Went to Cheddar's for supper with the family and celebrating a birthday. The bread was fresh and very delicious, we ordered the spinach dip and Wisconsin cheese bites each were equally delicious. It was a party of 7 and had just about one of each type of course they had, burger, steak, wrap, chicken, seafood, pasta and adult beverages. Each food was fresh and cooked to perfection. The portions were just enough to be overfilling and the beverages were strong enough. I highly recommend stopping by you won't be disappointed. The servers were very tentative and frequently made sure you had everything you needed.

Everything was wonderful! Steak cooked to protection and was tender for a well done. Peach tea was awesome! The only problem was minor but I tend to be uncomfortable when a/c is too cold. I recently placed a to go order at this location and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing, and the young lady that brought my order out was so sweet. One of my cousins, who is a vegetarian, really enjoyed his food. He had no idea they offered a vegetable plate. Needless to say, I believe they now have a new fan. 😊

Home cooked meals served from scratch. If you enjoy a real meal, this is the place. The food is amazing, and the portions are huge. The atmosphere is family friendly, warm and cozy. We were seated promptly and had a warm welcome from our server. She did not have a name tag so we cannot compliment her directly. We ordered the New Orleans Pasta ( Alfredo) and meatloaf. The pasta was very flavorful with lots of shrimp and sausage and enough to make 2 meals for me. The meatloaf was firm and had great texture but could have used some seasoning. Broccoli casserole was delicious. We were even provided with more croissants to take with us. We will be back!

Awesome place! I had the Monte Cristo Sandwich, my husband had the fried fish, my in-laws had the fried shrimp, and fried shrimp and chicken tenders. The portions were huge, and the prices were very reasonable. Also, the service was top notch!

We don't think to go often, but the food is always great! The waitress we had this last visit came across as rude and seemed to roll her eyes every time we asked for something and other than having to ask for normal refills(we had apps and dinner and only needed 2 refills... not like a ridiculous amount) and sauce we had already asked for when ordering and boxes. Things that a waitress should know to ask a table should not get a rude attitude when being asked for... but she did bring anything we needed fairly promptly. She may have just been having an off night.

This is one of my go to places. Starting off, the croissants are delicious! I generally choose pescatarian options. This time was the Talapia and shrimp with a salad and broccoli as my sides. Delicious. Ample portions to share if you get an appetizer.

They have the best food! Just make sure to double check your steak. Sometimes medium rare comes out medium and sometimes it comes out rare. I typically go with medium rare seared on one side. Overall, the savory flavor of the steak is good enough that adding A1 is pointless.

Color us impressed! Lol. My sister and I went for lunch and had quick and friendly service and great food. Due to an appetizer on top of my meal, I will also have great leftovers. The food was excellent. We both got top sirloin, a chef salad, and fries. The steak was cooked perfectly at medium. My only minor complaint was with our waiter. I think he was new because he delivered the food and asked if we need anything else, to which I replied, "Silverware probably would be helpful." I didn't want to make him feel bad so I said it with a wink and a smile. He also let our iced tea get almost empty so I had to flag him down to request a refill. Other than that, perfection. And reasonably priced! I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Our server Randy was very attentive without being overbearing. He was kind and very efficient! I loved how he interacted with my grandson by helping him choose his sides. Cheddars always have good waitstaff. Randy was by far one of the best!

Family night dinner was a success. Atmosphere was relaxed and social. Food was delicious! Waiter was excellent in recommended drinks and every other aspect! The little girl hostessing could use a few pointers starting with customer service and ending with please wash your hands when you come in to check and spot "clean" the restroom. The bathroom was not good and I went to 3 different stalls. If the bathroom had been clean and didn't smell like vomit I would have given Cheddar's 5 🌟!

The food I've tried has all been tasty. The coffee they brought me tasted like it had been made that morning, but they made fresh after complaining. The croissants are nice, but the honey butter on them isn't. Would personally like it better if the butter was served on the side.

We arrived at 6:30. Ordered food and drinks right away after being seated. The server was great about drink refills and clearing dishes and bringing extra croissants, but the food took forever. It was delicious, but took much longer than expected.

Great value and nice atmosphere. Bartender served us and managed all very well. Food was fast, hot and pretty good.

Hostess was rude, didn’t communicate and avoided me when she forgot about us and seated another party that arrived well after we did. Wait staff was mediocre but I expected that so no problem. Food was not as good as I’ve had before, lots of errors (wrong dressing, wrong side, didn’t refill drinks) that being said; even when the food is not to par it’s still better than other places like chilies and Logan’s but it won’t be my first choice anymore.

