I’d like to recommend the Sunday brunch at Zuma. I made a reservation in advance because I had heard great things about it and was already familiar with Zuma from other countries, so I knew it would be good. But to our surprise, it’s even better! Haha. There are three pricing options: USD 108 (without drinks included); 148, 178, and 368 (all with drinks included and unlimited champagne — the prices vary depending on the champagne brand). The food is all-you-can-eat and features everything delicious you can imagine. To make it even better, the place is beautiful, right on the waterfront in Brickell. It’s worth every penny!! I would go back every Sunday.
We went to Zuma Miami for Sunday brunch to celebrate my birthday with three little kids and from the moment we arrived, everything was beyond perfect. The gentleman at the front welcomed us so warmly and even took a picture of us, instantly making us feel special and celebrated. The vibe was incredible: beautiful boats outside, great music, great people, and such an uplifting energy all around. The food was extraordinary honestly some of the best in Miami. Every dish was perfection. The champagne service was amazing our waiter kept the glasses full with such great energy and attention. And of course… caviar is always a great idea. Even with three small children, we felt completely taken care of and comfortable. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was magical, and the entire experience felt luxurious yet warm and welcoming. This wasn’t just a brunch it was a memory. Thank you, Zuma Miami, for making my birthday so special. We can’t wait to come back. 🥂✨
I had an absolutely delightful birthday dinner here and wouldn’t trade it for the world! We chose to have the Omakase and it was absolute perfection. I’ve had Omakase meals around the world, and this, by far, was the best. I’ll let the pictures do the talking, but you have to try it to understand.
Went here for a special occasion and it was well worth the money. Service was excellent. The vibes were great with great music. The place has a nice high end look with modern look. The presentation for the food was very pretty. Everything tasted great. The drinks were pretty and balanced with alcohol and taste. Will definitely be back. Thanks
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the cocktails were perfectly crafted. The service was attentive, friendly, and professional, which made our visit even more enjoyable. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly return.
Zuma Miami offers a top-tier contemporary Japanese dining experience. The cuisine is outstanding, offering fresh and innovative dishes. The atmosphere is vibrant and chic, making it a perfect spot for a special night out. The service is always impeccable and attentive.
It was Tuesday and it was packed! I’m a big Zuma fan and it never disappoints. Everything tastes phenomenal, great vibe!
One of the best dining and hospitality experiences I've ever had. The staff took a lot of time to understand what kind of meal I was looking for while offering me a unique/exotic experience as a traveller. The 12-course meal was supreme. But beyond that, they gave me the best dessert I've ever had, and even personalized it with a welcome note as a first-timer. Never had a restaurant do that, and I'll be visiting their franchise somewhere else. Many thanks to those who worked when I was there on 11/7.
We love this place. The concept of tasting course and all the dishes for share is incredible. 100% recommendable!!!!!
Amazing experience! The guy (Joshua) served us was very lovely, recommended us to get the spicy tofu salad and gosh it was the best tofu I have had ever! Sadly I did not take a picture of the salad, but have added pictures on the outdoor area, which offers amazing views.
Thank you so much for hosting my friends birthday the other night. The service was incredible and we really needed a private area to engage. Food was nothing less than amazing!! Our server was incredible I wish I got his name! Thank you to the manager who let us change tables! I appreciate you all so much.
We had a negative experience with rude staff at Area 31 so we decided to go to Zuma for drinks and desserts. The hostess and staff at Zuma were amazing. They made up for the rude staff at Area 31 and made our last night at the hotel enjoyable. Our dessert and drinks were delicious. Highly recommended.
Great sushi and sashimi right on the river in Miami Downtown. Amazing views and Amazing service. Definitely a must when craving amazing Japanese in Miami.
Waterfront dining right on the Miami River, elevated design, a luxe yet relaxed vibe. Cuisine & Concept: Izakaya‐style sharing menu that blends sushi, robata grill & contemporary Japanese flavors. A fine choice for business dinners, celebrations or stylish nights out.
Kasim turned this beloved Miami restaurant around a few years ago and continues to keep the place excellent. The Service, food and most importantly the welcoming upscale ambiance are Unmatched!
What a great restaurant! Our server Mariano, was very professional, knowledgable, and extremely helpful. He guided us through the menu and even provided me with a stain remover after I stained my white shirt. We were tremendously impressed with the service, ambiance, and food presentation. In addition, the food was very tasty and unique and very flavorful. This a 5 star and beyond restaurant! We will definitely return.

