Loved the Chicken Livers, that's what I ordered and they were Fresh as well as Delicious.

Best chopped beef brisket sandwiches. Lots of grease just the way you would expect from Pinkies. Yes the workers are horrible but it’s Pinkies. Seems like the owners would do something about them. But it’s a must do when in town.

Never had BBQ like Pinkie's BBQ. We've lived in the area for years and we didn't know that it existed until one day we wanted BBQ. The only place that we could find was Pinkie's. It was so good! I would recommend it to anyone. They just need to make the place a little more noticeable. We thought it was a liquor store.

My daughter and I went in to get something to eat for the drive home. My daughter had a seizure and the staff and customers jumped to help us instantly. Calling 911 and helping me get her on the floor. They were ALL our HERO'S today. Amazingly awesome people!

Stopped in for lunch one day because my wife was craving gizzards and this is the go-to place for that. They also had a 3-meat plate special on Friday, so we all got that and everything was great. Will have to go more often. It had been a while, since the location closer to us closed.

Good ole BBQ food. It's never changed in flavor. From sandwiches to gizzards and the livers too, it all good stuff. The sauce itself is good and food is the same as when my parents would buy it when it was down 1729 road.

The food is good but the service sucks !!!! Was in line for what seemed forever. No one ever answered the Entercom to take my order. Me thinking Entercom not working cause even after saying hello anyone there and getting no answer I drive forward to window only to be told they couldn't take my order cause I didn't use Entercom! I explain that no one was answering Entercom but they didn't care They still didn't take my order!!! Not a happy customer!

Pretty dam good and cheap for a Gass station. And they have specials on certain days. But they try and keep the place clean so please be courteous and pick up after your self!

Gizzards were good. Staff is not very inviting, but it was alright.

Could have had more bbq sauce on the brisket sandwiches. Be careful with the chopped brisket sandwich, and make sure you have it in a plastic bag before taking it to your vehicle.

Not as good as the one that was by the old strip If you want it done right I suggest going inside where you can see them make your order Best gizzards and spicy sauce is pretty good too

I've been going to pinkies since I was younger and I've always loved to gizzard.. you can't go wrong with them . Today I got gizzards and a chopped BBQ sandwich and they were both great. If you like your BBQ saucey I'd recommend getting extra sauce . The employees were friendly so thank yall

Pinkies isn't what it used to be. During my last visit I couldn't eat my order of gizzards because the batter was rock hard. :(

Very friendly service, but sliced brisket was a bit dry, leaner than I prefer. Side dish portions were smaller than expected. Charged for water...

We lived near One for 35yrs. GREAT food, BBQ, Hot link sandwich, Cold beer, Gizzards , Cherry Cobbler . If you havnt tired it, Try it AGAIN SOON.!!

Decent food but not great. Affordable and unprocessed alternative to fast food. Property is shared with a gas station convenience store so you could say the atmosphere is awkward when your stuphhing your face with meat when a crowd of party boys comes in to buy energy drinks and arizonas for a night of partying. The only way they could work with the location is if they hired a gangley bum to point at someone's plate of bbq when convenience store customers come in and say "don't party too hard or this could be you heheh"

We enjoy pinkies often we drive in from Plainview, got sandwiches on Monday 1031 2023, something was off about the sandwich. Didn't hit the spot, was disappointed.

I went through the drive thru made my order and was over charge! When I brought it to the cashier's attention she said "yea I saw that would you like another side? It will be on the house." Uhhhh No ma'am in this case I would be paying for it....the food was okay but the whole I know I cheated you I won't mention if you don't, was over my head.

Shamelessly overpriced for the portions they give you. Food quality isn’t bad but it’s nothing special either.

I would call this oven or crockpot BBQ which is not BBQ. BBQ is meat + fire = Smokey meat. No smoke on this stuff. The brisket is dry. I’m not a sauce person when I eat bbq but had to have it on this dry stuff and it has an off taste. If you want bbq go down the street to the Shack. Step it up Pinkies and make real Texas BBQ.

Not worth the price. Very bland. Got the brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese had 0 flavor and brisket sandwich was cut very very thin.

Staff was friendly; but did not make our sandwiches right. Both were supposed to have hot sauce and they didn't. Sliced beef was to be made with a little fat in it; but there was way too much fat (almost half of it). There was also a long hair in the wrapped up with the sandwich. Only great thing about this visit was the potato salad. Not enthusiastic about this location.

Pinkies sounded Great today till we tasted our food. Sliced brisket sandwich was extremely dry n hard. The gizzards were also dry. Service was good n polite. Very disappointing n pricey for what we got.

My husband and i wanted pinkies BBQ . We figured it would be more convenient rather than going all the way to the one on Tahoka hwy. Big mistake!!! Ribs tasted like they were boiled. Sliced brisket was shredded . Ham was diced into cubes . The sauce was good. Next time we will choose quality over convenient !

