Omg.. this place was SO so good. We got the Tom and Jerry, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, and spicy jalapeño. All those rolls came to just $50! Each and every one was super fresh, flavorful, and super filling. We ordered our food to go, and they took maybe less than 10 minutes to prepare and hand it to us. I couldn’t believe how quick it was! Customer service is really good too, we were greeted right away and the girl was super friendly. All in all, 10/10 and I will definitely be back :)

Great little hidden gem! I was used to great Japanese restaurants in the West coast and this place did not disappoint! I came here late Friday evening and the place wasn’t too crowded. I order gyoza, spring rolls and their beef teriyaki rice bowl! Everything was delicious and it’s super affordable! Their beer is super cold and will definitely come here on a hot day! I really like this place and will be coming back. If you are looking for an affordable Japanese restaurant, then give this place a try! Their ramen looks really delicious and will definitely try it next time!

Have been coming for years! I love this place like literally! I’m a foodie and this is some of the best rolls I’ve ever tried in my life.The beef teriyaki is also one of my favorite! Jaime usually makes the rolls but this time it was two chefs I didn’t know and definitely did not disappoint! Keep up the great work and I’ll be coming for more years to come.

I'm going to be honest and say that this place was not the original place we had planned to eat at. We had planned to eat at a place a few minutes away. The staff at the original restaurant were rude and stated that they were not seating anymore people even though they were still open for more than an hour. That being said, we enjoyed our time here at Iron Sushi. It's a small, hidden gem of a restaurant with good food and friendly staff. I'm glad we came here instead.

Nice selection. We went with the basics, California, shrimp tempura and Dragon rolls. All 3 were great. Avocado fresh. Inside was small but there was patio seating options as well. My 5 year old loved the California roll. lots of tobiko topping.

Good ramen and good sushi the guys there are very good at taking care of the customers also we road bikes there that our hotel rented to us we parked the bikes in the ally next to the restaurant we could see out the window at the 2 bikes and nobody messed with our bikes while eating

I had a wonderful experience Gigi went over the top to provide me with excellent service, and I have had experience with some of the best in the hospitality industry I stayed at the Ritz Carlton at the Saint Regis so it felt like I was receiving service from one of those hotel employees definitely made me wanna go back onto the food is made it excellent gigi did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and providing me with excellent service. I will definitely recommend this and the food here is always amazing. Thank you guys so much for amazing food and amazing service

Small little restaurant, convenient location. Ordered food at the counter, credit card machine asked for tips right away (before knowing what service you are getting). You can sit in or eat out. I have to get up and ask for every little things every time, plate/ fork/ napkins, I would say this is more like a self served restaurant. Then, I noticed their cooked rice is sitting right outside of the restroom, uncovered....

Update: I had to drop it a star due to the attitude of the daytime cashier. This is a real shame. Sushi quality exceeds expectations for the affordable price point. Great spot for locals to grab some sushi without breaking the bank.

Have ordered for years. They messed up my order the past couple of times and the one time I have a complaint they didn't take me seriously, wasted my time and money. Will never order again. Only reason I left 2 Stars because the food is decent but the service is terrible. You're better off ordering to pick up. Delivery isn't worth it they'll rip you off and not believe you when you complain. Thanks. You guys aren't getting my business anymore.

Very good food. I used to buy with them. But one day I asked if they could PLEASE send me a teriyaki sauce (I had forgotten to order online) and the guy said “if you didn’t pay I can’t send it to you”. It was like $2 out of a $70 order. Never bought again.

Ordered jerk chicken miso and it was literally maruchan instant ramen noodles. Very salty. With two small portions of chicken and the thinnest and smallest slice of plantain ever. Not to mention it didn’t look anything like the presentation on Uber eats. Can’t recommend.

I guess when the cat's away, the mice are at play. Clerk could not tell me what's in the spicy miso ramen or the black tonkotsu. There's no description in the menu. I gave it a try anyway just to compare with Ramen houses in NYC. Well.... not worth it; customer service not great. I asked where the owner is and the clerk says he's not here. I think she called the owner, Mammasan. Hence 'when the cat's away" saying....

Not quite like any other sushi restaurants I've been too. Didn't like the way they prepared their rolls. The salmon was cooked vs raw.

This is not real ramen. I was extremely disappointed. Their so-called “ramen” didn’t have any of the essential ingredients — no naruto, no nori, no soft-boiled egg, no chashu pork. Instead, it came with plantain, chicken, and corn — none of which belong in traditional Japanese ramen. The noodles were also completely wrong — they tasted more like South American pasta than proper ramen noodles. I really don’t want to pay 20 dollars for that. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese ramen, this is definitely not the place.

I’m going to add a picture of what it used to look like, one from Door Dash and then what they gave me. The first is what It remembered, the second is dead on the DoorDash menial, and the last one is what they gave me

Volcano roll has shrunk considerably! Same price, though. Is it only for deliveries? I called and the "Dude that makes the sushi" says they've always been that size. I'd been eating there for about 15 years and the last 2 have been horribly disappointing. Never will I ever order from this crummy place!

