The drinks here are well worth the money! By far my favorite bar in town. Jessica and Courtney are so good at service, their bar manners are perfect and they are very quick. The drinks are strong and taste good. Their drink knowledge is what you expect from a great bartender. I always have at least one frozen margarita.. try it you won't regret it.
Awesome bar to go to for everyone!! Well for those that don't mind a drink or two. The staff is fast and efficient and even a manager, I believe his employees calls him Slider? Came to the rescue when it looked like things were piling up foe thw bartenders. After the rush he even came out to apologize and to make sure everyone was good to go! Amazing experience and awesome place!
It's a very busy college bar during peak weekend night times, but when the crowd's not in full force, it's an amazing chill spot to grab a drink. Great value, decent selection, a few games, cool decor
This place is great! Whether you’re wanting a drink after work with the guys or going out on a Friday night The Library will not disappoint! Slider (bartender) definitely knows his drinks and hooks it up at the bar!
Love this bar one of my top picks in Lubbock! Great staff, games, and good music. If you’re new to Lubbock and looking for a good place to hang out with your friends or meet new people this is definitely a place I’d recommend you to go to.
Great place to hang out with friends and have a few drinks. Staff is great and always takes care of everyone. Enjoy coming here to watch the games and play golden tee

Great atmosphere but a particular bartender is overly busy and had even ignored people. But I've had great experience here before and will be back. Overall is a great place
Figured we would try them out since we heard they were under new ownership…strange experience all around. We walked in to see that we were the only people in besides the DJ and a guy sitting at the bar on his phone, no bartender in sight. I ended up walking up to the guy asking if he knew where the bartender was after us walking around for a minute. He pulled the uno reverse on me and walked behind the bar. Not bad for the first round, but we ended up getting 2 lemon drops which were their “$4 special” for the night. Long story short, I paid $8 for two half shots of vodka, lemon juice, and water, poured directly in the shot glass respectively. Not mixed, not chilled, no sugar rum…not to mention that’s not even the CORRECT ingredients. I understand a bartender not knowing how to make something, but how do you do that bad on your SPECIAL? They added pool tables though, so that’s a plus… Manager was talkative and welcoming. Toilet paper holder was broken off of the wall and upside down on the floor, it still worked for the purpose served, as it was locked and loaded with TP, so no points deducted for that, but like fever dream vibes ya know? Would give another chance overall, just no lemon drops
It's an okay place, but to be honest I'm not much into the club scene like I once was. It has a very laid back atmosphere, but nothing stood out to me that set the place apart from any other bar. I went on a weekday evening so I'm sure the weekend is much more packed.
Still make good mix drinks... not as packed as it used to be 7yrs ago.. Thursdays are now chill... they seem to have (games) to bring in a younger crowd. It's nice to chill and convo over good drink specials.
The bar was full on a weekday night for a TTU baseball game. They had great music, a chill atmosphere, and fun people hanging at the bar. The first bartender was so nice and attentive that he got stuck doing all the work while the other just walked around with an energy drink. We asked the walking bartender for refills and food, but all he did was ring it up. We had to wait for the other bartender to bring us the drinks and food. And the food sucked. The chicken strips were burnt while the corndog bites were still raw and squishy. Half the experience was good, but I'm not convinced to return.

They allow smoking, maybe a plus for some but not me. Also, while the bartender working there was polite and working as hard as he could, I had to go through three (3) drink orders before I said something that they actually had. Also, the music was really load which is fine for something like a club but if there's no dancing what's the point? It's just harder to hear what the person next to you is saying.

Went here shortly after the new ownership took over and the manager was great. However I decided to come back tonight and the bartender didn't want to make the drink I ordered and tried to talk me out of it. In the end I agreed with her that I didn't want it and we left and went to a bar that actually wanted to make money. Won't give them another chance after this.
Bartender was very social with some, mostly with men. Serves us in plastic glasses while she serves others with actual glasses. Bathroom has no soap and no paper towels. Also stinks very bad. Tiles coming off on the floor. Bar is rundown and very unpleasant. Find someplace else to go.
Everyone I know asks" What happened to the Library"? The ownership really fails to understand it's environment and vibe. Why a place that looks like a saloon plays EDM? I haven't seen it packed in almost 2 years. Last time I went in the manger a female was so drunk she started issues with a few people. Should be the top place but it's sadly just a shell of it's former self.
Train your wait staff better. We were charged for something, didn't receive it, and were accosted by the waitress for asking about it when it showed up on our bill. I'm not just being overly complacent here. We asked about it and the person decided that it would be best to interrogate us as to why we didn't go stealing items from other peoples' tables. It was pretty weird. I don't think we'll return.
Got told they lost my card because one of the bartenders let another person close my tab out for me and gave them my card. Get told that I won't be charged for my tab for the mistake, wake up the next day with a 50 dollar bar tab that I didn't rack up. Call them the next day to no answer. Do not go to this bar unless you want them to lose your card and charge you wrongly.
I don't like loud places so when my friends suggested we go to the library I thought "that sounds perfect!" Boy was I wrong. It's insanely loud. Who names a super loud bar "the library"? I felt mislead. Also, I would've given two stars, but putting the bathroom on the opposite end of the hellscape that is the dance floor is unforgivable. Those people are monsters. I had to stop to let some poor girl who dropped her ID crawl on the ground in front of me to get it (people just kept walking on it) and people behind me started shoving me and to prevent myself from getting pushed over this girl and trampled I had to brace myself on people making out. There's gotta be a better way to get people to the bathrooms. This just isn't right.
