Togo's Martinez Reviews
We stopped by to enjoy sandwiches for dinner. We definitely made the right choice. The staff did a great job getting our orders correct. We will definitely be back.
Delicious, so much better than subway. Quick, convenient, & fresh. I really enjoyed this one.
New chicken cheesesteak purchased at this Togos, which was also my first visit to this Martinez Togos. 1) Super duper customer service. 2) The new chicken cheese steak was at least as good as The CheeseSteak Shop ones. 3) Going back right now to get another one. Will take a photo this time and post later. 4) Regarding my photo, I ordered mine w/o the cheese or mayo chipotle sauce so you won't see that in my photo. 5) Sauteed mushrooms and sweet red peppers. Fresh red onions added right before the oven. Comes out awesome..everything carmelized / reduced and perfectly blended. 6) They have a Coke Freestyle machine. Nuf said.
Love me some Togos! I typically try to come here once a month only once had a sandwich that was a little below par at this location (Martinez). I try to come to this location (Martinez) rather than downtown Pleasant Hill since I've had a few below par sandwiches made there at the Pleasant Hill location (not bad but below par). Usually they don't skimp on meat and toppings, and when it comes to their Pastrami, they don't give me all fat. It's clean, fast and they employees are usually nice.
Excellent efficient staff. Always provides excellent customer service and everyone always has a smile on their face.
From MA originally, been traveling the country for work for a few years. I have never found an Italian sub close to like home till now. Nearly perfect except the sauce, I didn't get any, I took it home and used Italian dressing. Baked, fresh authentic meats and cheese. Very happy I found this place. Staff was super friendly and courteous. Store was clean and neat.
Pastrami Rueben was exactly as expected. Tasted perfect! Happy with my selection. Highly recommended
I stopped in for a sandwich and was warmly received by the staff. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and made to feel welcome. The store was extremely clean and tidy. I got the Turkey, Salami, cheddar sandwich. It was delicious. The sandwich was very satisfying with fresh ingredients. Thanks so much for a great visit and sandwich. Hope to be back soon.. I highly recommend this location for its customer service and quality ingredients!!!!
I tried the new pastrami French dip with added onions and peppercinis and it was absolutely delicious. The service was nice, the workers were friendly, and made really good sandwiches. Plus they had AC on inside which was a nice relief from the heat.
Discovered Pinole location had closed, SO UPSET!!! Drove to the closest store in Martinez, and found same friendly, professional staff…VERY clean surroundings, ordered my favorite: Asian chicken salad wrapped in spinach tortilla, dressing on the side…prepared exactly as I ordered, DELICIOUS ❣️
I've been wanting a Togo's sandwich for a while now. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and it was so delicious the bread was soft and there was plenty of meat. I can't wait until the new location near my home us completed.
They were slow today. During busy times they should use both registers to ring people up. I had to wait for them to ring me up after my sandwich was already ready. Sandwich tasted good though.
I freakin love Togos. If you ever feel like one of their sandwiches you cant go wrong here. Plus they are right next to Chase and Lucky's if you need to get some quick grocery shopping done.
Has gotten worse with each Visit over the last six months. Close early make soggy sandwiches and lousy customer service attitude
I just paid $18 for a large sandwich. Raise the prices. Make everything a paid extra. And ask for a tip?!?! That was the last time I ever eat here and it’s unfortunate because the food is pretty good.
I have been going to this location for decades. Over the last year they have declined. The quality of the sandwich is still good.... when they get the order right. I often have to pull off ingredients that I didn't request or asked to not have added. Yesterday I ordered two sandwiches, a regular and a large. When I got home I found that they gave me two regulars. I called and the phone went straight to voicemail. I asked for a call back and never heard back from anyone.
I love Togo's, but paying almost $17 for two regular size sandwiches without drinks or chips is a bit much. The sourdough bread was stale and very dry, like cheap rolls you can buy at a grocery store. Hardly any meat on the #24 turkey and avocado. I like that you can order online, but probably won't be going back.
First off not sure if ownership has changed. Previous staff was super friendly. This staff are all men and can hardly communicate. I spent nearly twenty dollars on a hot pastrami and as you can see in the picture it was a JOKE. When I took the bag from the server I instantly know it was light... I immediately opened the bag to inspect the sandwich. WHERE WAS THE PASTRAMI??? Plus the bread tasted like it was from Subway which I do not go to. I was visibly shook, the employees saw my body language and facial expressions and said nothing, in fact they were distant and ignored me. As if they know they were robbing me. This used to be a real sandwich and now it's a joke. If you want a sandwich under 20.00 dollars go to LUCIAS in pleasant Hill! Literally a God send best sandwich in the area! Togo's/at least this location is a joke DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. Thank me later Jason
Just had a regular pastrami sandwich my normal order . Something definitely off with this place now . Every bite I took I was pulling out long pieces of ligament as well as fat . Complete disappointment . I've eaten a togos all my life never had this happen before. Completely inedible. I tossed the uneaten portion up on the counter explaining nothing but ligament and fat . Guy just looked at me with dumb look. Never going back. Don't know how they intend on surviving with this type of quality. No care , 17$ down the drain .
Absolute horrible business practice! After spending $13.06 on a friggin sandwich, hand the girl $20.05 , only had a nickel in change on me, so instead of letting me slide on a penny and just giving me $7.00 back, I had to go all the way back to my car to get a penny to keep from getting .99 in Chang back. Pathetic!
