Taco Bell Manor Reviews
There are so many dumpling places to choose from—do you go for value or for freshness? If you’re looking for the cheapest option, this isn’t the place. But if you want cleanliness and freshly made dumplings, this is the spot. Unlike some of the tourist traps in Chinatown, this place feels authentic. The dumplings are made right in front of you, packed with juicy fillings and rich flavors. The hardest decision is choosing between steamed or fried. We also ordered the fried rice, and it absolutely hit a home run—it was incredibly satisfying.
Finally, a spot in Manhattan that serves real handmade dumplings, no machine-made wrappers here! We ordered Three Fresh Meat with Shrimp Dumplings: Each one has a whole, juicy shrimp inside. The skin and filling are perfectly integrated—none of that "falling apart" nonsense. Pickled Bakchoi & Pork Dumplings: They even add pork lard bits for extra depth and aroma. Absolute game changer. Beef Noodles was also decent, nice portion of beef.
If my Grandma made dumplings this good I would have probably had a better relationship with her. Five stars all the way! My wife, son, and I loved it. We will be back! Bok yeah!!
This is one of the best dumpling spots I’ve ever tried! The dumplings are freshly made, with perfectly balanced flavors and very juicy fillings. The skin is soft but not too thick, and every bite feels homemade and authentic. The restaurant is clean and cozy, and the staff are very welcoming and attentive. You can tell they really care about quality and customer experience. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic dumplings. I’ll definitely be coming back!
This is my hometown flavor. I’m craving it for so long. Traditional northern Chinese food. in the past only can be eaten in special days or a holiday celebration. Manhattan Chinatown don’t have such cuisine for a long long time. i’m so happy they have it now.
One of the few places that truly everything on the menu was delicious. The flavors are signature and unique and prices are all affordable. The best part is the owner/daughter is the host so there is direct capitalist interest to make sure the customer is made happy. Will definitely return. Try the signature sichuan dumplings. They are flaky and soft dumplings in a deli is sweet sauce with just the right touch of spicy.
Food is good. Very small place but good atmosphere. We used 2 separate (4 and 2 )table. Because is hard to be seated for six person.
Omg the food is delicious fresh made to order and everyone so nice and attentive, my son loved the food and we will be back for sure. Thank you so much ♥️♥️
This place is amazing and 💯 percent worth your time. Service was impeccable and everyone spoke clear English. They also take credit cards while many other places around the same area is cash only. Soup and fried dumplings were so delicious. The shrimp and pork fried rice was the table’s favorite. They were very friendly and you can watch them make each dumpling by hand. Highly recommended.
Really delighted to try this brand new dumpling house that just opened in Chinatown, and it’s already a standout. Because it is a northern China specialty, I brought a friend visiting from Beijing—an actual northerner—and he immediately recognized the traditional techniques the kitchen is using. From the hand-rolled skins to the perfectly seasoned fillings, everything tastes authentic, comforting, and made with real craft. It’s rare to find a spot that stays so true to classic northern flavors, but this place nails it. A great addition to the neighborhood, and definitely worth the visit. Must try their sour cabbage dumplings!
Coincidentally, I came during their soft opening and tried the traditional handmade Chinese dumplings. They were very delicious and fresh, with a nice balance of meat and vegetables — very healthy. The beef noodles were also great. I’ll definitely come back when they officially open.
We tried the corn & chicken, soup dumplings, and the combo dumplings. All the food was excellent — our fave was the chicken dumpling. Beyond just great food, the staff were so lovely providing tips for the eating experience and prompt service. We would highly recommend!! (Plus they gave us a cute toy as a souvenir at the end)
Absolutely loved everything about Grandma’s Dumpling House! The food was delicious and full of flavor, the dumplings were perfectly made, and every dish felt fresh and comforting. The ambience was welcoming and cozy, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal. On top of that, the service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Definitely a place I’ll be happy to return to again!
The atmosphere feels so warm just like home. The food was yummy and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming—I would recommend 1000%
If you see a kitchen full of women who look like they’ve mastered the ancient art of the fold, you’re in the right place. This spot is spotless, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is "empty plate" good. The Highlights: Boiled Shrimp Dumplings: My absolute favorite. Silky, fresh, and gone in seconds. Fried Meat Dumplings: Perfectly crispy and savory. Soup Dumplings: Very tasty! The wrappers are a bit on the heavier side, but they’re sturdy enough to hold all that delicious broth. Totally worth the visit. I’ve attached a photo of my meal, which is just a clean, empty plate—because the evidence didn't last long enough for a "before" shot.
Very tasty and fresh. Recommending all the dumplings and fried dumplings

I really like the shrimp flavor with the spicy, vinegar and soy sauce. Here is so nice environment, bright and clean. I believe we will be here again and again once we are in Chinatown.

Amazing place! New York City finally has a restaurant with REAL DUMPLINGS!!! Everything tastes homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious
10/10 place! Such an amazing place to eat soup dumplings❤️
Today, I visited a dumpling restaurant that transported me to a quaint corner of China. Upon entering, the enticing aroma of freshly steamed dough enveloped me, evoking memories of cherished family dinners and Lunar New Year celebrations. The dumplings were exceptional. The skin possessed an exquisite Q 弹 texture, combining softness with a satisfying chew, reminiscent of the dumplings crafted by Northern Chinese families during the Spring Festival. Each dumpling appeared handmade with meticulous care, akin to the way grandparents fold 饺子 at the table while engaging in lively conversations. I indulged in the pork and chive dumplings, and the filling was delectable, bursting with flavor without being excessively oily. The chili oil exuded an authentic Chinese taste, not merely spicy, but layered with 香, 麻, 和辣 (aroma, numbing, and heat), a characteristic of Sichuan cuisine. The service was amiable, and the ambiance was cozy. The background played Chinese folk music softly, enhancing the overall immersive experience. If you seek delectable dumplings infused with genuine Chinese cultural essence, not merely in taste but also in spirit, this establishment is highly recommended. I intend to return for another visit.
This places is hand made dumplings. It tastes very delicious. The best dumplings and noodles I have try in New York City .
Pretty average experience. Dumplings are made to order so it can take a minute, it didn't help that they messed up our order. Even after they realized their mistake, people that came in after us got the same foods that we ordered. And then when we asked about it, they were rude with their response. Dumpling skins were thicker than expected for fresh made, flavor was unexceptional. Not sure why this place went viral. In the winter, the restaurant was cold and the bathroom was air conditioned. That part was unpleasant.
