Taqueria Los Anaya Los Angeles Reviews
Friends, first time i try this place. Mexican Flautas are just the most delicious I’ve tried. Please come give this place a try. Friendly people work here. Thanks Erick and Ivan, your customer service goes beyond. God bless you!
The nachos were so light and fresh this nachos will one of my favorite nachos. I dont heavy after eating them. Good size but no heavy on your body. I want to run after I eat feeling. And fresh drinks our also healthy and great tasting.
First time trying this place. Just left about half an hour ago with my caldo de pollo to go. I got sick like two days ago and have been taking medicine and everything, but that alone just wasn’t cutting it. I knew my body just needed some good ol hearty soup. It was just under $20, and while I thought that was a lot, I can attest to you that it’s worth every penny. It comes with spanish rice, limes, and the best homemade tortillas I’ve ever had. This is comfort for the soul. The soup and rice are bursting with flavor and it was served to me nice and hot. I think it’ll heal this ugly cold I have and it’s definitely enough for one more serving. This is gonna have me craving soup when I’m not even sick. I’ll definitely have to come back for this and other yummy looking items on their menu. How lucky I am that this place is only 3 minutes away from me!
Eat in restaurant with bar, menu is creative and has unique specials. Happy hour menu and daily specials available. Food is well presented and flavorful. Great balance of spice and acidity. We started with potato taquitos and guacamole with chips that were immediately devoured. Servings were generous, my husband couldn't finish his wet burrito. My daughter had steak and eggs from their all day breakfast menu. I had their baby back ribs special that was incredible. Tender and topped with a sauce and pickled onions. I couldn't finish it but I'm looking forward to the leftovers tomorrow. Presentation was lovely. Overall a great eat in experience and already planning on taking the in laws next time they are in town.
This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I've been coming here for years but kept forgetting to leave a review. The service is amazing everyone is friendly and helpful. I've ordered several things from the menu and everything is delicious. Today I ordered the shrimp burrito with red sauce on the side and my mom ordered enchiladas. Their red sauce is fire! My favorite item on the menu though is Camarones a La Diabla.
This place is one of the best spots I have ever visited for wholesome authentic Mexican cuisine. My daughter recommended the chilaquiles plate with carne asada.Served with an egg and refried beans. We both tried a taco de lengua too..Very delicious and both meats so tender. Their salsas are so good too..The staff was so friendly..I will definitely return and recommend this place..
5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I came in for happy hour and left with a full belly and a full heart! Taqueria Los Anaya is a gem in the neighborhood. Their cucumber lime juice was so refreshing, and the vegetarian/vegan options were chef’s kiss. I had the potato flautas and vegetable enchiladas—both were flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated. The homemade tortillas (no lard!) and guacamole? Baby, that guac will make you wanna slap your mama! The staff was warm, attentive, and made me feel right at home. I’ll definitely be back—and bringing friends!
What a terrific place to eat in the neighborhood! The food is fantastic. The service is wonderful. The atmosphere is lovely. The wife and I love this spot and can't wait to eat here again. Highly recommend!
Came here last August. It was my first time here. My brother who live in LA said he ever visit twice and it was good. He really true, IT WAS AMAZING!! We reserved for big family lunch and we were all happy!! The restaurant is small but homey, they have parking lot and that's a plus point. The food was unique and amazing. Really want to go back next time I visit LA again 🤩
I came for the first time ever on National Taco Day that just happen to fall on Taco Tuesday. I ordered Barbacoa, Fried Shrimp, Carne Asada and Chicken. They were $3 a piece which I believe is the normal price on Tuesday. The chips and salsa were made on site. It’s tasty I just prefer a hotter salsa. I will be back on Tuesday 😆
A friend brought me to Taqueria Los Anaya this weekend for lunch and recommended the NY Steak plate, with beans and rice. The steak was done perfectly for me (medium rare) and slathered with caramelized onions and garlic. The meat was tender and juicy, spiced just right. I agreed with my friend that it is among the best steaks in LA. Jose and Manny were gracious hosts moving between tables to make sure all was well with the meals served, welcoming customers, and making me (a first timer here) feel at home. I brought their steak tacos with rice home and enjoyed a tasty meal later in the evening, accompanied by beans and a salsa with mushrooms. There is a parking lot on the west corner of the block, although it is not available on Sundays.
This place is so cute! Feels like your eaten in a Latino house. We ordered margaritas that were delicious and came in cute cactus glasses. My friend ordered the grilled shrimp burrito, and it was delicious and filling. I ordered the combination tacos asada and grilled shrimp, this was sooo good! I definitely recommend the food here.
According to Google, last time I was here was 8 years ago. This was 8 years too long. I was extremely overwhelmed with joy to see they survived the pandemic. There is no Mexican restaurant in the area that competes with this location. The service, food, and atmosphere has no parallel. I've been blessed in circling their menu a couple of times. You cannot be disappointed with anything you order, but, while extremely difficult, I was able to find some favorites. Barbacoa is essential. From the tenderness in the meat to the sensation your taste buds feel with every bite. The Mango Chicken is a close second. I'm not a big fan of sweet meats but the way these two flavors come together are unbelievable. Even their rice has an unforgettable taste. It is too easy to clean your plate and send your mother pictures so she can let you have dessert. Speaking of dessert...the best bread pudding on this side of the hemisphere. If you're too full, get one to go. I'm a life long fan of Los Anaya, and promise to not let another 8 years go by before coming back. But first, I'll visit your second location.

Just passing by on my way back home to Riverside. Stopped by because I seen great ratings. This place definitely holds it down! I would've ordered a second burrito to go if I knew it was this good!
tacos Los Anaya proved to be an outstanding choice for a quick lunch stop, exceeding expectations with both flavor and service.

Los Anaya is new for us. We really liked it. It is a cute place sort of in Mid City. It has take out, delivery and dine in. We dined in. The place is not huge, but there was plenty of room for us. The place is super clean and decorated very nicely. The service is excellent. If you are dinning there you will have a server and he knows everything about the menu and the specials. We were there and Happy Hour specials were available. We took advantage of a couple of them and ordered the rest of the food off the regular menu which covers everything you want in Mexican/Yucatán food. We had the cheese enchiladas and they were not great and thus 4 stars instead of 5. They were tough and the sauce was boring. They also use low fat mozzarella and I have no idea why. It is not as good as regular and is anyone on a diet ordering cheese enchiladas, I think not. We won't have them again. The rest of the food was amazing though. We had the Happy Hour Cochinita Pibil, (Roast Pork with spices ) served Yucatán style and it was just about 9.50$. It came with rice and beans which were very good. We also ordered guacamole which was great. We decided to try grilled Serrano peppers and were so happy we did. They have great drinks, from sodas to sparkling water. I did not notice if they had beer. We really likes this place and will be back.
First time coming and I was brought by someone who had been here before. We arrived around 10am and it was empty. We were greeted quickly and sat at a table. I ordered the piña agua fresca with the cheese enchiladas and half salsa green and red. I really enjoyed the green salsa more than the red. Everything was delicious and warm and it did not disappoint. Worth checking them out!
I had the carnitas burrito topped with a mix of red & green enchilada sauce. The flavors were really good. Loved the home made chips!!
