Comida de la Tierra Colombian Cuisine Miami Reviews
First of all service is phenomenal. The girls are very attentive and make sure you are happy. Second the food was original and felt like if I was back in Colombia. Food had an awesome taste with huge portions. They have a happy hour that starts in the afternoon every day. Totally a must when you are in the area.
Great food and wonderfully cooked. Just as in Colombia the only thing I would complain about is the mash potatoes because they were too thick and not creamy like they should be. Everything else was on point, the flank steak and the churrasco as well as the chicharrón and pork chops and the soup
Outstanding dishes and great customer service!! The atmosphere is delightful! We ordered the sancocho de costilla and bandeja palsa the flavors of the dishes were delicious! I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Hop on the trolley and you'll be there in minutes. True Colombian food.
Very Delicious Colombian food! Our waiter Jason was very nice and attentive. Muy rico todo lo que ordenamos!
Amazing food here tried out bandeja paisa and it was phenomenal. I’ve also tried out the pastries such as pan de bono, pan de queso, empanadas, and the coffees!
The arepas was sooooo delicious 😋
We go to this restaurant very often. Excellent service and ambience. The food is fresh , authentic colombian, big portions and fair prices

Great service
I love this place. Excellent Colombian food at great prices and friendly service. I'm so happy it's around the corner from where I live.
This place is cool, the food is fresh and delicious , Mr. Edwin (manager), always attends in a personalized way , clean and nice , I love the attention and quality of this place ✨✨✨✨✨
Awesome Colombian food! Especially their bandeja paisa. Nice staff. Great location few blocks from beach.
I don't remember what it was called, but the breakfast food here was phenomenal! It's a small place and feels family owned. The service was slow, but then again it could have been because it's Miami.
The place is cozy, the staff is friendly and explained about each dish, the food was so good, the portions were big, it is affordable I like it
Best Colombian food I've had in a while, from the staff to the upper management they all extremely polite and service is delivered in a timely manner.
The Peruvian Cousin is consider 3rd. in the world I'm Peruvian, but when I whent to Mi Tierra, My oppinion is that is the BEST Colombian restaurant I ever been too.
Great service, delicious food and very welcoming. Made me feel like part of the family.
Great service from Sra luz , very professional , always making sure everything was ok. Servers wears mask all the times , place is clean and neat , plenty parking 🅿️ is a Plus.
The food is very good and service perfect. We've been enjoying the outdoor seating with our dog.
Great food. Loved the Lomo Saltado. Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Will definitely come back.
A+ The place is good (well I haven't been at the restaurant )just the bakery. But the empanadas are awesome and El picante es expectacular
We try chicharrón, papas, arepa de huevo, bandeja paisa, jugos, tinto and everything was delicious. I really recommend this place to enjoy an authentic Colombian food!!!!
Ive been eating at this restaurant for 16 years now and i love it! Home made food. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is like my family now!
The food was really good quality. For $15 I got a Milanesa with rice, beans, and fried chicken. The food didn't take long.
Great food & very good service! Highly recommended
Good quality! The red beans were delicious and the rice tasted so fresh. Food portions are good, we all had leftovers for later.
Every time I visit Miami Beach I have to come to this little spot for a quick breakfast. Coffee is awesome, the girls behind the counter are efficient. Feels like a tiny diner, there’s only bar counter seating. Fast pases and the food is delicious!
A very delicious Colombian restaurant. The decor was filled with authentic realia from Colombia. They have an outdoor seating area as well. The food was enjoyable for an affordable price.
The juice was so delicious. I loved the guac for the tostones & the main courses were filling. I had to get to go boxes & the next day eating leftovers, the food tasted even better. Was not disappointed.
The place is very clean and they have the best customer service you can think of. As soon as you walk in, the way they greet you make you feel you landed at home. Silvia B. is to me the best waitress in this place. Totally recommended.
Pleasant indoor and outdoor sitting. Menu includes various traditional Colombian dishes in addition to the weekly daily specials. plenty of parking and good service.
The food was great, the place is nice and clean...Colombian friends recommended this place and they were absolutely right! And I was forgetting...prices are totally reasonable and they don't save on portions!
This place is so amazing, home cooked Colombian food. My go to after every night out and the price is good for Miami Beach too.
Amazing place, great breakfast, highly recommend if you want to try delicious Colombian food
Food was very good and service given by Michael was amazing!! Will return
Everything is delicious. The food and attention is perfect. 100% recommended!
