El Rancho Grande Miami Reviews
Wow! This place is amazingly good with authentic Mexican cuisine that is so fresh you taste it like they had a farm in house. Our bartender Antonio makes the most delicious craft margaritas from guava to a ginger mezcal, all with natural fresh pressed juices. Even the guacamole with chicharrón is made fresh to order. Good vibe, great friendly service and delicious all the way around. Good for the bar or sit downs with lots of parking near by. Come check it out, I highly recommend it. Good reasonable price. We were able to enjoy the taco Tuesday special of $20 two tacos and a drink of choice plus the big guacamole and chicharrón. You will love it!
Phenomenal food. Everything we tried was absolutely amazing. We got the queso, birria tacos, and tampiquena and I could not tell you which was my favorite. The steak on the tampiquena was cooked so well and prices were very reasonable for the portion you got. Great service as well. Highly recommend!
My family and I enjoyed our dinner at El Rancho Grande. We ordered Appetizers: Elote and chips with queso dip Dinner: nachos, birria, chicken fajitas, and beef hard shell tacos.
Amazing experience. We just got off the cruise ship and this was hands down the best meal of our vacation. The staff is amazing and so gracious. We will absolutely be back.
Nat was so amazing! She was very kind and was serving multiple tables at once . The food is also really good ! I highly recommend the chimichangas one of my favorite things on the menu
The place is super cute, but little busy for monday. One server for 14 tables right now.
For being my 1st time was good Shrimp tacos hit my cravings Margarita was good Very cordial waitresses Just the 4 leches was hard not soft as I had it before (somewhere else, of course) But overall was good Parking easy to find
Always a great experience.and staff treats me like I’m family .the food is always top notch .and the ribs are best in miami
Very nice ambience and has vegetarian options too. Was open on Christmas too and had a really good time.
Cute place & surprisingly wasn’t packed on a taco Tuesday night. The agua Fresca de Jamaica was really good but certainly has a sweeter touch to it. The house salsa is really good and very fresh. The Tortola chips are thin and fresh too. The tacos Mexicanos is a great filling entree and like a taco flight. You get to try 4 different kinds with a side of rice and beans which is to die for. Their salsa verde hot sauce is a nice mild compliment and the soft taco shells were such a good size, taste, texture and consistency.
We came in by mistake and we did not regret it. Food was great, service was amazing and they served everything fast. All the plates were amazing. I recommend trying the Big Burrito and please have the fried ice cream for dessert. If you wanna try something before the main course, go for this little banana bites, they are just awesome.
Lovely place with mariachi music and DJ The food is really good and the taco are delicious The service is friendly and the vibe was great The margaritas were really good We enjoyed our dinner and the music and we will comeback to try other dishes
Even though the place was packed we were seated immediately. Brandon quickly advised us of the specials and delivered the jalapeño ritas right away. Upon our request he convinced the chef to serve our elote shaved off the cob. The food was delicious. Service was fantastic and prompt. We had a great dinner but the chips with salsa and drinks would be perfect for a quick break from the beach.
Delicious food and great service .nachos are fresh and the Birria tacos are fire 🔥, the plátanos machos were delicious too.. will be coming back
This is the best Mexican restaurant in Miami Beach 🏖️. I highly recommend it! Virginia provided outstanding customer service.
Atmosphere was incredible, service was top teir! All of the staff was inviting and extremely friendly. Elias was my waiter and was so lovely. But the food, oh my goodness so good! Will come again! And if you haven't stop by!
Food is amazing! We come here whenever we are in the area and it never disappoints. The Plato Mixto is always great to try a little of everything and the Habanero hot sauce they make in house is the best. Atmosphere is great and perfect volume of music. I can’t recommend it enough.
I’ve been to this place quite a few times. The food is awesome, the place is nice, but the service is what gets you to come back. Thank you Sara (our server) for being an excellent worker.
The atmosphere is so lovely and the service here was amazing .Very attentive patient and kind service .Came with my two small children and they loved it .Will visit again
I'm just here for the Guac! This is the only place I know of in the beach vicinity that has FRESH Guacamole! They make it table side with fresh tomatoes, cilantro, onions, jalapeños optional and of course avocado. I've been coming here for years! The margaritas are also amazing! Definitely recommend!
I have been to many Mexican restaurants in Miami and this one is by far the best! The tacos are full of flavor and my wife loves the specials. Great Happy hour also. Wide variety of tequilas and Mezcal! It is a must if you are in the mood for authentic packed with flavor dishes and the service is phenomenal!
Amazing spot for Mexican food! The margaritas are strong and perfectly balanced, the fresh guacamole is a must, and the fajitas come out sizzling and full of flavor. Do not skip the nachos with ground beef, absolutely loaded and delicious. Great food, great vibes, can’t wait to come back!
