Portions are healthy and the food is delicious. So good in fact, I forgot to take photos before writing this review. The service is quick and the staff friendly, the location is relatively spacious and nothing negative stands out or comes to mind. This is my "go to" Chinese restaurant in the Manteca/Lathrop area.

This place by far best place in Manteca. Super clean great big portions. All the food is fresh. Vegetables cooked just right. The Mongolian beef is actually spicy. Most places don't make it right. This place perfects it. Thank you for the great food I will definitely be back..

We were delightfully surprised at how good the food was at Kitty's Kitchen. I needed to provide dinner for a group of ladies and everyone raved about the food. We loved the fried green beans, fried pot stickers and the lemon chicken. The rice wasn't soggy or too dry. The meat dishes were generous with the amount of meat. Kitty added a free item to our order which was a wonderful gesture. Kitty has gained new customers due to the wonderful food she provided.

The food was good, at excellent prices. Two vegans ate to satiation for under twenty dollars. The server was very knowledgeable and helpful. I'm happy to have found such a rad place for vegan food in Manteca. I highly recommend the place and I will be going back again.

We used to live right around the corner from these guys and ate there all the time. It's been a couple of years, but the food and the service was spectacular!

Good Asian food in a very clean and nice place are hard to come by in small cities, but this is the place that changes all that. I have found this place as my new favorite Asian/American restaurant. They serve both Asian dishes as well as American dishes. There food is fresh and with lots of flavor. They business owners are very people friendly and treat their customers like family. The business is very clean and elegant, and offers a decent amount of seating for a group dinner. A big plus as well is they have large television to watch sports. Best Chinese food hands down! I love ordering and being able to pick up my food, fresh, within 25 minutes. Their orange chicken is delicious, chow mein is fantastic Do yourself a favor and order from here.

I really enjoy all the food. We eat here several times a month and I have never had a bad meal. The customer service is top notch also very nice people. I definitely recommend.

This place...is amazingly delish. The food wasn't greasy or dry, just perfect! Sweet environment. Good amount of food and they don't give you an attitude for asking for chop sticks. I will come back here for sure.

We have been loyal to another Chinese food place in Lathrop but noticed that the food quality there was going down. We heard about this place and like everyone else was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly and the food was clean, well balanced and price perfectly. It took only a few minutes and all the entrée were out. A plus would be that they do you MSG in anything. We will be back!

I love Kitty's Kitchen! I've tried some of the other Chinese restaurants and always go back to Kitty's.I haven't tried everything on the menu, but so far everything I have tried is good. My favorite is their Wonton soup! It's great on a cold evening!! 👍

We were visiting Great Wolf Lodge and decided to explore dinner options outside of the hotel. We chose Kittys Kitchen because the reviews were great. It’s about a 10 minute drive from the hotel but so worth it. The gentleman working, who I presume is the owner was very friendly. There were 6 of us total (2 adults,4 kids) We’re not from the area and not used to the heat. We walked in very red in the face and obviously hot…right away they got us all iced waters. Even the water was good, I’m pretty sure it was filtered water. We ordered 2 appetizers and 6 dishes. The food came very fast. It was all super delicious. The kids loved the egg rolls, chow mein and orange chicken. My favorite was the Salt & Pepper pork chop. It has to be the best Chinese food I’ve had. The gentleman went above and beyond to accommodate for us. We mentioned that we ordered a lot of food so that we could take it back to the hotel later. As he packed up our food for us he very kindly offered to include paper plates and utensils. In this economy that small gesture was greatly appreciated. I would Highly recommend Kittys Kitchen because the food and service was superb.

The food is good. The owner is friendly, nice and respectful. I accidentally ordered online an appetizer of won ton, when I really wanted pot stickers . When i picked up the order, she asked me if I wanted them with cream. I said yes not realizing what she was talking about. She gave me a free order of the cream filled ones. This was the first time I tried them and they are delicious 😋 both with and without cream! I will return to try the pot stickers. Mongolia beef and sweet and sour chicken are delicious!