Had a great experience Our Waiter Jose was spectacular can’t say enough about this place love it. Congratulations on such a well run Restaurant. Great Customer Service
Great Colombian experience. Food is great, service too but most of all, it's a simple mom and pop shop for an authentic feel of eating real food at your favorite neighbor's place. It's not a culinary place by any means but it's just a real good down to earth locals joint! Enjoy, and the price is right also!!
So my mom and I shared a picada for 2, plenty of food, fresh delicious flavor. Very recommended, the French fries are very good crispy my son loved them. I wish they had a soda matchine since they have can soda, and I had 3 cans so that was a bit more expensive than I would like. Service on point, very nice ladies.
Had never been to a Colombian restaurant before. Damn tasty and not too expensive. Large portions as well; a bit of a wait for food (looked like they had a lot of to go orders) but it was well worth it.
This was my first time eating Columbian food. I was very pleased with the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The BBQ ribs were really good. Tender and seasoned well. Me and my mom had tamales and empanandas. When eating Latin American food each country and region makes their food completely different from every one else. Even the local Colombian community comes to eat there. And told us the difference between countries and their food.
Best food and customer service! We've never been to a Colombian restaurant and the waitress was so nice and helped us find items to our likings. I truly recommend this place and I will be coming again soon!
Terrible service Terrible empanadas they brought me these old empanadas waste of money plus expensive if a Colombian place bring you sorry as empanadas which is there signature appetizers run I went to benihanas a block dwn of the water had an amazing lunch
Food was delicious. Never had Colombian food tbh but this place gave me a great experience. The staffs are wonderful people btw. Aguila is now one of my favorite beer to drink 🤗
Luz was amazing Server , I really appreciate it , I reccomend everyone to visit this place , AMAZING !FOOD
Amazing Colombian food, service was excellent. They make you feel that you are back home ☺️. I loved it.

*Tip is included. I went for the third time last night and realized that the tip is included. Also, yesterday's service was terrible. Venue: My mom and I have lived near this place for a long time and it is the first time we come in. The place is clean and very rustic (which Zi live because it reminded me the little places we used to eat at when I was a little girl back in my country). Food & drinks: I had la Bandeja Paisa - steak, chorizo, fried egg, mini arepa, white rice, chicharrón, and a sus of beans ... & a freshly made lemonade without sugar and American coffee. Everything was delicious. My mom had the sancocho, which is a soup served in a large bowl with meat and corn cob. My son had the chicken nuggets w fries, he finished all the nuggets! I bet they were good. Service: The service was really good. They were attentive, nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. All I'm gonna say now is that I found a new favorite spot.
Mi Tierra is one of those "no frills, lets chill kinda day" in the neighborhood places. Iv visited a few times but opted for take out. My usual order is the beef soup with a side order of tostones and guacamole. Never been disappointed yet by this knockout combo. The soup is hearty, the meat is tender and the price makes it even better. . With this said I decided to take a chance and try something a little different. I dined in. I ordered margaritas, and their Monday special, grilled chicken and lentil soup. . Soup- came with beef in it. Good flavor. Will add this to my future orders. Grilled Chicken- small amount of chicken but decent flavor . It was a simple yet effective taste. Like I said no frills. Would order again. Margaritas-Okay as well. No frills, might be a premade mix. A bit salty. I felt like there was salt in the glass and not just on the rim. Skip the salt if you are sensitive to it. For $7 it served it's purpose. . The service is always very good hear. Will be back to test other items. Slowly, because I like my usual order. But we have to stay hungry for new experiences, so Mi Tierra I'll see you again. Till next time my friends .
Food was good, they need better lightning and more staff food took forever
I ordered a "Bandeja Paisa" and a Passion Fruit Juice and they were great. The red beans tasted like glory. My grilled beef was amazing. The sausage was more than expected. GREAT JOB, guys. FULLY RECOMMENDED. Prices are great.
Nice Colombian cafe, friendly staff and yummy food
On our last day in Miami Had lunch in Mi Tierra restaurant We were amazed how good the food was I did the lengua con salsa Family place very Colombian

Nice Colombian cafe, friendly staff and yummy food
Excellent food, friendly staff, highly recommend, but don't come here if you in a hurry as service can be quite slow. But like I said the food is on point!
Delicious Food, good ambiance and good services. Prices are excellent when you look at portion size and quality. Would I go back? Yes, without a doubt.
Very good food. Service should have been more concerned with their customers rather than chatting behind the bar.
This place has great good and great service. My server was very friendly and knew the menu very well. She was able to describe how the dishes were prepared, and helped me chose the right the right thing.
