Chicken Brasa Miami Reviews
Very good food in general, great flavor, the mojo that they put on the exquisite chicken and rice with corn very good, also everything freshly made. The place is clean and looks very beautiful. Her very attentive, professional dependents, Lizzy attended us, very nice.
We ordered the rotisserie chicken expecting the classic Venezuelan-style flavor, and it was quite good. However, the mojo sauce, which was described as Venezuelan, felt a bit distant from the original. There’s another restaurant in Miami that captures that authentic taste more closely, though this one remains a solid option overall. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed. Our waiter, Luis, provided excellent service—he was attentive, clearly explained the menu and the process, and was genuinely helpful throughout our meal. As an appetizer, we tried the pork belly. Like in many “polleras,” the fatty part wasn’t crispy; it was simply pan-cooked on both sides. It wasn’t particularly worth it for the portion and the price. On the brighter side, the shredded salad was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The fried yuca was also excellent, especially when paired with the guasacaca that Luis kindly brought us upon request. Luis also recommended a great Tempranillo wine, which paired beautifully with our meal. Overall, Dando La Brasa is a very good place to eat, offering a wide variety of dishes. I specifically came for the chicken to relive the traditional Venezuelan “pollera” experience, and while it’s not exactly the same, it was still quite enjoyable. The wait time on a Saturday at noon was about ten minutes, which I found perfectly reasonable.
I found Dando la Brasa to be a very interesting and well-executed restaurant, especially appealing for lunch. We opted for the midday menu, which I strongly recommend for its excellent value for money. To start, we enjoyed a quarter rotisserie chicken, perfectly cooked and juicy, served with white rice, black beans, and a flavorful Peruvian-style chicken mojo. We also added a soup, which was comforting and genuinely very good—an ideal complement to the meal. We then tried the socarrat with chicken, accompanied by maduros and cheese. The dish was satisfying and well balanced, offering hearty flavors without feeling heavy. To drink, we had Estrella Damm Inedit, the beer created by Ferran Adrià, which paired beautifully with the food and was, quite simply, delicious. Overall, the service was warm and attentive, with the added comfort of being assisted in Spanish, which made the experience even more pleasant. I also recommend noting the convenient parking, a real plus in Miami.
Such a good lunch/dinner at Dando la Brassa! The flavor of the rotisserie is the result of the amazing seasoning. The sides had a perfect size to go next to tye chicken. BIG shoutout to our server, Gredxander, who was very attentive and made recommendations since it was our first time there.. The atmosphere was cool, good for dates or family get together. We will definitely be back!
Excellent drinks and food. We enjoyed the croquetas, ceviche traditional, pollo a la brasa y arroz con choclo. We also loved the guayabana (soursop) and Cocolemonade. Would definitely come again and recommend you include in your next visit to the area. Luis provided excellent recommendations and customer service.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, truly satisfying my taste buds. The service was fantastic—Mariangela was especially professional, attentive to detail, and provided excellent customer care. The establishment was clean and inviting, creating a pleasant dining environment. Initially, the music volume was quite high, but when I mentioned it, they quickly lowered it, which contributed positively to the ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a great meal and attentive service.
The chicken was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor, making it a true highlight of our meal. The chicharrón starter was magnificent, perfectly crispy and rich. Our waitress Juliana was very attentive and incredibly kind, always making sure we were comfortable. The overall experience was fantastic—definitely a place to return and recommend to others.
Amazing Latin American foods! We tried garlic chicken wings and the sauce was bravos! Picanha services two sides, grilled Vegi & white rice with choclo, believe it or not I’m an Asian & I can tell you that rice cooked extremely well, fluffy smoky flavor!! Every bite you taste on the dishes, it filled with wood charcoal taste, so amazingly delicious!!!
This places owes us absolutely nothing. The smell of the chicken fills your nose as you enter the establishment. We were seated quickly and never left unattended by our absolutely amazing server Angie! I opted for the garlic mojo for my chicken which was exceptional! The only chicken I’ve tasted that compares was during my time in Cali Colombia! The flavor bomb that is the chicken lasagna, was insane!! If ever you have the opportunity to dine here, by all means, do so!
