I love this station so much

Nicest station I've visited on the Madrid metro I reckon. It has a Cernacías line running just above your head perpendicular to the metro lines, right through the the metro station hall. Surely everyone finds this exciting

Historic place, old railway station surrounding lots of things to do with family. Luv Madrid.

This is a great station, trains and various metro lines (underground) and a very compact shopping center, that has parking facilities, a cinema (cinesa), a supermarket (supercor) starbucks, optician, various fashion shops, starbucks, diners such as; Ginos, Tagliatella, VIPS, KFC, Wok, Burger King, McDonalds, TacoBell, Rodilla, and a few others. Its located infront on the corner of the palace, very close to the actual center, aprox 10min walk from Plaza España, which gets you to Gran Via, the heart of Madrid. Dont forget your mask - obligatory on public transport - 2022

This old metro station is very impressive, perfectly maintained so it is visually pretty and comfortable look and admire. It is pretty big and conveniently located in the "Principe Pio Mall" well the Mall was built by the Metro Station. Beautiful old classic Metro-Train station 🚉✅

It is the western gateway to Madrid and a complex place with a shopping mall complex. Media Distancia, Cercanias and subway run by.

The facilities offer both trains and metro services with a big shopping mall just over it..Metro line 6 and 10 passes through here..Puerta san vicente is just meters away and also The Royal Palace is very close by for a magnificient visit..the metro is very descent and clean..Though its not very safe to wander arround late as there are plenty homeless people hanging arround all day and night close by the station and malls entrances

Pretty nice and modern as far as train stations go, plus there's a mall.

Nice renovation job on an old station. Still has trains and metro but also has new, large, modern shopping centre. I was impressed with the idea of the RENFE bridge running right through the metro station (see photo), but then I like trains.

Very little seating, one seat next to the coffee kiosk, which is very busy but quite good for coffee and pastries.

The train station itself looks very nice. It looks a a bit like a historical place but amneties are very modern. I found it a bit difficult to get out of the station and took a wrong exit out as there were no clear exit signs anywhere, some parts of the station look like they're under construction but temporary signs don't help.

This is really a shopping centre with some rail lines running through it. It certainly does not promote itself as a rail station. Signage is dreadful, there are no easily visible departure/arrival boards, there is no obvious entry/exit and no indication of how to find taxis, etc .... like a typical rail station would have. There are also no obvious lifts to get down to or from the lower rail levels - not ideal with heavy luggage. I got off the train from Salamanca and there were a lot of bewildered and irritated tourists with baggage. Come on RENFE - you can do better than this.

Horrible experience. The train was canceled or late. Hard to guess sine no info is displayed anywhere. Also no staff so there is no one to ask. The ticket purchase system is also very confusing and hard to use. I travel by train a lot in Europe and so far this is the worst existence I ever had. Such a big city should be ashamed of running such a bad system of transport. Big thanks to the locals living in Madrid that helped us and provided info to us. We managed to get a taxi and made the connection in time.

Agree with many other comments but the washrooms/toilets are a disaster for both men and women's. This requires a lot of attention as it is a disgusting mess and frustrating for commuters and travellers plus extremely unhygenic. Prince Pio get your services fixed and you will get five stars!

Sorry i speak in english. This was quite bad experience. I wanted to ask for a refund and it was so hard. I know my Spanish is still quite bad and I haven't spoken anything, the old woman in the Renfe office directly refused me "no ingles no ingles!" And then i said "yo hablo español también." Then when i tried to speak, she went outside of the counter, tought that she's going to help me. But she's going outside just to see the train coming!!! WHATT?!? She's not helping at all. I mean, if she can't speak English, she can ask for a favor to someone or open translator!!! It was so so so rude!!! Sorry to give you one star, because you deserve it!

you arrive here and you need a ticket. the desk can't make them, machines only for new tickets. there are 4 types of tickets machines and not all are ok if you don't have a metro personal card (with photo). the time it takes to try all and the first train has gone... than you try to see where to go before to use the ticket to enter: impossible, the only small screen is inside. if you are looking for a bus, and it's "darsena" even better... good luck
