DQ Grill & Chill Marfa Reviews
I had a single burger in fries here. Pretty standard fast food. The veggies were very fresh and the burger was OK. I went through the drive-through and the wait was very reasonable. Pretty much just what I expected.
Love the blizzards, was right across from where I was staying for my short term work assignment in Marfa. Tried a burger and onion rings one night just because. I've had some not great onion rings in my day and let's just say I won't be doing that again (burgers seem to be a mainstay in Marfa restaurants. If you want that try someplace else. Stick to the Blizzards.
Nice and clean. Friendly server. I had points for free onion rings and when I got to the car they were cold. My partner ordered a pumpkin pie blizzard with no graham cracker chunks and it came with graham cracker chunks in it. The server did repeat the order back to us.
Workers all looked and acted like they were no older than about 14. First girl couldn't figure out how to work the computer to take my order and at no point acknowledged me until finally another girl came over who tried to take my order while also listening for someone in the drive through which left me standing there awkwardly trying to figure out if she was ready to take my order or not. Also didn't flip my blizzard unless you count tipping it over on the table while trying to set it down.
Dairy Queen at this location is definitely not what it used to be. I ordered three meals, with a medium and small blizzard. At approximately $52 I was unfortunately disappointed with the all of it. The food was partially cold and not worth the price for sure.
Unwelcoming young girl dressed out of uniform in a red dirty T shirt with a conceited attitude, The food was served fast, not bad nor good. Good location, fast to grab some food and get back on the road. Now I see why people recommend driving an additional 25 miles to Alpine.
I asked why this looks nothing like the picture and she “it cause we portion it out”. I get that but if your having a food shortage then drop the prices or put a notice up or change the advertised picture of the taco salad. I read a lot of the bad reviews and from experience I can say this-the poor attitudes of the employees come from poor leadership. At not only the management level but ultimately at the ownership level.
Poor everything I asked for cheese sauce with a chicken basket and I got gravy I asked for onion rings I got fries I asked for taco sauce I did not get it and my food was cold
Lazy employees that close the store whenever they feel like closing. Don't care what the store hours say it seems like.
Horrible customer service waited 30 minutes to get our full order and all we ordered was ice cream! Bathroom’s were filthy and no soap!! Told an employee and she did nothing! Do NOT recommend.
Just paid $18 for two #1s in Alpine TX. Waited 20 minutes for our order that was wrong once we finally got it and one of the burgers was so cold the cheese wasn’t even melted. We couldn’t eat it. We would have taken it back, but we have an eight hour drive ahead of us and do t have another 20 minutes to wait. There was one other person in the restaurant and it was early so it wasn’t that they were busy. I wish I could give this no stars.