Very good restaurant. The menu is great and very well served. The waitstaff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Marianangeles, Lizzy, Angie and Juliana are very nice. The restaurant also has 2 other menus. The lunch menu from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, and the happy hour menu from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Lunch dishes have good size, and come with 2 sides. In addition, the lunch includes vegetable broth. In general the flavor of the food is delicious! I loved the ceviche!!!
The food was amazing! Best BBQ ever. We were served by Angie and she was so nice too!! We were glad to find this place for our Miami trip and enjoyed our dinner so much. Definitely recommend this place!
We had a great experience from the moment we arrived! Gredxander was our server, and he was super friendly and explained the menu really well. We ordered two half chickens with two sides each (yuca frita, french fries, maduros, and coleslaw) — everything was delicious! We tried the ajo and aji amarillo sauces, both were amazing. For dessert, we had the tres leches, definitely the perfect way to finish our meal. The atmosphere was nice, the service was great, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place!
The food was amazing! Loved the Ceviche and the rotisserie chicken! It was very flavorful and juicy! Alesander was very attentive and took his time to go over the menu. We will be back!
The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. I tried the Miami Spice menu, and it was an excellent value—well worth it for both the quality and variety offered. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The price was very reasonable for the experience, and I truly can’t complain. Not to mention, our waitress Julieta was truly amazing—warm, attentive, and extremely professional. The overall ambiance and service complemented the meal perfectly, making it a memorable dining experience.
Big big fan of their Rotisserie Chicken and the Venezuelan mojo.. also they have great options for Lunch specials, like the Picanha Bowl. Also, love that they offer a complimentary soup with any lunch special. Oh! And the coffee and dessert are great too. 👌🏼our servers Mariangelica and Luis took great care of us. Update: shout out to Gredxander! Amazing service!
Gredxander made our experience even more phenomenal. It’s great coming back 2.5 years later and the food quality hasn’t changed a bit. Thank you!

Fabulous cuisine! Awesome vibe! Friendly service…and recommendations for what to do in Miami. It was a perfect first-time introduction to the city and culture!
Gredxander made our experience even more phenomenal. It’s great coming back 2.5 years later and the food quality hasn’t changed a bit. Thank you!
Excellent place to try Latin American food. This time, we ordered a mixed grill with Colombian, Venezuelan, and Peruvian flavors, and everything was great. The price matches the quality of the service.
Literally some of the best chicken - juiciest wood fired - food is top top notch. Service to match. We were here twice as once was not enough.
My wife and I have walked past Dando La Brasa countless times, always curious but never quite going in. Today we finally decided to give it a try, and it was one of the best decisions we've made! The 1/2 chicken a la brasa was the star of the show—juicy and incredibly flavorful. The sides of fried yuca and maduros with cheese were equally delicious. We also appreciated the freshness of the Hearts of Palms salad. Our host, Gredxander, was wonderful and truly enhanced our dining experience. This is a place we will be returning to, and we can't recommend it enough!
Food was spectacular, but what worth my wild was lizzy excellent service. Her energy and knowledge on the menu was perfect. Joseph was also very helpful filling up our waters extremely fast. 10/10
VALENTINA IS DA BEST SERVER EVER . She always smiles, and it was my first time she explained each food 🥘. That was a fantastic experience cause of our server Valentina . Atmosphere is good , portions are right, restaurant and kitchen clean . Taste was one of the best. I d recommend dando la brasa to everyone .
gredxander and alesander were both incredibly nice servers . the food was sooooooo good. the mac and chick was AMAZING Hands down the best pasta ive ever had. the servers were so sweet and attentive. 11/10 would recommend totally totally worth it.
The food was delicious, especially the rotisserie chicken. The service was also great! Our server, Mariangel, helped make our experience wonderful. We would definitely be back!
