Juquila Los Angeles Reviews
5 stars does not do justice! The BEST restaurant & BEST food I've EVER had *drooling*. Fernando was also the BEST waiter. Perfect recommendations. Authentic cuisine from Oaxaca. I will be back every time I'm in LA and highly recommend to everyone! Thank you again for an exquisite experience,
Killer tacos. Great in-house hot sauce.
Red wet asada burrito was delicious 😋 👌... And the mango margaritas 🍹 😋 awesome too....
Oh sweet Lord, the chilaquiles con juevos and quesillo. Fantastic authentic Mexican food and great service with flavors of Oaxaca.

One of the best Mexican Oaxacan Food, rich in culture and history as well as the food. It becomes for me and my family like a ritual, we gather to eat and get some drinks once a month. The food is excellent, my kids always goes for the fajitas or quesadillas. For us we always get different plates , birrias, burritos, the choice is so vast that sometimes we let the owner and his daughter choose for us which makes it very easy. They also have their own merch as well (shirts, hats, hoodies) that we love to rock when we go eat there. Love the place!!! It's a must try.
a gem.. the mole is some of the best in LA. good cumbia music playing. good service. good portions
Nice place, delicious Oaxacan food, great Service. Before they pandemic, we used to go every month to celebrate our birthdays with their mango margaritas on happy hour. I'm happy to learn they survived. Outdoor patio to eat now. The waitress remembered us after a year!!! Nice!
As a 5th generation authentic Mexican- food cook raised in Mexico, I don't eat at most Mexican restaurants because most are mediocre... so I cook my own Mexican food at home. HOWEVER... when I don't feel like cooking I go to this Juquila location. The food is outstanding and authentic af! Bravo to the chef! 👌🏼
We love having Juquila in our neighorhood, they have great food and drinks at affordable prices.
Been going for years recently visited again was amazing 🔥 waitress is awesome!

Food is so good! Delicious, traditional Oaxacan food. All the ingredients are the best quality. And the mole is amazing! The tortillas, te queso and the salsa omg! You must try it!

I was actually surprised the food was good because the service was so substandard and the place is evidently neglected.
Lunch was good.... service was good and the salsa on point
Food is pretty good. i had tacos al pastor, asada, and carnitas. The carnitas were a little dry. Al pastor was super greasy. Overall they were good though the service wasn’t good. I would ask if they had something and it was a quick no. A good server would suggest something else or explain when they would have it. He seemed a little agitated me asking about something. 🤷♂️

Not a really satisfying restaurant. The food’s quality was low and did not taste that good, it was also slightly overpriced. $6 for a tamale that tasted so and so, when you can get a better one elsewhere for $4. The Mole was not as good as the reviews from years ago claim. The service was decent, staff were friendly and attentive. We couldn’t really finish our plates, ended up boxing it to go and leaving earlier than usual. Place is not horrible, but I wouldn’t come here again.

Me and my friends came here on a crowded Thursday night. We scanned the QR code on the tables, and we found a form on their website. If you filled out the form with your contact information, you would get a free drink. After filling out the form, we received a text saying to show this message to our waiter for a free drink. We showed our waiter and he told us it wasn't working. What wasn't working? We just had to show him the message! He refused to give us our drinks and told us that next week it would be working. I was very confused by this, but he offered no further explanation. I get that it was busy and he probably didn't want to run around getting everyone a free drink, but why would they have that QR code on the table and have it set up just for the waiter to refuse to honor it. The food was fine, we paid $14 for nachos that had a decent amount of guac but were lacking with the other toppings. I really enjoyed the karaoke, it created a joyful atmosphere. The drink thing ruined my experience though :(

Unfortunately I have to be the bad guy this time, the food taste really good till I saw a hair in my food, I asked the waiter to change it politely and he took it away but he brought the same food with the same hair. He said I didn't had to pay for it and he said he erase it from my check but he only erase 7 dollars when I actually pay for it with meat but all that aside I feel that lying to your customers is not fair. I will never go back to this place.
