I hate to say this but I've been going to this place for years when it was originally owned by bill and his partner and Asian lady whose name I can't recall. back then the food was more than excellent very well prepared great attention to detail an exceptional restaurant now it's gone through two owners and these last owners I hate to say are Korean and do not know much about the preparation of good American food so now it's turning into more of a Korean restaurant because they're offering a lot of Korean food. the other day I went there tried the meatloaf I was sick as a dog for 2 days. pretty much bedridden from the food poisoning. they put too much spices too much salt on your food and they really don't know what they're doing anymore. I'm giving them two stars only because of compassion but really only one should be the one that I would give them. I sure wish bill and his partner we're back at the helm back then it was a great restaurant now it's all downhill. do I recommend it? If it's the last restaurant on Earth Maybe. but with a lot of restaurants nearby like pistolini on the corner of 4th and Broadway you'd be better off going there to pestolini where the owner work for many years for a great restaurant in Beverly Hills as a chef and a food preparer. again I do not frequent this restaurant again because it's already been twice that I've gotten sick and I can't do that anymore