Our first time here, Food was excellent the Tampiqueno very tasty n soft, everything was A1A will definitely come back. The Hibiscus Margarita was great!!!!!
We ate here for the first time a few months back and were blown away with the quality and freshness of the food. The Guacamole was freshly prepared right there and the flavor was exceptional. We had Ceviche Veracruzano and that was also fresh tasting and just the right amount of seasoning. All the food we ate between the table was awesome, Taco Birria stood out as super tasty and the Fajitas were also good with fresh peppers cooked as I like them. I liked the food so much we had the restaurant cater for my girlfriends birthday and they still managed to take that restaurant freshness all the way to our party and deliver quality dishes all around. Cannot thank their team enough for how well everything went and the effort they made to ensure a great spread of food and everybody commented on how much they liked it. I wish you were closer to my house so I could come more often.
Natalie is the best server and the taco Al carbon with the fresh house margaritas were super delicious highly recommend this place !!
I love el rancho grande.. the food is amazing. I can’t explain how wonderful I feel for the food and service. My server Nico, explained to me the menú and specials perfectly I highly recomend it.. and George the owner was very nice as well. lovely experiencie!!
This is a lovely little hidden gem that I enjoy so much. Family owned the food is always remarkable and very authentic. The waitstaff is so kind. The drinks are great.A good variation of margaritas.
Wandered to this place, and what a happy accident! Excellent service, friendly staff, DELICIOUS food - wonderful ceviche, delicious tacos. We highly recommend this gem of a place.
This was a nice find on our trip to Miami Beach. We dined outside on a beautiful November evening. The wait staff was very attentive and very nice. The food was delicious. Quesadillas was enormous and filled with cheese and shredded chicken. The fajitas were sizzling hot (see them sizzling in the pictures) and loaded with meat and vegetables. Guacamole (a little too limey for my taste but everyone else liked it) was fresh and the chips were hot. El Rancho was a great find.
This is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Miami Beach. So excited to find it! My chimichanga, guacamole and refried beans were on point. The service was genuinely delightful, and Julieta Venegas playing in the background perfected the evening. Looking forward to going back to try more dishes :)
The food is amazing! Place is clean and the service was great. It’s hard to find good Mexican food and this was exceptionally tasty!
I have to give this place 5 stars. First of all I went here with a group of about 40 people after a skate meet. We just randomly showed up and they took us in. The servers were very attentive and friendly and got all of our orders correct despite it being so chaotic. They also put up with our rowdiness even though we did disturb the peace. The place itself is cute and the food was so good! I got the Mexican and it was 4 different tacos and all hit the spot! (Specially after skating 16 miles). Anyways going to come back and try the margaritas that looked so good!
So yummy! My friends and I stopped by for dinner after a day at the beach. We cleaned off our entire plates because of how delicious it all was. We got the Birria, Pescado, and Chicharron tacos. I got the Elote appetizer too and really enjoyed it! Our waitress was extremely kind and friendly too. Never got any drink or water refills though.
I absolutely love this place! It’s my favorite restaurant in Miami Beach. The tortilla soup is the best, and Sarina, our server, was amazing!
Had a wonderful experience. Sara was very polite and had wonderful customer service. My chicken burrito was very delicious. Drinks not strong
I went for lunch I’ve been here before for dinner I had the burrito and a lemonade lemonade was homemade Yum the chips or delicious nice and warm The salsa was mild but homemade mild I suggest he has a spicy one also he had I asked for hot sauce he brought two dishes and they were extremely hot but very delicious tasting Next time I would sit outside give this place a try you won’t be disappointed
Our dinner here tonight was really spectacular and was exactly what we wanted, ordered, and needed. This place is really underrated and deserves more traffic. The drinks were perfect, the chips were nice, the special appetizer was perfectly made, followed by a perfectly constructed chicken avocado salad and the Mexican tacos
I recently had the pleasure of dining at El Rancho Grande, a Mexican restaurant situated in the heart of Miami Beach. From start to finish, the experience was highly enjoyable. The service was commendable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Their warm hospitality added to the overall positive dining experience. The food at El Rancho Grande is definitely a highlight. Each dish was flavorful and authentically Mexican. However, the standout for me was the Tequilamisu, a unique and delightful twist on the classic tiramisu dessert, infused with a shot of tequila. This inventive combination was a delightful surprise and perfectly executed, blending the rich flavors of tiramisu with the distinctive kick of tequila. El Rancho Grande is a must-visit for anyone in Miami Beach looking for delicious Mexican cuisine served with excellent hospitality. I look forward to returning to savor more of their delightful dishes.