The food is phenomenal! But the customer service is lacking. I went though the drive thru and didn't receive my whole order. I went back, went inside and told them what I didn't get. They wanted to argue with me and make rude comments to each other about it. And this wasn't the first time it has happened to me. On the 4th of July, my son and I had gone to get bbq from Pinkie's, in the drive thru, and didn't get all of our order. I just couldn't believe that they argue with me and make snide comments about it. I won't be going back to this Pinkie's again. And I suggest that if you order ham, double check to make certian that they give it to you!

Gizzards were good but everything else was not the same! Sauce seemed watered down no flavor and brisket sandwich was soggy and meat was mushy! I didn't even finish it! 😕

I’ve been eating here since I was a kid and I am so disappointed in the quality of the food now. The sliced brisket was so tough to chew and the flavor of the meat is not like it used to be. I definitely don’t recommend their food anymore. 😔

Horrible Price's are outrageous. Sides are extremely small. Bbq sandwich tasted old and burnt. Staff dissappeared for 15 minutes. Served old burnt okra. Ordered another side and it took them that 15 minutes they werent around to make it.. HORRIBLE... I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE.

Today marks the third time that we come to this place and almost everything we order its "We're out of that!" Oh my gosh! I am so done with this place. Your service is horrible! Thank God Chicken Express is just up the street. Literally every time we come to this Pinkies we end up at Chicken Express. Your management really needs to work on this, 3 times in a row is a bit much.

Manager on duty Sunday May 8, 2022, Ty Scott sat back and let his 18yr employee handle a situation that clearly warranted a manger. I go to Pinkies for the memories the food holds for me and my family. I was in Lbk for the holiday wknd and yeah stopping there for gizzards was a terrible idea. I’m from Lbk and know what the name Pinkies represents for Lubbockites, this manager clearly doesn’t represent the company to its standards.

Hated the sliced brisket, what I received in my take out sack was a mess of tough chunks of some type of meat consisting of spare pieces from somewhere, there was only one small chunk that even had a knife mark on it, this was the second time I have tried this 4th street location, and only because I was shown the sliced brisket from another location at a luncheon, it looked just like a stack of SLICED....!! brisket should, since my parents owened a BBQ Resturant until their passing I do know what it should look like!! I will not go back after 2 expensive tries and 2 disappointe d events these people need to correct their store, hard to believe this stuff was BBQ when even the smell is off.

The older shorter lady with the ponytail did not wear any gloves whatsoever. She wiped sweat from the beginning of her hairline and her nose. The second lady only has on one glove. Most importantly, they are both dealing with people’s food. Ridiculous.

They've gone down hill. Meats tough, sides are tiny, buns soggy, burnt okra, and hardly any chicken in the chicken strips. Not worth what we paid. Drinks were decent.

Went to at 4704 4th street. We sat right in front of counter controlled by kid's. Our food was place on counter never called out number few families waiting. Two different familes complained prior to my order about gizzard being cold. The gentleman behind counter are rude. Disrespectful. No professionalism at all. I won't be returning.

Brisket sandwich was cold. Taste like it been there for a couple days barbecue sauce is not the same very disappointed will not be going back ever see for yourself, but don’t waste your appetite on something that’s not fresh and it’s cold.

I'm done with Pinky's BBQ they used to have such great barbecue and service. I dropped by there last week ordered some brisket sandwich combo and a large drink. Originally asked for sweet tea and they told me they were out of sweet tea I should have gotten some potato salad with my combo it was not in the bag. I called next day to complain to Tye the general manager left my number to see if I can get reimbursed for half of my meal and did not receive a call from him or any of the management team.

This pinky’s was horrible. My parents where getting pinkies today, when they got there meal there sauce was an orange color( it’s supposed to be red),there sauce was also watered down and didn’t have the same taste. They said there gizzards tasted like rubber and was hard to chew. When we called to make a complaint we got the worst costumer service, instead of having manner and being polite she was rude, interrupting, and was all above just no manners. This is the worst pinkies my parents have been to my dad has been going there for 30 years and it has not been this horrible. This pinkies is horrible.

Got one large broken up piece of brisket on my sandwich. Sad. My son unfortunatley ate his before I realized what was going on. So no refund for his. We took it to the manager and they said it was the way it was supposed to be, a literal rip off. I had gotten one previously that was so good and a fair amount of meet. But this time around they were perfectly content with losing our business for good. Tired of companies who rip people off with under par products and don't care about the customers.

We drive up to get our order and the lady that gave us our order was very rude and rolled her eyes at us. Also the sandwiches were very sloppy, the sauce very watery, and the gizzard had no taste to them. Definitely not going back. I don’t mind going to the original pinkies. It was the thick Mexican/black girl.