What’s delightful experience! Our server MariaAngeles was so attentive and paced the meal perfectly. The best pork belly we have ever, had.the chicken and skirt steak were done perfectly. The desserts were delicious especially the Basque cheesecake. A wonderful dinner complimented by excellent service.
Amazing food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere. Everything was excellent. It was my first time here and I had a great experience from start to finish. Our server, Gredxander, was super friendly and made us feel very welcome. I’d absolutely recommend this place if you want good food and a great time with whoever you come with.
Delicious food every time. We come here often and always leave happy. The rotisserie chicken is a must-try. Excellent service from Mariangelis as well. Highly recommended.
This quaint yet hip little spot was within walking distance of our hotel. We were completely unprepared for the fabulous experience. Removed from the trendy section of town it is a diamond in the rough. I can not say enough about the incredible combinations of flavors, the service, and the atmosphere. Specifically Luis was amazing and the rest of the staff was a supporting chorus.
We wanted to try Peruvian food and were absolutely starving after a full day exploring the city. We spotted this restaurant on Google while heading back from downtown and almost missed it after taking a wrong turn—but we’re so glad we didn’t give up. The food was abundant and delicious. We had never tried palm hearts before, and the palm hearts salad is now a new favorite. We ordered two different chicken dishes, and both were excellent. While there are no dedicated vegan entrées, the vegan in our group definitely did not go hungry. The service was friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made the experience even better.
My dad and I were visiting Miami from the west coast and when looking for a place to eat the pictures of the food alone convinced me. Let me tell you if you must eat in Miami once this place would be a very strong choice. The food was exquisite, cooked perfectly, and the service was even better. Our server, Mariangeles, was very kind and helpful, and she gave suggestions to us since we were the visitors and wanted to have what the workers considered best. 10/10 come to Miami
I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Every dish tasted fresh and full of flavor. But what really made the visit stand out was the service. Our waitress, Juliana, was exceptional. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. She checked on us often without being intrusive, gave great recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her professionalism and positive attitude made our meal even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for great food and outstanding service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend—and ask for Juliana!
Atmosphere was a total vibe and service was great and timely. Went in for dinner, they had a DJ playing very good music. Drinks were AMAZING, and the food was TOP TIER! We had the oxtails and butter beans and curry goat. We will definitely go back next time we visit. We had the plantain bites with snapper as an appetizer. I highly recommend it!
We had an incredible dining experience at this Peruvian and Venezuelan restaurant! Our server, Luis, was fantastic—kind, knowledgeable, and patient in explaining each dish to us. We ordered ceviche, tuna tartare, carpaccio, ribeye, rotisserie chicken, and short rib soup, and every bite was amazing. The flavors were fresh, bold, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was just as impressive—clean, stylish, and welcoming. From the service to the food and decor, everything was top-notch. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Excellent experience. Mariángeles provided outstanding service, very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious; I ordered the chicken lasagna and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.
Nice place for a great dinner. Wanted a place a group of us could talk and have good food and this place delivered on all aspects. The service was great and I had if not the best roasted chicken I have has it was close Also had 2 different evasions of the sangria and that did not disappoint.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant, thanks in large part to Juliana's outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, she was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Her knowledge of the menu and thoughtful recommendations made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. This place truly stands out not just for its amazing cuisine but also for the exceptional hospitality. Thank you, Juliana, for making our visit unforgettable!
The food was great and Mariangeles provided outstanding service. Couldn’t be better. You need to try this place: The rotisserie chicken, grilled vegetable, red cabbage Cole slaw with Japanese mayo, and Basque cheesecake made a great meal. And the red wine sangria was excellent. Music a tad bit loud for my taste but ask for Mariangeles. You’ll be glad you did!
