Pesto — Their pesto is classic Genovese-style with pine nuts, fresh basil, pecorino, parmigiano, garlic, and good olive oil. People usually say it’s bright, fresh, and really flavorful, especially if you pair it with spaghetti or gnocchi. Some add burrata on top (highly recommended if you didn’t!). A few mention it can sometimes feel a tiny bit salty or missing that extra pine nut crunch, but overall it’s one of their strongest sauces — super herbaceous and not overly oily. Solid choice, probably tasted nice and vibrant. Three Cheeses (Tre Formaggi) — This one’s a crowd favorite: gorgonzola, parmigiano reggiano, pecorino romano, cream, and arugula for a bit of peppery bite. It’s rich, creamy, and indulgent without being too heavy — the arugula helps cut through the richness. Reviews call it comforting, cheesy perfection, and great for soaking up with their focaccia bread. If you went with a pasta like tagliatelle or penne, it probably coated beautifully. Super satisfying if you’re in the mood for something gooey and comforting. Carbonara — (Pico location exclusive, I think!) Made with organic eggs, homemade pancetta (or bacon), onions, parmigiano, pecorino, and black pepper — no cream in the traditional style. People rave about it being rich, savory, and perfectly balanced, with that silky egg coating and nice pepper kick. It’s often called one of their best classic dishes, creamy in texture but not overly heavy. If yours had good al dente pasta, the guanciale/pancetta flavor probably shone through. Big thumbs up from most who try it. Overall, sounds like you hit three of their most loved sauces! Pasta Sisters does fresh, handmade pasta really well — portions are generous, prices are reasonable for LA (~$18–20 per pasta), and the quality feels authentic (family recipes from Northern Italy). The spot itself is casual/fast-casual (small seating, lots of takeout), but the food delivers. If everything was al dente and saucy like most reviews say, you probably had a great meal.

Family based. friendly environment and clean place like home. Food high quality plus, everything is fresh, aromatic and the flavours melt in your mouth. You can't go wrong. Not even mention the tiramisu just came from heaven

I actually really liked it here. I love being able to customize and make your own pasta. It’s small inside but there wasn’t a wait.

Pasta was delicious, fresh ingredients and home made pasta. Dessert is a must. We ate Gnocchi pesto, Cacio e Pepe and Spinach Ricotta Ravioli. For dessert panna cotta

Honestly? Probably the best pasta I’ve tried so far in LA, followed by Bacetti and Angelini Osteria. If I’m craving authentic, perfectly al dente pasta with impeccable sauce - I order from here. I can only imagine how much more delicious it would be to dine in and get it straight from the kitchen! Favourites: pasta bolognese, pasta arrabiatta (with added burrata), pasta black truffle. Highlyyy recommend going with pappardelle for the above sauces.

Great hole in the wall spot, definitely some of the best legit pasta in LA, if like Italian food and you know about the secret menu go ahead a get the Carbonara you absolutely wont be disappointed! Be aware that seating is limited so definitely come at non-peak time and find a table. I wasn't busy when we went but I imagine after seeing it all over TikTok and Instagram it will get busy. Cute lunch spot with pasta punching well above its weight!

Wow! After living in the neighborhood for years, my family finally stopped by Pasta Sisters for a taste—and we’re so glad we did. As a larger party of six, we were warmly welcomed the moment we walked in and promptly accommodated with a cozy table in the left corner, making us feel right at home. When it came time to order, we were a bit hesitant—none of us had ever tried authentic Italian food before. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and helpful, putting us at ease. Once our food arrived (quickly, I might add), we were blown away by the flavors. Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. To our surprise and delight, everyone in the family absolutely loved the meal. We’ll definitely be returning. In fact, it's bittersweet to admit, but this might just be our new go-to Italian spot—far more authentic than the Americanized place we used to frequent. We will definitely be back soon

I love the soft bread that they serve with olive oil and vinegar. I love their pastas… this is truly authentic Italian. Love it here. The ingredients are fresh and food is freshly prepared. The pasta is al dente.. you must try their tiramisu. It’s so good. This is not a full scale restaurant. It’s like a cafe which seats 11 people. Worth the wait.

Im a pasta lover and this place did not disappoint. Not even full blown restaurants could compare. The quality & freshness is the best I’ve had. The price isn’t bad and you get a good amount served. I truly enjoyed the customer service. I called to place an order and they took their time explaining the types of pasta. Then I decided to actually dine in, and they were so friendly despite being so busy. They gave me a free portion of prosciutto to try as well! Also don’t sleep on their gelato!! The general manager, Deana - what a lovely lady!! She was really holding down the fort and was just so nice to talk about to!

