My favorite chicken spot in Miami. This city is filled with local spots to get chopped chicken and rice, but if you want to dine from a place that has great chicken, affordable prices, and family minded servings 3 Chefs and a Chicken is where it's at. My family eats here at least once a week. I only wish there was a location closer to me.

Ive bern eating here for over one year. Food is delicious and fresh. Best place for a quick healthy meal. Sweet potato stacker is my favorite. Efficient and courteous staff. Always clean and neat.

Good organic chicken platters at a great value. The weekday lunch platter comes with chopped chicken breast, choice of rice (white, brown, or yellow), a pita pocket, and a fountain drink for $10... the platter is loaded to the top; if you can control your appetite, you can take leftovers in the Styrofoam box the platter comes in. The fountain machine has Pepsi products. They have a variety of free sauces to add to your platter. If you pay cash, they'll give you a 3% discount. While the atmosphere is "ok", the value for the quality and quantity of food makes 3 Chefs worthwhile.

Service was great and they were pretty quick. The food is 9/10 and the pricing is been better. Chicken is delicious. And I like that it’s a healthier dish with great flavor. I love this place! It's a mix of chicken kitchen & pollo tropical. The best part the food tastes better and they always have specials which make it even better. They have a lunch special and the portion was huge.

There was some confusion over what qualified for the lunch special, so the manager gave an extra discount. Appreciate that the customer was taken care of. Will dine here again.

This place is great, healthy and I have never been disappointed. For what it is, fast food, you get good, filling, healthy fare with plenty of options and sides to spare. The parking lot can be tight, and the drive-through can take a while, but the rush is understandable. Good value for your dollar.

Been here plenty of times, good food, good quality, good quantity, fair pricing. It's literally always busy and the parking and drive thru are horrible but it's mainly a location thing, the actual service and quality of the food is great. I stopped going to Chicken Kitchen ever since I ran into this place about 10 years ago or so. Great job, don't change!

They are remodeling the place inside so you cannot see the inside. You can only buy through the drive-through or pick it up. We got our food by pick up and we order a whole chicken with two entries. The chicken seasoning was extremely good and tender. The rice and the black beans were beyond amazing! The sauces were super tasty!! The best part about this place is the service. The two ladies that helped me out were extremely nice and I’m so happy to find people like this. Thank you so much for your hospitality and I cannot wait to go back!

Very clean location and food is great at reasonable prices. The only reason I wouldn't give them a five stars is due to service. From my experience last night, the girl at front looked frustrated, unhappy, and fed up with customers, the gentleman next to her was very kind thought. The register girl was rude as well.

I really enjoy the food and I believe the price is more than fair. Sometimes they cheap out though especially with the take out sauce quantity. If I want 4 curry sauces then just give me 4, why are you going to charge me extra?

I really love this place, admire the work ethic (and accessibility of its owners), and it far exceeds the competition in terms of quality and prices. However, I understand the pandemic may have impacted them as they are not near where they were before it (I am commenting on the store at 84th and Bird- the one I almost always frequent). I am sure they will continue to excel, and I will gladly give them all 5 stars (as they were worth pre-pandemic) in the near future.

The restaurant is a bit small, the drive thru and parking lot can be very tight but besides that the chicken sweet potato stacker is amazing here! If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out! It comes loaded with sour cream, guacamole, bacon bits, cheese, and a generous amount of chicken. The serving portion for what you pay for is outstanding! I wish they had more locations around South Florida!

Usually with the expansion of franchises, the flagship location loses quality in service and taste. Not here. 3 Chefs and a Chicken on Bird Road still delivers great service (looking at you drive thru order taker) and the food tastes amazing. Even when your partner says "I'm not super hungry, but I could eat,' this is the place you should go to.