Definitely Coming Back Went to Dando la Brasa this Sunday with my husband and we were delighted. The place is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and has parking available. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered a fish ceviche to start (incredible, 10/10!), then half a chicken with chipotle sauce, black beans, and corn rice (also 10/10), and finished with a delicious key lime pie. I had a sangria to drink — very good and refreshing. We went on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation and everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
I had the chance to enjoy the Miami Spice menu, the experience was simply outstanding. Every dish had the perfect balance of flavor, creativity, and presentation, truly showcasing the quality and passion of their kitchen. The Miami Spice menu was well thought out: diverse options, great portions, and an excellent value for the price. Service was warm and professional, making the whole experience even more special. I definitely recommend visiting Dando la Brasa Mini during Miami Spice. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the best of their culinary proposal at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
We had the pollo a la brasa estilo venezolano, and it was absolutely amazing, hands down the best pollo we’ve had. The flavor truly took us back to Venezuela; it tasted exactly like the real thing we grew up enjoying. The service was fantastic as well. Luis and Gredxander were attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. We are so glad we found Dando La Brasa and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Venezuelan-style pollo a la brasa in Miami!
Mariangeles was amazing!!!! Gave great recommendations. The tequeños were super fresh. The jasmine rice was a large portion and well seasoned. The fish was cooked perfectly and a very large portion. The most interesting flavor was the cinnamon on the plantains. The sangria was beautiful filled with fruit beautifully decorated my only comment was it could have used maybe a little brandy of a little more sweetness. More than reasonable prices for the portions.
Absolutely fantastic rotisserie chicken—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection! The sides were delicious and everything came out fresh and hot. What really made the experience stand out aside from the food was the service. Our waitress, Mariangeles, was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from start to finish. You can tell she truly cares about her customers. Great food, great service, and a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. Highly recommended!
Authentic Latin Flavor Cooked Over Wood Charcoal. A True Hidden Gem! This restaurant is an absolute treasure for anyone who loves traditional Latin food full of rich, authentic flavors. While it’s best known for its perfectly grilled chicken, the menu goes far beyond that, offering a wide variety of delicious Latin dishes that feel like home-cooked meals with a gourmet touch. What truly makes this place stand out is their use of wood charcoal for cooking. The unique flavor that this adds to the food is incredible; smoky, bold, and deeply satisfying. You can really taste the difference in every bite. The chicken comes out juicy on the inside and perfectly crisp on the outside, and the seasoning is just right. But don’t stop at the chicken; the menu is full of other amazing dishes that showcase the best of Latin cuisine. One dish I always order is the rib soup. It’s packed with flavor, rich, and comforting; just like something you’d find in a Latin American kitchen. It’s a must-try! I also highly recommend ordering half chickens instead of full ones, especially if you’re with a group. You get more portions, more sides to share, and more variety to enjoy. Parking is another plus; there’s always plenty of space available, even during busy hours, which makes the experience even more convenient. Whether you’re a fan of grilled meats, hearty soups, or traditional Latin dishes, this place delivers on every level. I’ve come here many times with family and friends, and it never disappoints. If you appreciate real Latin flavor and top-quality service, you will absolutely love this spot. Highly recommended!
Best rotisserie chicken! The chicken is so good that I never want to try anything else. The sides are delicious too especially the yucca frita. And don’t forget the coconut lemonade. Great value too. MariaAngeles is a wonderful server - friendly and helpful with the menu.
Gedxander was our server and he was first class. Knew the menu inside and out and provided delightful service. The food was awesome. From the chicken all the way down to the brussel sprouts-so tasteful and fresh. The chicken is a must and wait until you try their sauces. The ribs were delicious as well
This is my first time trying out this place. The menu was varied with great options. Got the chance to try a couple of things all of which were delicious. The environment is very enjoyable and the music is at a perfect volume that allows for conversation. Mariangeles was our server, she took the time to give us great advice on what to order. I will definitely be coming back!
We had an amazing experience at Donde La Brasa, thanks to our waitress Angie. Her service was excellent from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She made great recommendations and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. The food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal, full of flavor and beautifully prepared. Angie truly elevated our dining experience with her recommendations on food choices and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend asking for her!