I originally went to this place for the price and location, but after going, I understand why it's so cheap. 1st there was difficulty communicating the order, the cashier was not knowledgeable or willing to ask the chef's any questions, but the worst part was the service. They brought my husband a salad, then the chef came to our table and literally took it back from him without asking if he touched it, they said got the order mixed up. Then later another waitress brought him back the salad so we thought it was to say sorry for the rudeness of how they took the 1st one away. So he started eating it. The same chef came back and literally snatched the bowl from my husband while eating, no explanation. On top of that, the noodles had way too much sauce and my sushi had lettuce in it. Which I've never seen before ever. So while ordering to go is way better, I'm not sure I'd ever go back based on the quality of food. I unfortunately got what I paid for.

Hey owner! Your cashier don’t pay attention and are lazy and your cooks are disrespectful. How is that about they decide who to serve in the table and who not? I have been going the past two weeks almost every day and twice per day, tipping in all my visits and serve on the table. Last night, one of your cooks decided to leave the tray with the food in the bar and call as I was his dog. Next customer was served on the table. That was insulting. Went I went to complaint after, he came with an attitude saying that there food is not served in the table. Let me say that I’m local and a business owner myself and my business is in this very area. Thar is something I don’t want in my own neighborhood, neither other neighbors.

By far the worst iron sushi location in Miami. I live near by the restaurant so I’ve placed a few orders here before. I’m not complaining about the food, is a cheap restaurant and you get what you pay for. But it’s just unbelievable how they never put any utensils, sauces or napkins on the bags with the food. It doesn’t matter if you ask, it’s not gonna be there. That’s why I needed to write this review, I’m not exaggerating, all orders that I’ve placed on this restaurant they NEVER put any utensils sauces or napkins. I’ve never seen anything like that in my life, it’s something so basic that you expect from a restaurant. Save your money, don’t go there I’m 100% sure that you will regret.

Was excited to try this place since my wife has been here before...years ago! We ordered 2 rolls and the tuna tataki, chicken teriyaki for my daughter, salmon skin roll, stramed suimai and tonkatsu ramen. The Rolls. Too much mayo lacking flavor on all. Even the rice was under seasoned. Not the best! Tataki, tuna seemed like it had been frozen while had no indication of a well thought of a tataki item. Its not tataki if its isn't seared or torched properly. Not flavor at all! Salmon skin roll. Why? Yes I asked for it but why? I usually love a good crispy salmon skin roll but why chop it up and dress it with a bunch of unagi sauce? Why? Tonkatsu Ramen. If you cannot do a proper ramen why do it? It all starts with the brother. Broth is so bland! Whether add more dashing or combo on the broth while it is cooking. The corn had more flavor. The pork tasted more mexican thank actual Japanese flavors. The cilantro killed everything! Last but not the least, the chicken teriyaki. Mind you this is for a child. As a chef my family is my worst critique. For a child to even say no daddy. While I tried the chicken. It tasted like it had been precooked, sandbagged, and reheated back in a fryer because I could taste the used oil flavor and the chicken itself was so chewy and rubbery. No glavor! I dont even think its was seasoned at all.. Overall wise, lessoned learned! Not coming back nor will recommend this place at all. Worst $120 dollar spent ever for a dinner for 3!

As a customer of 6+ years, I honestly never thought I'd be writing this review. A couple years ago, I would rave and recommend this place to everyone. This Iron Sushi location is the WORST among those in the area in regards to their quality of sushi and customer service. Their chefs do not know how to cut sushi, cook rice properly, or let alone put together a roll that holds together. Recently, my boyfriend and I were even served rotten cucumbers. Today I asked to speak to a manager and the cashier Cami told me to come back between 8-9AM... they're not even open at that time. I'd like to say its just a poor change in management, but at this point it's been so long that I'm not sure it'll ever go back to being of any quality worth paying the smallest amount of money for. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone, local or tourist.

We are here from our of town. We love sushi, and we were in the mood for it. We ordered the one big family plate and chicken ramen , sea weed. Tipd 10% as I still didn't know the service, and it was self-service. 25 min waiting, my kids go to ask how long more politely, and the cashier responded with attitude, "It is ready whenever it's ready" I went back and talked to here on why the attitude she shrugged me and wouldn't look at me and said " my English is not good" . Food arrived 7 min later. The sushi was not so tasty and one I had a very bad taste. The soup was like one of these instant noodle cups. The sea weed seemed old. Later that evening 8h later 2 my kids are vomiting and I have a stomach ach. Likely for poison as we didn't eat anything else. Worst experience ever.

That's what you gonna get.... 1. Salmon 1% Rise 99% 2. Onion for sushi? Seriously? 3. When people ask to add avocado that mean avocado should be inside of sushi. 4. I was paying for spicy mayo and they didn't add it. 1 star is a lot...