We visited Rancho Grande in Miami last week, flying in from Minnesota, and it was an excellent experience. We started with the tostones with guacamole, fresh and full of flavor, and the enchiladas were perfectly made, authentic, and delicious. Our server, Nathali, a very friendly Colombian, made the visit even more enjoyable, always attentive to every detail. The atmosphere is cozy, and the food has that authentic homemade Mexican touch. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for genuine Mexican cuisine in Miami.
The best Mexican place in Miami. I had steak tampiquena. It was super tender and it had great flavor. Nico is very attentive and knows the menu very well. George , the owner , is always checking on the tables and making sure we have the best time ever. Thank you Rancho Grande ! See you soon !
Super recomendado.
I went to celebrate Saint Valentine's Day and my 11-year wedding anniversary. Fantastic and unique food. We loved the tostones with fried cheese and the filet mignon was unique. I told our waiter Windy (that her service was 5 stars with so much love that she served us) that I have eaten Filet Mignon in different parts of the world (Spain, Italy, Croatia, etc.) that this place's has been one one of the BEST I have eaten in my life. I hope it's not just a Daily Special and is always available. We are local, so we will be back soon!! All for the great experience we had and for Windy's great service and affection!!! SEE YOU SOON!!!!
El cóctel con mezcal estuvo buenísimo. Pedimos varios platos de appetizer y churros que son una delicia. No soy amante de la comida mexicana pero este es un sitio que recomiendo visitar. Los precios son acordes a la zona (Miami beach)
Nice Mexican restaurant for your tacos cravings. My wife was not impressed by this place and its tacos, but I like it. That’s why I gave four stars. I have better tacos close to my house, but I can’t complain. The service was good and the music was fantastic. The place is good and their staff is nice. I will visit again and recommend the place.
Quaint and classy spot for tacos and margaritas as well as a variety of other Mexican fare. Ingredients were fresh and the meat for the tacos was tender and well spiced. Staff was very frienly and helpful and the service was quick. Their flavored margaritas were refreshing and potent with flavor combinations to satisfy anyone's curiosity and adventurous side. The lemongrass ginger and guava jalapeño were particularly delicious.
Low key spot to grab a bite to eat. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The booths are large and roomy so we really enjoyed just relaxing, eating and sipping. The food is 4/5 because it was basic and a tad bland, especially for being on South Beach and Lincoln Road. L
I enjoyed this spot overall! Nice location, friendly staff and speedy service. I highly recommend you try the frozen margaritas because they're delicious!🍹 Complimentary chips and dip is given when you're seated. What I didn't appreciate was the fact that the menus were a bit dirty and the pricing was not accurate once I received my bill.
This is a prime Miami Beach location across from the Bandshell and plenty of paid parking at reasonable rates. I had tacos El Carbon and my wife had chicken fajitas. Both were tasty and made for a great late night dinner after seeing Kingfish Ingram playing. Prices were on the steeper side, but location, dictates price I guess. Food was very delicious and they have a nice spicy hot sauce if you ask for it. First time I have had black beans prepared like pinto refried beans and they were excellent.
Decent Mexican restaurant with nice staff and good amount of space inside and outside seating. The elote was almost one whole ear broken into two and tasted kind of old. You can tell when corn isn’t fresh even with piled on cheese and sauces. The side of rice and beans were good portions for the price and pretty tasty. We enjoyed that the refitted beans were black beans; much tastier than regular. The nachos was a smaller portion than expected, with not as much flavor and toppings. No salsa and guacamole was an extra $6! The start of the show was the plátanos en agave ahumado…really tasty and delicious. Very small portions for the price. Lemonade was extremely sweet. Waitress was sweet but we felt like she forgot about us sometimes. Had to request water refill and they forgot our sauces on the side. It was filling but not the best food. The women’s restroom was disgusting. The toilet was stuffed up and there was no toilet paper. The men’s room only has a urinal! Ugh terrible
Sorry food wasn't good no flavor guacamole wasn't homemade if it was then they didn't put any flavor in that either people were GREAT THOUGH!
We moved to this area from South Beach and were looking forward to checking out some local places. We were extremely dissatisfied by the margaritas which tasted like dish soap. The establishment smelled like bleach and the atmosphere was dead. My husband ordered another margarita after letting the bartender know he was less than happy with the first. The bartender offered no explanation and made an equally poor margarita. Overall the food was decent but the atmosphere and drinks were poor. The busser was extremely friendly and did a great job, thank you for her service which saved the evening.
I think this restaurant needs to focus on people who order carry out. I was not Dinning in and was made to wait over an hour for take out! The waitress disappeared and I never saw her again. That’s why they don’t leave tips because the service lacks effort. They weren’t busy at all. Seem like the entire staff were focused on one woman who kept asking for drink after drink. Wouldn’t recommend. Food was not authentic Mexican food at all.