Finding myself on the southwest side of 826 & starving, I stopped here. I must say that this place is worth the hype! For starters, their bowls - I ordered the Sweet T - are actually packed, with even a generous helping of chicken. The better known chicken bowl place tends to barely fill you with rice instead. The combination of fried sweet plantains, freshly cut tomatoes, lettuce that was fresh and crispy, and cool sour cream toppings hit the proverbial spot. Secondly, they still serve you a pita slice with your bowl. Let's not forget that they have cranberry dipping sauce too! The only drawback being the tight parking - although that speaks to it's popularity - this place is very much a reason to drive to Kendall!

Great tasting healthy eats. The drive thru is small and hard to maneuver. The parking lot is small and always crowded. If you are going during the lunch rush, park on the side street and walk in or you could be trapped due to the long drive thru line.

Good food but parking and drive thru are a really big mission. This place is always packed especially from 12-2ish. They're tomato basil soup really is one of the best I've tried. I have it everytime with the signature chefen.

This place has a lot of options of basically the same dish with different toppings. It’s a lot like chicken kitchen, but the portions are much bigger. The dishes are big enough for sharing. The sauces are too thick, almost like they didn’t get mixed for long enough. The last time I was there, I ordered two meals and a Kids meal, two tiny desserts, which were premade store-bought, I spent $67. That’s a lot for fast food. The food is OK. The drive-through line is always really long but it’s better than eating inside, where it’s kind of drab and dark.

I visited on 8/8/22 & I just want to say I totally APPRECIATE that they have signs everywhere pre warning you that the prices have gone up. (Although I do feel some places are milking that line) Nonetheless they at least tell you upfront. So I paid $14.49+tax for a total of $16.12 for ONE signature (just rice & chicken) Large meal. I do feel that is steep considering it's just rice & a not so big portion of chicken, but it was still delicious tasting & the sauces still yummy. I will say though the service the guys at checkout were totally slacking & not at all customer service friendly. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but if I'm in the area I guess I'll have it again.

The best yellow rice, baked beans, and chopped grilled chicken ever. But the drive-thru takes forever and the order is not always correct. It used to be $12.00 for a large now it's $17.00 which is kind of crazy, but delicious food and good portion sizes. Hope they make more locations in Miami.

The drive through took way too long only to find out that my order was missing 1 Master Chefen (large) and the Garlic Cilantro sauces. I immediately went back for my missing meal & sauces and the place was a smoke-filled room with a grey hazyines throughout the entire restaurant. The Cashier was very apologetic and It took less than 10 minutes to prepare the Master Chefen but the smell of smoke was so overwhelming. It seems their ventilation system wasn't working properly because when I left the restaurant, the smoke perminated into my hair & clothing. I had to take a 2nd shower just to get rid of the stench of charred smoked chicken all over my body😝

Food is good, we usually purchase a whole chicken with brown rice and beans when we receive coupons through the mail. The size of the chicken breasts are pretty small and all you get is 2 of their sauces, you need to pay extra if you want more. The black beans taste really good however if you're a big eater it may be a bit expensive.

Visited 27 July 2023 Discovered this place from Google Maps and initially impressed with the name. The catchy name prompted many thoughts about how three (3) chefs can truly bring some creative mixes to formulating different recipes. The grilled smell hit me from the parking lot and the open kitchen concept brought it all in and thumbs up was in order, but short lived. The chicken was not marinated and dry (over grilled perhaps). Men's restroom toilet had a hand towel laying next to it, door handle was sticky, lingering smell inside, and nobody wiped a table off for the time we we inside. Underwhelmed, but the potential to do better is there. Good luck Chefs (3x)...

The food is excellent in quality and value, and the customer service is friendly. But they have clearly outgrown this location. It's unreasonable to ask your customers to wait 15-20 minutes at the drive-thru. Until they're able to expand and speed up service without sacrificing product quality, I likely won't be returning.

I really enjoy the food here but I cant unnoticed how worry free the employees are. My husband and I went for a quick lunch the place was empty at 2:00 and the employees are all talking away while the dining room tables are all dirty with food, sauce containers on the floor, fruit flies in the soda station and yet they seem oblivious to these things.