First time trying this place and the food and portions are great. The food is tasty and the price is reasonable for the amount of food they serve you. I ordered a combination plate and was only able to eat half of the plate. Took the rest home to enjoy it later. Definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely the best Chinese food! Wayne and kitty are such kind people. The food is always hot & fresh and service is great. We love salt and pepper fish, coconut shrimp, House chow mein, house fried rice, orange chicken and pot stickers. When you have a cold and need some soup to clear you up the hoyle n sour soup is perfect.

We usually save grabbing Chinese food for when we’re in the Bay Area but decided to give it a try tonight at Kitty’s Kitchen in Manteca. The food was excellent! We ordered a lot of different items. The Mongolian beef is so delicious and so was everything else. Sweet-and-sour pork, pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, deep fried shrimp, coconut shrimp, and egg rolls! All delicious and fresh tasting. Portions we plenty. We were greeted very warmly and the staff was helpful when picking our choices for dinner. We are so pleased to have found a great place and not have to drive over the hill. We will definitely be back! A must try!

We go here occasionally since their food is most edible. It is not greasy like most of the other local Chinese Restaurants. Kitty and family are quick and she is really great at seasoning the heat just right. Our Kung Pao Chicken was spot on. Their own Chow Mein is good but this time had slightly too much Soy Sauce for my wife's liking. The 8 piece Fried Chicken was and is always excellent. We go here or take out maybe 2x a month. (5 minutes from home.)

Not only do they have great Chines food, they also have a good variety of American dishes. The family can all order what they like. Kids can still get a burger or grilled cheese; while the folks can get Tomato beef over steamed rice, yum!!

An easy spot to miss (driven by many times without ever realizing it was there), but absolutely worth the stop. For a small space, they have a decent amount of dining space, but I have only gotten take out. Portions are beyond generous and the dishes are all quite good. Something as simple as fried rice and chow mein often become bland and unexciting,though here both are flavorful and satisfying. Mongolian beef is delicious, though my favorite was actually the broccoli chicken. We have all had broccoli beef, and this is the exact same dish but with chicken swapped for beef, and it's a surprisingly pleasing new spin on a classic.

Nice selection on their menu.I should have taken a picture to share but I was hoping for a to-go menu that I would have posted. Our server said that they are being reprinted with some new selections to try. By the way, the servers are very nice. We started our meal with their Hot & Sour Soup. I really liked it. The soup was a little thicker than others I have tried but had a really nice flavor and just the right amount of heat. It could be a meal for a person if they just wanted soup. It was full of flavor and hearty. We all ordered their combination meal. This allows a person to choose 2 items and comes with Fried Rice (Steamed Rice if you want) along with Chow Mein. The entree selections range from things like Sweet & Sour Chicken or Pork, Lemon Chicken, Mongolian Beef (Chicken), Beef(Chicken) & Broccoli as examples (to many to list). Nice sized meal for sure. That's one thing we learned .. if no one is there .. food is not fresh. So my Hubby was driving n saw this place n Google it .. positive reviews. We were in parking lot .. a group just left n they have customers. We ordered Chicken curry n he ordered Teriyaki chicken. Very good n tasty. Place is nicely decorated .. walls are Gray .. unusual for Chinese restaurant . Service attentive. We met the Owners. He was funny .. I work for my wife :). Met the wife .. shes the Chef. Very Friendly couple Delightful experience with themn will be back

I am thankful they're still around. I've already gotten take out from them twice on this trip and will no doubt get more before the trip is over. Give them a try.

This is a cute little place. Portions are on par for what I expect (pretty generous). Flavor was just ok. Didn't taste bad, but lacked depth. Staff was friendly and knew many customers by first name, which I found endearing.

Very hard to communicate when ordering over the phone. Miscommunication led to us ordering too much food. They refused to help us because we had already paid. Orange chicken was better than Panda Express.