There's nothing that really sets this location apart from other Cheddar's I've visited, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The menu features a decent selection of "homemade" inspired dishes, and has a generous bar offering of both their signature drinks and what you'd expect from a national chain. What I appreciate most is the family-friendly atmosphere - not too quiet, not too loud, and no one seems to care when one or two of your kids get a lil' obnoxious.

I went just after they opened at 11am. When you walk in the front door, the place smells like old mop water applied by a mildewed mop. The light fixture above us had a lightbulb go out while we were there, 2 out of 3 lightbulbs were out. The food was super and our server was very good! Left her a 20%+ tip. I went because I was craving a MonteChristo. It did not disappoint! Prices were very reasonable. There is a huge fish tank between the dining area and the bar area that is great entertainment for the kids. The free appetizer crescents with honey butter will ruin your meal - they're so good!

Sat at bar & requested a cape cod with gray goose. No gray goose, no belvedere. Luckily had Titos. Never had a cap cod in a martini glass but it was ok. Chicken strips, salad & mashed potatoes were good. Hubby had Monte Christo and said ok but not very crispy. All & all just nothing outstanding.

I ordered a cheese burger. The meat had a sponge-like chewy texture. It had no taste whatsoever. The bun was fresh.The veggies were perfect. The fries were very good. Throughout our meal we heard an unpleasant piercing sound. It turned out to be the restaurant phone. Each call was an order, but because the restaurant was short staffed the horrible piercing sound was persistent.

Just not a good location for this normally reliable chain. This location is dingy, the floor was dirty, there was even a large roach running across the floor. Just not a good look. Service was untrained. Good person, just didn't know what to do. Food was all either very bland, or drowning in sugar.

My coworker and I went just to get dessert the place was empty and it took 40 minutes just to get it them when we got or dessert it had been setting up for a while because the ice cream was in a puddle. We had to send it back the second time the manger brought it out

I was in Lufkin the week before last visiting my dad. We decided to go to Cheddar’s for lunch because I’ve always enjoyed eating there, my dad has always liked it as well. I ordered the Dijon Chicken with a baked potato and green beans. The chicken came out and looked great I took a bite and something was very wrong. The chicken had the weirdest texture, it was almost like gum. I thought maybe it was just me so I had my dad taste as well and he agreed. I flagged down the server and asked him if he could just replace it with some grilled chicken. He brought back the grilled chicken and it was the very same. I ended up just sending back all of the meat and just ate my vegetables. I’m not sure if it’s the quality of their chicken or how they thawed it out but something was very wrong and I’m glad I did not eat it. I did not ask for them to take the chicken off of the bill although the server did just that. I thought it was very strange that the manager never came over once to see what the problem was. Cheddar’s has gone way downhill the past few years in quality of food and service. Management did not come to the table or get involved regarding if their chicken was bad so that was very concerning.

Use to be a good place. Ordered fried chicken salad and it was mostly carrot shavings with 3 small chicken strips. Ribs were just dry. They later came back with a vengeance. Our waitress kept forgetting about us. It just isn’t like it used to be.

i love cheddars but, me and my friends went last night after placing a reservation days in advance. they said they couldnt seat us because they had other big parties. i don't understand why they would seat them or call us and let us know beforehand. you should not be accepting reservations if you cant hold them. this is very unprofessional and unfair. get it right cheddars.

So my girl ordered a salmon salad and I ordered 6oz steaks and ribs (I upgraded my steak to 8 oz) the size of the salmon is decent but the amount of salad is unreal.. oh well, I think she liked it overall. Steak was okay. It was nicely cooked as I said medium. Not bad.. ribs had some problem.. they were chewy and very strongly attached to the bones.. quite disappointed that this is Texas level of ribs.. We took our granddaughter here for her birthday. The server was super nice BUT the food was horrible! Ordered the ribeye steak medium, my friend ordered the mushroom burger. My steak came out well done and my friends burger came out with whole mushrooms on it with mustard dripping off of it. The steak had no flavor. My one star is because we had a good waitress.

Terrible service. This dude was súper rude as if we were a disturbance threw silverware at us, got 5$ tip.

Food in the past was delicious. Today I ordered my favorite grilled salmon, broccoli, loaded baked potato. The salmon was dry and tough. The broccoli was tasteless and the potato was barely lukewarm. The rice, which used to have a butter taste, was blah!