I was poorly treated at this place. I went to pick up a delivery there and asked to use the restroom, but they denied my request because I wasn’t dining in. I felt there was a lack of humanity on the part of the manager. I even considered dining in, but after this experience, I lost interest. I hope this feedback helps improve the way they treat people.

Terrible, I use to come here for years and was turned off by the place. Decided to give it a shot again. And wow what a disappointment and disaster. No one speaks a word of English, turns a lot of business away, at least 3 guests left. The food is very bland and under par. The miso soup is water …. The service was atrocious … I wouldn’t highly recommend not to go to this place. And it’s over priced.

I took a pokeball with salmon and tuna written on it and they added crab to it even though I don't eat seafood and they wouldn't change it for me.

I used to be a regular customer here, coming two or three times a week to buy sushi. Even though they constantly messed up orders or forgot sauces (which I paid extra for), I never left a bad review. But today was the last straw. I placed an order, drove through traffic after a long day of work to pick it up, and when I got home, I realized the order was completely wrong! When I called to let them know, I was told that I had to drive back to exchange it—and they even asked me to bring back the incorrect roll. Seriously? Because of THEIR mistake, I had to waste more of my time, gas, and energy, only to return a single roll. When I came back, they still made me wait for my corrected order, even though I told them I was already on the way and would be there in 10 minutes. This is beyond ridiculous. Absolutely no customer service! No apologies! No attempt to make things right. Just excuses and disrespect for the customer’s time. Terrible experience—I will never come back after that!

I had a very unpleasant experience at the store due to the attitude of a cashier who served me. The person in question, of Asian descent, showed a complete lack of manners and willingness to assist. She didn’t greet me or make any effort to create even minimal interaction, which left a very bad impression. It is essential for customer service staff to be friendly and trained to provide quality service. An attitude like this cashier’s discourages customers and damages the store’s reputation. I hope you consider improving your team’s training and selection, as customer service is key for any business. At the moment, I cannot recommend this store while they continue to have employees with such poor disposition. Good customer service makes all the difference. I order a poke from this "restourant" if you can call "restourant" because i think they don't know nothing about this job! I work in the restourant business for a very long time and is really and absolutely bad wath happen tonight! I order a poke and I specify no mayo no spicy mayo becouse I have eggs allergie! I recive my order and try to ask if in my order was any mayo but they think they was talking with another costumer about another order... I can even not talk... wen finally I have a second to explain I was somebody else they close the call in my face.... I call back again and again trying to explain my situation and they didn't let me talk... they say to call the delivery guy about any problem... they say wasn't they're problem... they was alredy close! Really good job! You really know what does mean attention at the costumer... and attention to serving safe meal... You are completely inutil on sobe.. your service is in absolutely the worst service ever! I hope you gonna close and somebody else with more experience can open to replace you! Disgusting i can not put 0 stars but this is your real rate! 0 stars at all!

I placed an order through the restaurant website but it never arrived. The restaurant marked the order as delivered, but I never received anything. I tried to communicate several times and got no response or solution. Basically, they kept my money and my food. I understand that mistakes can happen, but the least I expected was a response or attempt to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place and will not order here again. And both the cashier and a supposed Julio said that could serve me until six in the afternoon and it was 1 pm. Because they have more client and question am not a client ? …. Bad place and we ran out of our food

disgusting sushi. the worst. the photo shows that they are super thin. some are made as if by a child. remained hungry. Total $27?! Come on...

This sushi place that offers low cost low end sushi/fish is terribly managed. Although it offers seating and table there is actually no service and the place is run by a very rude man who is also the sushi maker who screams and give rude directions to the young women who typically assist the cashier. At least in two occasions with two different girls I have witnessed this quasi abusive behavior by the sushi maker/manager; it has left me with the desire to leave and last time I actually did unable to tolerate his rudeness. Beer and drinks are never proper temperature and he is unwilling to accommodate your desires as a customer with, for example, cooling your beer with ice. I will not return.

Bad service without a doubt I would not go again, the girl does not offer you anything or recommend anything, it is not good to pay $85 for something that is not worth it. They can't have people who attend like that. By the way, he wanted to charge me a double drink

I used to be a regular customer here, coming two or three times a week to buy sushi. Even though they constantly messed up orders or forgot sauces (which I paid extra for), I never left a bad review. But today was the last straw. I placed an order, drove through traffic after a long day of work to pick it up, and when I got home, I realized the order was completely wrong! When I called to let them know, I was told that I had to drive back to exchange it—and they even asked me to bring back the incorrect roll. Seriously? Because of THEIR mistake, I had to waste more of my time, gas, and energy, only to return a single roll. When I came back, they still made me wait for my corrected order, even though I told them I was already on the way and would be there in 10 minutes. This is beyond ridiculous. Absolutely no customer service! No apologies! No attempt to make things right. Just excuses and disrespect for the customer’s time. Terrible experience—I will never come back after that!