The place was packed on Sunday at 2:30 pm. The service was polite and courteous. The food was very good. Actually the food was delicious. The prices were ok.
I got the liver and onions and i had a small soup beforehand everything was very good. The resturaunt had a nice cozy home feeling. Relaxing place to eat. I will definitely go again.
Excellent, home cooking-style simple dishes that are healthy and delicious. I had grilled white fish with vegetables and rice and a side salad. Lots of flavor and attentive staff.
delicious food, nice ambiance and good customer service. the bandeja paisa won't let you down nor the tamales, do not forget to ask for agua de panela con limon specially in a hot day (in a Colombian place is almost a Must) very good to share or make good times wih your family or friends.
As a Colombian it does have a good flavor. Some things can be better. Service was good but very slow (could be because of mothers day)
Good prices, food was fine, service was fine, small place but enough to enjoy colombian food
We eat here almost once a week. The resturant is a 5/5. Great food, nice patio to hang out on, and the service is good. The togo food is a 3/5. It's really weird. The food also varies significantly depending on what I assume is the chef. They are the best Colombian restaurant on the beach.
Good authentic Colombian food with indoor and outdoor tables. The service was very good and helpful. Didn't give them 5 stars because they didn't have almojábanas at the time. Otherwise good food, nice setting and service.
My friends and I experienced great customer service here, they were super attentive and friendly. We sat in the outdoors seats to enjoy the warm weather. I had the sancocho with rice, highly recommended (especially after a night of drinking lol). On the side I had fritos/tostones with guacamole, I felt like the guac was a bit bland but still enjoyable. The inside and outside of the restaurant was clean. Overall a great experience and I would love to return 🤗
Great experience. Fresh & delicious food in a friendly, relaxed and cozy environment. As a travelling Australian family we found this place good value amidst all the overpriced food in Miami Beach... particularly if you are a fan of South American flavours !! Muchos Yummy.
Good prices, food was fine, service was fine, small place but enough to enjoy colombian food
!!! NICE LOCAL PLACE!!! I always order delivery from this place but it's cash only!! The food is usually good though certain items are not so good ie.. tamales are not my favorite, they're just slices of patatoes and vegetables and tasteless. On My last visit The manager came out to introduce himself and was very nice the food was served hot and fresh and was delicious and the margaritas were nice not to salty!
We stopped by Mi Tierra for dinner and left a little disappointed. We ordered the Bandeja paisa with carne asada. The steak was ok, not much flavor, the beans were very bland as well as the rice. They gave me patacones instead of plantain and no avocado. The chicharrón, arepa and chorizo were delicious but everything else was lacking flavor We also ordered the Lomo saltado and it definitely wasn’t worth the price. The steak had good flavor but it was tough, not the best but not the worst either. Service was ok too which in our opinion always makes or breaks the experience. The outdoor chairs were so uncomfortable we couldn’t wait to finish because our backs hurt whilst eating.

Good Colombian food, takes care of the craving. Service could be a little better, and the beef on the bandeja paisa was a bit hard.
The soup wasn't fresh and not good. I usually get the Bandeja Paisa which I know is really good. But wanted soup today, i won't Be getting soup here again.
Nice place for a quick fix. Not to take your date there. The "Bandeja Paisa" (Paisa Dish) is good and you can customize. The outside tables, where we sit was not as clean as I expect, the tableas are kind of dirt. But not as much as you can not eat in it.
They make you wait and the prices are not reasonable. There's another Colombian restaurant across the street which are much more friendly quick and the prices are very reasonable.
Average Colombian food. The pork was hard and dry :/ mi colombiana has way better flavor
Be cautious of your check the cashier system rounds up your paycheck. Its like they watched "office space" and they take a few cents from every transaction. Food is good though so can't complain about that
its honestly okay but my service was bad 👎 the bandeja should have been bigger and you can get better empanadas around the corner but its a nice place to sit down and grab a brew if the service was better i would've gave it another star
Food is good , service is terrible, there were two tables including us, after 10 minutes we ask for the menus to a guy in the register (assuming is the manager young guy ) and his response was" we are to busy " when we put our order 20 minutes latter the food arrive and they forgot the appetizer. Really unpleasure experience.
Went for a casual late Sunday lunch. SERVICE WAS T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E. Our Food took 45 minutes to arrive to the table after asking twice what had happened with our order. Our server never came back after taking the order and didnt even apologized for how long the food took. THE FOOD, ok. Nothing particularly great. I have tasted better Colombian food in similar places in Miami.
