Just happened upon this place and it’s one of the happiest accidents of my life. BEST TACOS we’ve ever had. A++++. And for a great price. The wait staff was friendly. 10/10 will come back next time we visit Charlottesville

Yo nomás he ido una vez y me encantó el lugar por la cultura que tienen lugar, yo nunca he ido a Honduras, pero sentí que estaban en Honduras esa sentada en el ciruelo. Y para mí, su cultura del lugar, hablo por sí mismo!

Hoy fuimos con mi amiga a comer, la Comida está delicioso les recomiendo que prueben el pollo con tajadas 😋😋 y la persona que nos atendió muy amable y honrado.

Went there before our dance class at the studio a few doors down. Lovely cheerful service and tasty hearty food. We got some baleadas (my favorite), chicharron, savory tamales, and a healthy serving of the best guacamole I've had in a long time. Also a shoutout to some perfectly crispy fried yucca. A note that this is Honduran food, don't expect Quesedillas and Fajitas--but what you get is super satisfying. We will be back!

$23 (with 20% tip) for two BIG bellied boys puts this place in my Top 3 Cheapest Charlottesville category. The horchata was great, if slightly sweet. The pupusas (my vegan rendition included cabbage, and avocado) were well flavored, with the shining element being the cabbage, peppered and not vinegary, a gem in our world. The atmosphere was odd, with two tvs blaring for my attention, to the point that I found myself lost in my conversation turning back to them. Overall, great price, unique food, and an ~interesting~ atmosphere.

No dejen de degustar la Sopa de Gallina de este lugar. Sencillamente EXCELENTE. Todo lo demás, normal. La atención un tanto lenta y algo costoso para el tipo de lugar.

Overall, this place was a good intro to Honduran cuisine. Great customer service, clean dining area, and good food. Our chicken was a bit dry and the rolled tacos were slightly overcooked but other than that, the food was tasty!

Pedí una parrillada para llevar y me dijeron que estaría en 30 minutos supe que era mucho tiempo pero cuando me la dieron y vi la porción disque para 3 personas y por $70 es demasiado. una porción de arroz y frijol y tajadas simples sin sabor, dos piezas de pollo arrebatados mal frito, un contenedor de dos onzas de aderezo me sentí estafada. nada más que decir

El pollo con tajadas y las pupusas mixtas muy ricas! Pero las de Queso son lo peor en provado ! El queso parece caucho no se podía ni comer , el servicio regularmente es aceptable! Pero hoy fue terrible ! Le pedimos unos aderezos a la mesera jamás los llevó, queríamos más bebidas nunca aparecieron ninguna de las Dos ! Éramos los únicos clientes . Nos tuvimos que levantar de la mesa a traer más bebidas porque la mesera estaba ocupadisima viendo el celular! Aparte se molestó cuando le dije que las pupusas de queso estaban feas ! Aún así la pague. Espero que mejoren el servicio y el queso!

En el menu tienen un precio y al cobrar ponen uno mas alto, dijeron que porque la registradora tiene los precios mas altos y no los pueden arreglar al precio del menu!!!! Les dije que era ILEGAL tener differente precio en el menu que en la registradora al cobrar. Revisen sus cuentas antes de ordenar! Que pesar los tamales son ricos!! Be aware!!! They have lower prices in the menu and then when you pay the cashier charge you higher price!! The tamales in the menu are 1.95!! And they have 2.25 in the cash register. I like the tamales they are really good! Just Be careful with what they charge!!

First time in my life that I didn’t finish or save my restaurant food for later. Ordered pickup, was told it would be 20 minutes. After waiting an hour, got my food. Ordered the special. The “sausage” was a hot dog. The chicken was dry and thin. The “steak” was some thin burnt beef. The rice tasted like microwave rice. This is clearly a hang out spot for their community, and if you’re not one of them, expect to be treated poorly.