Ok so a co worker and i went to get lunch for a couple co workers..... please make sure the staff you have in the front of your store are people people and not rude. Negative comments can ruin a business. Yes unfortunately some of the staff was rude and we waited to be served as if they didn't see us standing there... no one even said stressed us after standing there for a couple minutes. Finally the cashier walked over to start fixing our orders. Maybe we sound have walked in being loud and arrogant to get their attention. But that doesn't work for me exorbitant while in uniform. Do better 3 chefs and a chicken. Just horrible. I truly wanted to just leave. HORRIBLE SERVICE. But thank you to the cashier that did her due diligence. We appreciated you.

I really want to love 3 chefs, but the chicken is so dry and flavorless! You have to douse everything in sauce if you want some action on your tastebuds and I can't say I'm a fan of any of their sauces. It's unfortunate because this location is great! You can't beat the convenience of the drive thru. They did such a great job with the interior, there's tons of comfy booth seating and they also have outdoor seating. Can't go without mentioning the service was great during the lunch rush on Thursday. Sadly, I just can't get passed the chicken.

The food is good, but prices just keep increasing to much. I used to go for my lunch and it would cost me around 12 and today when I went the same exact food cost me over 18. Way to much of an increase in to short of a time. 3 chefs and a chicken your food might be good but it’s not worth over 18 dollars for lunch.

Used to be my go-to place, but prices here have gotten crazy recently. I can buy 2 whole chickens almost anywhere else for the price of a single chop. Protein portions have gotten smaller over time. They give plenty of rice, but chicken portions have shrunk, especially on large chops. Their whole chickens and half chickens are also very small and pricey. Its just very expensive for what you get.

Sunday 11, 2026 - 12:35pm. I just went to 3 Chef and a Chicken Drive-thru - . Ordered the following and I had a coupon that expires on Feb 1, 2026. The person at the window said "we don't accept this coupon any more". I said "Why Not". She said " We Don't". I said "Can I talk to the Manager", She responded "there is no manager". She continued "Do you want the food Yes or Not?". I responded "Fine". I responded What a service by this employee"

This has got to be the the wost potatoe stacker I have ever had, and the service made me feel like I was somewhere in bad part of Havana... The potatoe was not coooked (hard as a rock) the guacamole was horrible tasting. The service, employees talking and ignoring your paying customers . The language (acere y consorte) direct from the other side of the tracks in Havana.. You have got my last dollar and those of everyone I can reach out to.. By far the worst experiance and food I've ever had. I wish zero's were available because its whats deserved.. Bad service starts at the top. The fact that they have a large amount of bad reviews and most are about service and quality of food and not one has any comments from the owner says a whole lot about the company.

Not one to leave reviews but this has got to be one of the most disgusting & tasteless places I’ve been to. Not only are you paying extra for sides(which is fine, don’t mind) but for it to be so expensive and look and taste disgusting(picture below) what waste of food and money. Never again, rather go to pollo tropical or la brasa and pay the extra money on the sides there then to come here ever again

The quality of the food has declined tremendously!! I went 7/21/2021 around 11:30am. The rice was soft and zero flavor, the curry sauce zero flavor, the baked plantains aren’t edible. No customer service whatsoever, you’re not even acknowledged. I’ve been disappointed the past 3 times. I used to love this place, I wonder if it was sold, I doubt the original owners would have let it this bad.

No idea what happened, but I got my usual which I love, the sweet potato stacker. It was the worst sweet potato stacker or not I’ve ever had. The potato wasn’t fully cooked. The majority of the potato was hard. Not edible. The trimmings bacon, guacamole, sour cream, and cheese were minimal and only on a corner of a hugh potato. It had enough chicken, but dry. What’s wrong. I should have returned it instead of throwing it away. What a waste!