Rotisserie Chicken awesome! Tuna Tonato was the best food my wife has ever had in her 65 years. Great service and fair pricing. 100% recommend!
I don’t usually do this but Angie is hands down the best server I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She checked in at just the right times, knew the menu really well, and made great recommendations. You can tell she actually cares about giving people a great experience, not just doing her job. Angie’s positive energy and professionalism made our meal even better, we’ll definitely be back and hope to have her as our server again!
Very nice location , Juliana was Great as was the food 🥘 lots of chicken and meat on the menu but please don’t sleep on the non alcoholic drinks . Lizzy was exceptional. She was attentive, explained items on the menu we were not familiar with and always had a smile on her face. The food was phenomenal too!
Art meets cuisine! This literally has to be some of the best food I’ve tasted in my life! You really see the level of detail that went into everything from the decor to the food. It feels like a very modern artsy restaurant. I seriously don’t see why anyone wouldn’t rate this a 100/100! We got the coconut lemonade and ooohhh boyyyy was that delicious! I highly recommend the garlic chicken as apart of your entree. No works can describe how incredibly pleased I was with the atmosphere, food and service! Bravo! 👏 Bravo! 👏
Mariangeles she is the best. I love this place. The service is always great, food mantains the level everytime Very homey, warm, great prices and great happy hour. We always order the roasted chicken, the yuca frita is amazing, all and all a great experience throughout ❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Always fresh food and unpretentious service. Servers always attentive. Today we had MariaAngeles and she was observant to any needs I.e. water refill and changing plates and utensils without asking. We come often so unfortunately don’t have any photos to share. You cat go wrong with anything on the menu.
Tonight we had dinner at Dando la Brasa with my wife and daughter, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The food was absolutely excellent everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the quality and care in every dish. She gave us great recommendations that turned out to be perfect choices, and she made sure we felt well taken care of throughout the entire evening. Overall, amazing food, great atmosphere, and top-notch service. Highly recommended for a family dinner 👌

Out of this World SMOKED Chicken! Finger licking goooooooooood! 🤤 Everything I had was DELICIOUS! You’ve got to try it! It’s truly amazing! Go for the chicken!🍗 2nd round on January 15th, 2026 Came again and our server Gredxander was amazing! Gredxander was courteous, professional, and made us feel like a VIP client (which I am, ofcourse ;-) Delicious food as always and super friendly service! I’ll be back!
I found Dando La Brasa by mistake; being a tourist, first time this Brickell area of Miami— and it was amazing! I’ve never had rotisserie chicken like that, the sides were addictive and my Sangria was beyond delicious and on happy hour prices. If I lived in Miami, I would be a regular! Just go! You will not be disappointed!!!!!
Love it here; consistently good and extremely delicious food. I honestly order it out a lot, but coming in person is always a great experience and the food is always good regardless of takeout or in person. Today I had Gredxander as my server and he was incredible and totally made the visit!
The food looked so good, I didn't even get around to taking a picture. It's been over nine years since I've had such delicious grilled chicken. I suggest improving the boiled yuca, but overall, I recommend it. The atmosphere is super pleasant, and the waitresses are very attentive. I'll be back soon.
Absolutely loved Dando La Brasa! The food is truly delicious — everything is full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The service was just as amazing, attentive and friendly from start to finish. A special thank you to our host, Mariangel, who made the experience even more enjoyable with her kindness and great attention. Super recommended! We will definitely be back. 😊

The atmosphere is pleasant, family-friendly, and perfect for enjoying a relaxed meal. The food truly lives up to the name excellent flavors, perfectly cooked meats, and great presentation. Her service was outstanding friendly, attentive, and professional. Her recommendations were spot on, showing great knowledge of the menu and genuine care for the guests. Without a doubt, Dando La Brasa is a place I would return to and highly recommend, whether for a family dinner or a special occasion. Thank you for such a great evening

This restaurant is way underrated. Food is spectacular and pricing is more than reasonable. chicken Mac n cheese and short rib soup were super.\nStaff is very friendly & attentive.