I am an avid taco/ Mexican food lover, so when I travel it’s an absolute must meal to have. 1. Be prepared to pay $10+ for parking. While close enough to the restaurant, it does add up. I suggest walking or taking the trolly. 2. We were greeted quickly and ultimately served within a decent amount of time. 3. Be clear as to what you order asked them to repeat it back. I got birria tacos and they were delicious! However, my daughter got the chicken Al Carbon - when we received our food they gave her a steak taco of some sort. 4.margaritas were mid at best. Tasted like flavored frozen tap water. Which for a $18 margarita was sad. 5. The atmosphere was okay, we opted for outdoor seating because why not when you arrived from a cold state. But didn’t hear music even playing. The biggest disappointment was no chips with queso/salsa were served. I wasn’t about to add some to my order after seeing another guest chip basket being small and the court was like $15. Overall, I gave 3 out of 5 due to prices, lack of proper meal and just wasn’t felt like staff cared if we were there or not.
Cute outdoor seating area. Service was great. The food was subpar, definitely not the best that I’ve had. I ordered the carnitas tacos and the meat was super dry. I was sadly disappointed by the food quality. I won’t be returning.
We were the first guests inside even so service was bad, no water no picking up empty plates, entree vane so late we asked them to box it up so we could get the kids to bed on time
The food is not ok. Even in slow time, the food was kind of cold, the beverages like mojitos wasn't good (we asked for change). It is not a Mexican flavors like others Mexican restaurants. The service was ok. They already included 20% service charge even the ticket shows for additional tips. 🤨
I ordered the Al Carbon tacos and the avocado mango salad. The portions were extremely small for the price. I asked for no meat and no cheese on the salad. It arrived drenched in dressing and had bacon on it. It also was missing the avocado which I was looking forward too. I cannot eat the salad. The best part about this place was the chips and salsa. The portions of the rice and beans were laughable. There was only one plastic wear as well. I also Tipped $5 before the food was delivered.
What the hell? Spent $18 on “two beef tamales”- got a chunk of mush tamale corn with no beef, and definitely NoT two or worth $18. Literally should have cost $2 for some mushy cornmeal! Also spent a bunch on a chicken soup and it was such a small portion and didn’t have any extra like/onions/cilantro as places usually do- soooo disappointing. This place is criminal!! Not worth the waste of money at all.
Stay away! Baaaad food and expensive! Horrible frozen strawberry Margaritas, no lemon juice , nothing fresh, straight out of a can. No personality whatsoever, bland, tourist trap. Guacamole was just as bad. No punch(lemon juice notes, pleeeeease), what happened to cilantro? Food has no soul, it's dead, tasteless. Great, friendly service. Not worth a dime.
Ordered 3 tacos when ordering I asked for queso. Get my order No queso I then ask and she says they don’t have queso on the side only as a soup??!? Why didn’t she say that when I ordered. Good food but horrible language barrier or something!! Unsure but she brings me melted cheese in a bowl that was hard by the time it arrived.🧀😆😆😆
I ordered dessert to go and told the water please put the ice cream on the side because I’m not going to eat is immediately. When I picked up the order, I once again confirmed and asked if the ice cream was on the side, they said yes, I paid and even left a tip! If you return my money I will be happy to remove this review. I came home to a disgusting mess of a dessert! Disgusting and a waste that could have been avoided.
Not sure if it was a bad night but service was a little on the slow side waited 10min and thats because I had to speak up and get their attention. I was very disappointed with my visit. The nachos were flimsy with hardly any toppings, and the two margaritas I ordered didn’t taste like they had any tequila at all. To make matters worse, I found a fly floating in my drink. For the price, the quality and experience were not worth it. I guess the fly soaked up the tequila....
I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Shortly after arriving, we were approached by a homeless man asking for money outside the restaurant, which made things feel uncomfortable right away. During our meal, we also witnessed someone attempting to dine and dash and being chased by staff, which added to the chaotic atmosphere. To make matters worse, we were given a used, dirty tortilla container filled with a used salsa dish instead of fresh tortillas, which was both confusing and unhygienic. The food itself was very mediocre and not memorable in any way. Food I was able to eat a while after I received it because we had no utensils even after sitting for around 20 minutes. As we were paying we mentioned we were leaving a cash tip and I was looking through my bag for it and the waitress stood around for an awkward amount of time while I scrambled. She eventually left but as soon as I put it down she came back running to take it from the table. I have never experienced this while dining somewhere… The only redeeming part of the experience was the chips and salsa, which were actually good. Overall, though, the service, cleanliness, and atmosphere need significant improvement. I wouldn’t return.