My first time at this place, I don't know why it gets high reviews. Went today, Saturday, around 2:30 PM. Maybe there is new management/ownership? About the place: Filthy, disgusting. there is a fat guy doing nothing in front of the soda machines while all the tables are dirty, I have to tell him so he could clean one for us. Even doing so, he did a lousy job, with a dirty-smelly rag, we couldn't sit because he threw everything from the table to the seats. Floor is nasty and so are the windows. Hey! Dollar Tree sells Windex for a dollar! The forks and spoons were dirty and all mixed up with the spoons and knives. Also, the plastic ware is the cheapest there is, the forks brake just by touching them. About the food: I bought a whole chicken. It was the driest piece of chicken I've ever had, we couldn't eat it! About the crew: Way too many young people talking sh... and no taking care of customers. I almost had to scream to one of them to get a box to go. ... And hell they were rude! Manager is nowhere to be seen around

This location is a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is good but the majority of the time you get col food and hard white rice.

Not a fan at all. I've tried a couple times before, but I think today was the last. The garden salad with chicken was terrible. Very dry chicken and the veggies were almost non-existent. The iceberg lettuce looked like it was going bad. The only decent thing was the dressing. I should've bought a bagged salad and fixed something better. I think they should offer a better salad.

This place was great when it opened. I moved away from Miami and use to love coming back every time I was in town but Right now nov. 2022 the inside is extremely dirty, the lamp in the middle is caked in dust so much that it’s not even white anymore. The soda machine is full of pink mold and today there were Flies on the cheese!!! And the price is out of control for 5 small meals it was $75! They charged me $5.04 for two spoon fulls of sour cream. Will not be returning ever again. I see the brothers have let this place GO.

Very disappointed with the service this evening. Waited for about 20 min in the driveway with only 2 cars ahead. I finally called to speak to someone inside to see what was going on. They were having computer problems and then had us come inside instead. My server scratched his nose with gloved hands. He then proceeded to handle food. At the cashier they were having more difficulties and were only accepting cash. A lot of the servers were standing around just chatting while a line was forming. I understand that service standards are lower now than before. However the lack of hygiene and common sense was just too much. I hope the owners see this post.

Old / stale pitas, out of the freezer bag “platanitos” and a sloppy presentation due to them overloading the container in order to justify the price. The chicken and the curry sauce were flavorful.

This was the worst fast food I have ever been to. The manager was extremely rude and yelled at me for no reason and refused to accommodate me. The customer service is horrible here and she should be fired. They charge extra for substitutions related to allergies and refused to help the customer. Further the food is average at best anyway I will never be eating at 3chefs again unless there is a change. They over charge for changes to the meal and refuse to offer decent customer service. I will be eating at pollo tropical that is 100x better

Absolutely gross!!! I went to the Dadeland location on 9/6 through the drive-way for the first and last time. The chicken had a raw unseasoned flavor, took one bite and had to spit it out. I ordered a side of corn and that was even worse with a very weird flavor that was not fresh corn, also had to spit out. When I pulled up the cashier window there was a dirty odor that was spewing out that hit right in the face. The whole experience was disappointing and gross.

Horrible experience this afternoon. I had ordered 3 meals via drive through but only to arrive home and find HUMAN HAIR in all 3 of the meals. Totally DISGUSTING!!! I drove back to the restaurant to bring this to the attention of 1 of the brothers but told none of them were in. I spoke to "Michael" who was very understanding of the situation. He offered to redo and reprepare the meals under his supervision and he did but when I arrived at my destination all 3 of denied the meals. Let me say, the restaurant's cleanliness, the quality has really gone down. I remember being 1 of their first customers when they opened 11/12 years ago and it is mind-blowing to think this happened today. The brothers were so involved, so dedicated. Very sad..

Decided to give this place a try while visiting, The food is not worth the price I paid for some chicken and rice, Pollo Tropical is a Fraction of the price and imo way better, wonder where the so called 3 chefs went to school lol how do you make a drumstick and thigh dry? This place should be called 3 thefts and chicken! The exorbitant prices for just plain rice and grilled chicken is not worth it ! Another grilled chicken chain does much better than here . I ordered their so called signature dish . Didn’t include beans or salad for exorbitant charge of $10 . Went back and asked for beans and they charged $3 more! No need to say I am never coming back to this place.

Been coming here for years, food quality is declining, prices sky rocketing. A large general use to be 12$, now it's almost $15. The rice tastes old, like they use reheated food from the previous day. This is the last time I come here.