Portions are large. The food was good. Chicken salad wasn't a good choice. Was hoping it was like Chinese chicken salad in San Francisco. Chicken tastes a bit funny in my opinion. Both the salad and the garlic sauce chicken. The fried rice was good. I will be back to try the rest of the menu before I change my rating.

this had been my absolute favorite spot since moving to norcal, when I lived in Manteca, this was the only place that i ordered from because i loved their coconut shrimp and chow mein. Unfortunately, since the restaurant was sold, i've not been having the best of luck with their food. this last time being the worst to the point where pretty much all the food was thrown away. The shrimp in the chow mein was overcooked and honestly tasted old, the food in general was less flavorful and as others have mentioned, now you get more veggies/onion and sauce than meats when ordering, the coconut shrimp is still good thankfully, but not sure if it would be worth the stop just for that :( Wishing Kitty and gang well, but I'm also wishing they'd come back.

To start with, the rice and chow main tasted like it has been under a warmer way passed eating. The rice was brown and socked in soy sauce. The garlic chicken was bounced battred in flour/egg to cover the fact that they cut the chicken brest in half. The up side was the mixed vegetables was fresh and wet and although the foil chicken was cut and very wet, that was the best part of this meal. I will not be returning.

My husband likes sweet and sour pork, the sause was good. But the pork (bits) and batter that covers the pork was over cooked. Hard as rocks. Mongolian beef sauce was watery. Chow mien was ok

I got my food real quick. I ate my food. Of course. The food was okay. It wasn't that bad. Overall, I had a bad experience mainly with my wife's food. By the time my daughter and I finished our food, the food barely got there.

My husband and I tried Kitty's for the 1st time and we will not be going back.He had the beef and broccoli and the cashew chicken and he didn't care for either it tastes like the meet is steamed no flavor. They have the worst fried rice we have ever tried. How sad what happened to the good old fashioned Chinese food. No pride in serving food that makes you want to go back.

Food tasted underwhelming, I got sweet and sour with pork combination plate. The aroma tasted like someone's perfume. But when I get to the noddles let me tell you, I DID NOT expect a strand of Hair. Disgusting

I was throughly enjoying the soup until i found a small bug in it.. naturally i was grossed out but decided to let it slide and just remove the veggies. After about another 2 minutes of eating i found another in the broth so i gave it up.😔 i know its barely noticeable in the photos. disappointed bc the soup tasted good. Please check your food when ordering.

Based on the good reviews, we decided to try this place. I rarely take the trouble to post a full review unless a place is particularly good or horribly bad, this is one of the latter sadly. The orange chicken was amazingly bad. It was soggy, over fried, and had really no taste to speak of. Served in some red sauce that had no flavor, it had no vegetables, no redeeming qualities. We had ordered takeout and literally had to trash it at the 7-11 within 10 minutes of receiving it because it was so bad. The other two dishes we ordered were edible but really not very good as Chinese dishes go - the ginger chicken had large chunks of unpeeled ginger, but the chicken itself had a raw flavor. I didn’t try the egg flower soup, but we tossed half of it too. We paid over $20 for the disastrous meal to go. I grew up in east Asia and can cook fairly authentic Chinese dishes - from that perspective I can say that the meals served here are not at all worth ordering. I’m really confused by all the good reviews - it has to be either made by friends or just fake accounts.

I am not sure what happened to the food quality at this restuarant. I have orded from Kitty's before and the food was great. However this time was much different. The food was awful. It looked and tasted like the food cartons were pre-made and placed in a microwave for a quick heat up. I suspect this is the case because the tops of the cartons were taped closed and firmly packed. The food was warm at best, it all had a deep brown color, and it all tasted the same. We ended throwing it away. That was a waste of $40! I am not sure what happened, but I know I will not be going back.

Go elsewhere. Friendly staff, but the nastiest Chinese food I have ever eaten. Just awful, $40 in the garbage. The sesame chicken had a strange flavor and the general’s chicken was burnt with flavorless dry fried rice.