Excellent food!! Nice waiters!\nThe ambiance is in keeping with the restaurant, with beautiful colors and atmosphere.

We came here 2 days ago. I had 1/4 rotisserie chicken with red cabbage slaw & Maduros. My wife had chicken Milanese. The rotisserie was so good she wanted 1/2 today. This time around we had house salad & maduros sin queso. She ordered a red sangria too. They ought to open 1 or 2 in NYC. Que lastima!
I got the half chicken with multiple sides to-go. Boiled yucca, slaw salad, and corn over rice, with lots of meat included. They were so busy the day before that they did not have grilled vegetables and some other side I wanted to order. Not having one side is understandable, but not having two at lunch time for a small menu doesn’t seem right to me. The bad: - The meat was overdone when I asked for medium rare, closer to medium. - The sauces they provided were great, but the green sauce came in such small quantity for the meal provided. - The blood sausage wasn’t my favorite, but this is an acquired taste and they asked me before I ordered whether I was sure I wanted it. I don’t hold this against them, but I caution if you’re considering blood sausage specifically. - The boiled yucca could have used more sauce or seasoning. The good: - Yeah, the chicken was solid. - The sauces included were great. - This place has a calm and dim atmosphere. It’s a good intimate spot for business dinners. - It seemed like the hostesses were really trying their best. - The non-blood sausage was very good. That was probably my favorite part of the meal. All in all, a pretty OK spot. Definitely not bad, but nothing spectacular here, food-wise.
Dinner here was fantastic! The grilled dishes were juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. The vibe was warm and energetic, with great music and a cozy setup. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole evening even better.

Food was delicious! Shrimp cocktail and pork belly appetizers. Main dishes red snapper fillet and skirt steak Desert awesome twist on key lime pie!! Our server Lizzy was fantastic, very friendly and attentive.
Great option for grilled meats and veggies. Definitely steps above the commercial/fast food joints. Conveniently located in a small shopping center with free limited parking. The store has black windows (appears closed from the outside) but it's not during normal hours - this does not make it feel inviting. Would recommend you try if you're able to.
Nice restaurant for rotisserie chicken and related grilled food however I wouldn't say it has Peruvian flavors or influences, their aji amarillo was far away from the original version other than being yellow. The service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere of a grilling place but cozier.
Great flood, great service. Staff was very welcoming and all worked together to make our experience all the better. Rotisserie chicken was very juicy, and full of flavor. Pork belly is hands down one of the best in Miami. Period! Chicken croquettes were fresh, crispy and delicious. Pichanna, while good was probably the weakest of everything we had. Will definitely be back here to try more items on the menu.
Me encanta la comida y el servicio, pero el local es demasiado frío. No creo que vuelva hasta el verano.

Stopped for a quick meal as it's close to home. Dispite the good service, the food does not match its high ratings. Chicken, steak and grilled veggies were all too salty. Most veggies were undercooked and some were almost raw. Chicken was cheap but low quality. If they were advertising grilled chicken as a signature dish, i expect to taste better quality chicken even if it's more pricey. Nice sweet plantains. Overall positive experience except the food.
Yesterday we went for first time to this restaurant! Without any doubt, I could say that is one of the BEST flavory restaurants we have ever been into. The food flavor was unique (our main dish was the chicken, and according to the menu, was marinated for 48 hours). However, our experience wasn’t the best due to the attention of the server. Angelys didn’t guide us through the menu, make any suggestions related to the appetizers, or encourage us to know more about the restaurant. We choose this option due a friends recommendation, and one of the remarkable things about it was the attention of the staff. Sadly, our experience was not even similar to this. As a reminder to the restaurant, the attention to the public could be the principal key to maintain a consistent flow-in, and making costumers into regular clients. This restaurant has an amazing product, but by the attention could make us to no comeback.