If I could give negative stars I would - customer service is beyond horrible! They used to be good when they first started but the quality continues to decline and despite our informing them, they do not care - I ordered a chefen tonight but they forgot the chicken (5 little pieces of chicken) - when I called they didn't care all they said was that they will give me a 10% off my next order 😠 they lost my family and I as customers! They've continued raising their prices and giving less chicken - their containers used to be good too but since the pandemic they started suing cheap foam ones but the prices continue up - save your money and go somewhere else - they do not care about their loyal customers

First time visiting this restaurant. Ordered via drive-through. Ordered whole chicken, rice, beans, and corn. Chicken was dry and tasteless. Beans were SPOILED. They smelled and tasted sour upon opening. Glad I tried them before feeding my one year old. Was hopeful due to good reviews. First and last time I visit this place.

Terrible. Food was dry had no flavor, over cooked and thenchicken looked like baby chickens. Food had no taste and the service wqs not to good. That being said I may in the future give them another visit to see if they have improved

I'm a huge fan of 3 Chefs and a Chicken, but I could not recommend this location any less. You'll save money driving to the other location in South Miami on US1 and 57th avenue because the portions here are a joke relative to how much I paid. The service was pretty poor, with the employees giving attitude and giving very little care into preparing your food. They practically ignored my order and its specifications and if I'm paying $21 for a bowl, it better be perfect, not something I practically didn't order that has an $8 value. Don't come here - the worst. Definitely go to the other location or to literally any Chicken Kitchen, they're always better.

Quarter chicken meal was $15 but seemed as if I was paying for the sides and the service cause the food wasn’t acceptable. I thought pollo tropical was bad but I think they got competition after getting the smallest quarter chicken meal ever. I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore.

This restaurant was once good and once was affordable for a family to get a good quick meal. I bought 3 chefens and large mac and cheese. I spent almost $60 for bland rice, dry chicken, wilted lettuce and a wet pita bread. I almost didn’t take it. I regret not sending it back tbh. I know prices have gone up but I feel fully taken advantage of, considering similar chicken places are not this overpriced. Never again sorry.

I visited the restaurant to pick up my food. I enjoyed the food, but I noticed that they charge 3.99% of your bill. On top of that, they don’t inform you if you want to pay cash. I can save that 3.99% for interest. We’re not talking about Pollo Tropical prices here; they charge about $16 per meal. Come on, people!

First time here and what an unfriendly welcome! I entered the premise today, (March 6, at 11:56 am) and an employee by the hanging sign that says "order here" asks me in a bad tone "can I help you" and I said I want to order the whole chicken special for $12.99 that's on the sign outside, she responds again in a negative tone, "that's only Sat & Sun, today is Friday"!!!. Honestly, none of the employees in there looked hospitable, they all gave out negative vibes! I'll add also the exterior walkway needs a pressure cleaning treatment. No music in there as well. I didn't make it to the bathrooms but I can imagine they're probably not kept clean. This is certainly not a good way to gain a customer but rather a good way to loose customers by word of mouth! I am not stepping in here again, ever!!!

Last night, February 17, 2026, I ordered a meal and a kids meal by drive-thru. When I got to the window to pay, I asked the cashier if I could have skin on the side. She asked me “did you say that earlier?“ I said “no.” She rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen to get the side of skin. Needless to say, it was not cut up and it was ice cold. The prices have gone up and the service has gotten terrible. It’s not what it used to be!

Hace tiempo compro en este lugar y siempre me gustó la comida y el servicio que tienen. Pero hoy hice un pedido online, y para mi sorpresa, la comida dejaba mucho de desear. El pollo más pequeño que he visto y además casi quemado. Las papas Idaho en casi mal estado, que tuve que botarla a la basura. Todo con muy mala presentación y mal elaborado. Es una pena que no supervisen estos pedidos, porque creo que si siguen asi, van a perder más clientes. Para aclarar, me refiero al que esta en la 40 y la 82 ave