Love this place! Ran by two Italian sisters and their staff. What an amazing find. The food is fresh and so tasty. The fresh pasta with the buffalo mozzarella was divine. Would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come and visit soon!

The food of course is amazing but what makes this place even more than amazing is the manager. Definitely recommend this place to everyone

An authentic Italian pasta place which lives up to the hype. We came after hearing about it from the Worth it series, and was excited to try some of their featured dishes. They broke down their menu and explained how they prepared their pastas. The prices have definitely gone to the pricier side, but I would say it’s worth the quality and portion size. I would definitely recommend trying the salmon and cream dish. Very limited seating, but if you’re lucky enough to get a seat they’ll give you some great bread as well. We loved it, and it’s definitely worth a try.

Food was delicious. We all loved everything we got. I love Gnocchi and this is some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s a cute small shop not a ton of room for sitting down. There were 5 of us and we waited maybe 10 minutes and they held off making our food so we could sit and eat. We got desserts but got them to go because we’re headed to the airport soon. I would recommend this place. Be aware it’s a small shop. No bathrooms, and small area for seats, but the food more than makes up for the lack of space.

Amazing Fresh Pasta in a random strip mall Atmosphere: Small shop with maybe 3 tables. Full view of all the workers busy with tons of orders to go. Great interior for what it is very bright and pleasant. Hearing the interaction of the staff is a great background to your dinner. Food: Bread - Soft and tasty with oil and vinegar, a great start. Pesto with Burrata - Amazing, easily one of the best pasta dishes i have ever eaten. The Pesto bursts with flavor and the burrata was silky and the perfect addition. The pasta itself was the perfect al dente, you would be amazed how many places do this wrong. Spaghetti Bolognese - My son loved this, strong hint of what i think was wine in the meat but a nice sweetness. Overall liked the pesto better but this was good. Very nice menu with a swath of choices, I could easily try everything on this menu and I bet it would be good. Price: This will be the sticking point for most people. At $18.00 for a plate of pasta in a non-sit-down scenario is a bit hard to swallow. The quality of the food you are getting makes it a bit easier but I do understand it makes it more difficult for some. For me I thought the pasta was worth the price of admission and I will be back if I'm in the area. Parking: When we went Saturday night there were plenty of spots, from the other reviews it seems to be an issue. Guess we got lucky Service: Extremely nice staff made some good recommendations A great option for pasta if you are in the area, they are busy but the food comes out quick.

First time trying Pasta Sisters and I have to admit that their pasta dishes are super delicious. They got the spices and flavors down for sure because each bite was delicious. I would not mind booking them at my next event.

The lasagna is the best I've ever had, every bite is worth it. The pasta was okay, chewy but the tastes is "almost there". They also give bread and olive oil dip in the beginning which is really nice.

The place is a bit small, but their pastas transport you to the unique flavor and quality of pasta from Italy.

I recall seeing Pasta Sisters on episode of Worth It 7 years ago while living overseas and I had marked the location on my Google maps to try when I would visit LA…now that I live here I was super excited to finally try the restaurant I had marked 7 years ago to try! Overall a solid meal. The special spaghetti with shrimp and clams was very tasty with a nice subtle spice. The truffle pasta was good but very hard to taste the truffle…ended up being a decent creamy pasta. Each was $21 so definitely a pretty big increase of price over the last 8 years 😂….but that’s everywhere. So overall a good casual meal. Was I blown away based on price, quality and taste? Not blown away just a solid meal.

My friend and I came to pay his Metro phone next door. We notice this place and we were hungry after work, so we wanted to give this place a try. We came in and were not greeted, not notice, no nothing. We ended up getting two lemonades and left because we were not going to spend money at a place where we didn’t feel welcome. Customer service is a plus and the two young men that were there (the cashier and the kitchen guy) seemed they didn’t know that concept. Not coming back not even to try the food. Thank you for the attention to this matter.

After everything we've heard about the place, we really wanted to like the food. All my pastas tasted absurdly tough. Not al dente and cooked to perfection. The pastas tasted like they have been sitting out too long and premade from days ago, perhaps that makes them fresher with no synthetics to keep them tender but because my noodles were not freshly made, both my pastas tasted really stiff to chew on. There wasn't an al dente bite but a hard push back on your teeth as you chew through. What's going on with the ratio of your ingredients for your pasta? I was disappointed. The bread was also extremely soft, equal to cheap bread from a buffet.