Terrible service, food quality so so, brought appetizers and main course together. Small size. Not recommended. Look at the chicken, tasted like cardboard.

Food is good, but very poor services staff ( specially Oscar ) very disappointing because it could be a great places , but not with this unprofessional staff and only with the poor service they provide you is enough, they are so brave that included you the tips to the total ( wish is a ilegal practice) and suggeste you for more tips at the check so you are basically forced to leave the gratuity even when you are not satisfied with the services 👎🏽👎🏽
Great foos but expect to be serve half an hour later, horrible service.. I mean horrible!! We even called ahead of time to order to pick up they left me on hold for 20mins then we walked in we told them that and they ignored us, we have been there several times and the experience has been horrible all the time, now we decided not to come back
Food came about 10 minutes before the person I was sitting with got theirs not a big deal but not a great start. Wrong food was brought out and when they brought it back it was missing another side that was on the plate before. As I waited a second time for another 10 minutes to make a Chicharron that apparently walked off the plate, the waitress was inside laughing and hiding to check her phone. Another time a waitress brought me Avocado instead of sausage as a side and when the food came out I told her she had made a mistake and I was surprised when she kept insisting the mistake was mine and that she swore thats what I ordered. ( I dont eat Avocado so theres that and why are you arguing with a customer about anything?)I am only writing this review because it was my third bad experience. The waitresses don't care to be attentive because their tip is already included. Beware.
Waited for over an hour, for our food . With less than 4 customers in the restaurant. Unacceptable, not recommended. Food had no taste , Caesar salad had a sour taste , no orange juice or avocado available. Poor service.
The wait to get served after ordering is not good. It used to be a great place to eat. And food is still good but you gotta be prepared to wait almost an hour to get served. The waiting is just unacceptable
Food ok but service needs work. They were nice but not to show their restaurant and make you come back. Guess I'm used to better service
This restaurant is a joke on me... this was my third visit and all I can say is please don't waste your money going there. In this ocassion, I ordered Punta de Anca - medium rare and Instead I got three chunks of overcooked, tasteless meat. The waitress was apologetic but the dish was really bad. Did I mention the desserts are pre-made "Generic Chefs" or whatever brand? Forget about freshness... Overpriced and disappointing... Not recommended AT ALL. You will do way better eating hot dogs in Costco. (No disrespect to Costco's hot dogs)
Horrible experience. We walked in and were never greeted. Someone finally acknowledged that we were there and told us to have a seat. We were waiting for our server to come and talk to us and take our order but instead got a rude server who told us to get up because that table was for a group of 3 or more people. Clearly you can't go eat with someone else or alone but need to always walk around with your wife, kids, 5 cousins, and 4 aunt/uncles to be seated there. Everyone inside noticed that they made us get up to the point that someone offered us to sit with them. Huge piece of sh** location.
If only I can give a negative star, Don’t eat here the food is old and nasty. I ordered 4 aprepas and they all were hard, nasty almost seem as if it was reheated from yesterday. I’m beyond disgusted and will never eat here again!
The food is bearable in general but service could be better. In my own experience and visited twice within the same week. First visit was ok but service was kind of subpar. The young lady waitress wrote down my order and place it on the table, that was the only time she would stop by or asked if needed anything else. Regardless and because was December 31 , I tipped “ very well “. I returned on Jan 2nd for the same dish ( Sancocho de Res ) and a different waitress smacked the menu on the table and walked away without saying a single word . When I ordered same dish ( which by the way it reads on the menu that is served Everyday ) was told they run out of food, come on ! At 4.00 PM ? I just walked out. Plenty of other restaurants to go in the area. Won’t miss this Shack of a restaurant.
In general the service is super slow, but if you decide to seat outside it is even worse. They literally forget about the customers seated there. After 45min waiting outside without being attended (we went in and asked three times for a waitress), we ended up moving to an inside table. It was really a bad experience, we were waiting for the food a total of 2 hours and the food arrived cold. Then we asked for the check 4 times, and after a while, we got up and had to make a line with other impatient customers to pay the check, standing in front of the desk. If you like to be treated with respect and urgency don’t go to that place.
This USE to be a great place. I'm not sure what happened. Constant leaks in the roof, and the service is SO SLOW. I'm thinking one of the grilles went out around a year ago. A one time super awesome place is just becoming SAD! 6 straight times of bad service. I won't be back! So slow, even when nobody is there waiting!
Try to avoid this place. Horrible customer service from an older lady. The food is good but the lady attitude and way to talk to people is horrible. My family of 10+ people walked out.