My friend and I was there I placed and paid for my order 30.00 worth, my friend placed the order the lady that did the cutting of the my order did two then went to make my friend when questioned her to make plate she stayed I am making all four I asked her why she couldn't finish my order she got upset because I inform her that she was giving my ribs to my friend she got frustrated. This lady Rochelle I know because she work with my sisters the other store. Very bad customer serve given. I got home and the ribs were raw. I never have gotten bad food or bad customer service from you guys ever. I don't think I will be visiting this location again.

I purchased a large sliced bbq. Brisket combo. Half the sandwich was fat the othe half gristle. Worst meal ever. I called to tell them and they put me on hold till I hung up.

Bought 3 lbs. of meat. Ham was cold but lady said she gave me extra. Offered to microwave it to heat the ham. Asked about the chopped beef qtr. pound I ordered and they said it was in the bag. Got home and there was no chopped beef. Had to ask for more sauce as they only gave me 2 of the smallest containers. I should have read the reviews before going there. Very disappointing.

We ordered the chicken livers with sides and drinks. They forgot to give us the sides and when we reminded them the lady was indifferent. We got home and opened everything to find the chicken livers were extremely dried out to the point you could not chew them and the sides were not edible. Everything had to be thrown out. It was the worse experience we've ever had it any place in Lubbock! If I could give less than on star I would do so in a heartbeat.

They acted like we were unwelcome when we arrived. Drive through only and our large order of liverswas not large . There were 6 pieces of livers and they were dried up and cold !!! Contacted them via facebook..and they were still not even cordial .

I order a chopped beef sandwich and my husband order the sliced brisket , the meat was dry and chili potatoes wedges, not so great. Chopped beef was dry, umm not sure if it's the sauce or the meat but could only eat like 2 bite of the sandwich, the potatoes wedges, the ground meat on it was bad... the food didn't taste fresh.

I went in today 5/15/25 . Ordered 56 dollars worth of food to take home . I asked the young man if there was any small packs of salt . I did not hear a reply. So I asked him again. He replied by saying in a very condescending way. " I told you we don't have any "!. I immediately got very upset, and I told him . You do not talk to me in that manner ! I am a 60 year old man you have some respect! Do you talk to your parents or grand parents in that condescending tone ? He said no I don't and added a sir behind it . Yet he lets me walk off with my food, and does not bring to my attention he placed an empty gallon jug on the counter for the tea I had purchased . I drove away, and when I drive back he is there waiting on me, and points to the empty jug ? I took a picture of him to add to this review, but at that time a short man in late to 30 or early '40s steps in, and said you can not take a picture of my employees, if you have a problem you can ask for me he tells me . I said who are you, and replies I'm the manager . I said really you heard the way he spoke to me, you heard what I told him you know he deliberately let me walk out without the tea, you are very much aware of what took place just now, and only when you realize I'm going to write a review that I will make the only know what is taking place in here does it matter to you . Why didn't you correct the problem when you heard it ? I was not aware. Yes you where you were standing in the front counter. You can talk to me if you have a problem. I told him you have no shame . You playing dumb you know the attitudes in this place . I have almost 3 millions views on my google account sir you should take that into account .

Went back there tonight to try them again, I grew up eating Pinkies BBQ back to the 70s as a child I loved going with family on beer runs just to get me some BBQ, it's always been great but the last 10 years it's hit and miss, but im done, my sliced brisket sandwich was terrible, that brisket was cooked in an oven not a smoker, there was no smoke ring and no bark and loaded with fat, I ordered trimmed no fat, and every bite was mostly fat 🤮. I always enjoyed there brisket sandwich going back to the 70s, im done no more chances

Went back there tonight to try them again, I grew up eating Pinkies BBQ back to the 70s as a child I loved going with family on beer runs just to get me some BBQ, it's always been great but the last 10 years it's hit and miss, but im done, my sliced brisket sandwich was terrible, that brisket was cooked in an oven not a smoker, there was no smoke ring and no bark and loaded with fat, I ordered trimmed no fat, and every bite was mostly fat 🤮. I always enjoyed there brisket sandwich going back to the 70s, im done no more chances

I went in today 5/15/25 . Ordered 56 dollars worth of food to take home . I asked the young man if there was any small packs of salt . I did not hear a reply. So I asked him again. He replied by saying in a very condescending way. " I told you we don't have any "!. I immediately got very upset, and I told him . You do not talk to me in that manner ! I am a 60 year old man you have some respect! Do you talk to your parents or grand parents in that condescending tone ? He said no I don't and added a sir behind it . Yet he lets me walk off with my food, and does not bring to my attention he placed an empty gallon jug on the counter for the tea I had purchased . I drove away, and when I drive back he is there waiting on me, and points to the empty jug ? I took a picture of him to add to this review, but at that time a short man in late to 30 or early '40s steps in, and said you can not take a picture of my employees, if you have a problem you can ask for me he tells me . I said who are you, and replies I'm the manager .