Not the same Kitty's... Haven't ordered from here since they changed owners and was not impressed. Ordered 6 items for $89. The beef and broccoli was bland, the salt and pepper beef was also but it was made with a tempura batter which I found odd and the General chicken texture was dried out as if the meat was freezer burned or reheated. I can deal with lack of flavor but to use poor quality ingredients is a choice that was made and we won't be back.

We Loved the White Peony in Tracy and it has been so hard to find anything that came close to them. This was very bland

Way too expensive. $15 for one side? I'm good. They don't even have combo plates available anymore, at least ordering for delivery. I miss Silver Chopsticks and I'm assuming this place raised prices to not fall into the same fate. Really sad. Stockton has tons of places with combo plates for like $10 or less. Blows my mind.

My husband, my 2 year old daughter and I went to eat lunch. My husband and my daughter have their food. I got egg rolls for appetizer and I did order shrimp egg foo Yung. It was taking way too long about 30 minutes or more. I wanted to take to go and when I'm was eating my food. The sauce was not a lots and I put the sauce for egg foo Yung. It does taste very dry. I didn't have a good lunch for today. I will not be returning to the restaurant. 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢

I sadly won't be eating here again. I haven't had this place in years, and was surprised at how downhill it went. The meat was absolutely awful, and sadly not edible. The broccoli beef being the top worst. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews, and I apologize to those who made the food, but this was really bad.

I don't know what happened but ever since the new owners took over, the food has changed so much. The soup is really bad and the taste and portion size of the food has changed drastically. It's a shame, my family and I loved this place and now we have to find somewhere else to go

They have all new cooks and recipes, it's not fair that they inherit Kitty's great reviews. Their new food is definitely of lesser quality. It's now a location that gives about 3 pieces of meat per entree item of choice. Heavily sauced a lot of huge chunks of onion and very little of any other vegetable worth eating. Their rice is now soy sauce colored and tastes like oyster sauce. It used to look like authentic pork and veggie fried rice. Now they suck. That sucks. I am not Asian or Chinese but I know for a fact that food sucks 😞 😔 I know good food and quality is why I do my reviews however this place went from a 5 star Chinese takeout location to 1 star! Sucks for y'all Manteca. Y'all sucked either way now y'all just suck more. Losers. Find better food. This place don't deserve the business. Their quality sucks and is less. Before kitty's served such portions that our dinner plates would last us 2 days, now I finished my order in one sitting and wasn't even filled up (combination plates now lacking huge amount of protein that Kitty's previous owners would serve, these new owners must be cheap greedy stingy and tight to customers. You get what you pay. Don't give them your dollar. Force them to either close or re sale because their food is not worth running a restaurant. Change your name as well maybe to Chinese food to go ⭐ not kitty's because you are not longer Kitty's, you now suck and make the old name look bad as you drag it down with your lesser quality food and taste. We both thought it'd have more than 2 shrimp conveniently placed directly right on top when you open the container. Size of plates/amount of food is not consistent. We received more this time than when we returned for a second time. Chow mein is definitely better the next day. My husband and daughter both said it looked like spaghetti noodles. Chow mein does not have a lot of vegetables at all. I'd like more cabbage and bean sprouts honestly don't remember tasting any at all. Rice was ok could have more bbq pork. Ordered beef broccoli and the square where it comes was 90% broccoli and only 10% beef, not enough beef. When I purchased Mongolian beef it was again mostly only bell pepper, onion, and carrots, very little beef. Not fair to skimp customers on beef.

Kung pao chicken portion was sooooo small I can’t believe it was 15$ for a little scoop. All my items even the soup lacked any kind of flavor! I can’t believe I had to add SALT!!! To Chinese food! 100% never order from here again it’s a waste of money and time and a disrespect to my stomach and taste buds!!!

Go elsewhere. Friendly staff, but the nastiest Chinese food I have ever eaten. Just awful, $40 in the garbage. The sesame chicken had a strange flavor and the general’s chicken was burnt with flavorless dry fried rice.