Best brunch in town if you like raw fish sushi oysters and scallops, and high end meats . 100% worth the price I want to be here every Sunday

Omg, everything was just outstanding: the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We went to try the Miami Spice menu and it was beyond delicious. Portions were generous, and honestly, half of the dishes never made it into photos because we couldn’t resist diving right in. Our server, Vasilij, was incredible, attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm. If every restaurant had people like him, dining out would always be a joy. The hostess greeted us with a big smile and gave us a beautiful table right by the window, where we could enjoy stunning views of passing yachts. The atmosphere was elegant yet vibrant, with stylishly dressed guests and a lively but comfortable vibe. We were celebrating our anniversary, and it was so thoughtful that every staff member who interacted with us took a moment to congratulate us, it made the evening feel even more special. And the desserts… wow. As a huge sweet lover, I can say they were absolutely to die for, easily among the best I’ve had in Miami. This place has definitely become my new favorite restaurant. Just a tip: it’s better to take an Uber, as valet parking can take a bit of time.
Truly an outstanding experience. If you are looking for wonderful views, great service and terrific food, you will find it here. I think I might have had one of the best steaks of my life. Everything was a work of art. The menu has something for everyone.

One of the best brunch experiences in Miami. The food quality is top-notch, with a great variety and excellent service. The place itself is beautiful. Although it is expensive, it is totally worth it.
Genuinely have not had such a lovely brunch in such a long time!!! The drinks were amazing, food was such good quality and beautifully presented, but the hostess’ and our server Alex was AMAZING!! So informative, quick service, the BEST hospitality and even surprised us with a congratulations special lava cake when I mentioned opening a bakery!! 1000% will be back and asking for Alex again! If you go, I suggest you do the same!! My favorite dishes were the mushroom rice hot pot, the steak and noodles were so delicious!!
We thoroughly enjoyed Zuma. My husband had the fatty tuna roll which he raved about. I had the black cod and it was exceptional! The best I ever had. We shared the banana pistachio cake and it was divine. Highly recommend Zuma.
Came here on a Wednesday and it was packed. Great ambience for a night out with DJ and a terrace. Delicious Japanese food, specially the rolls. Portions are small, so I suggest ordering many dishes to the center to share. The rock shrimp come in a very small portion, I would recommend to order 1 Per 2 persons. Ask for the lava cake that’s not on the menu, delicious !!
I like Japanese cuisine and Zuma is a great place to be for that. They are close to Miami Beach. Reservation is important in advance and it could take a awhile to get you desired date. They have a dress code. Shorts are not allowed. You can park your boat and get lunch served. Service was impeccable and we went with lunch menu. Server was very knowledgeable and helped me with my order as I have food restrictions.
Excellent level of service. The food presentation was outstanding. It’s very apparent that all of the staff are extremely knowledgeable about every item on the menu- and they are passionate about the food the offer. Highlights from the menu (while everything was delicious) were: grilled tiger prawns, the tuna and salmon caviar, and the black cod.
Zuma Zuma Zuma! Best brunch ever! I’ve gone for dinner and lunch for many years but today I tried the brunch and I was blown away. As a private chef i can be very critical but they mastered the art of a buffet brunch. From The sushi to the robata everything was perfectly executed. It was my mom’s special birthday and they made it extra special.
We came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and the only word that I have to say is delicious!! We had a wonderful experience, from the ambiance, the decor, settings just overall experience was great. The food!!! Everything we ordered tasted so good. The service is above and beyond.
Excellent service and excellent food. The drinks are good and strong. Zuma is pricey but worth it because of the impeccable service and food. The restaurant is modern yet warm. The corn is amazing! It is a must try!! Everything here tasted good and didn't feel too fancy or like one of those frou frou dining establishments where you feel like you have to act a certain way. We sat outside and had the best views. It was a very pleasant birthday dinner with girlfriends. Very enjoyable and we can't wait to go back and eat more amazing food. Their Sunday brunch is also magnificent! Food and service is consistently good.
Zuma restaurant continues to impress with its unwavering consistency and excellence. Nestled within the realm of Asian sushi cuisine, Zuma delivers an extraordinary dining experience from start to finish. The service at Zuma is impeccable, showcasing a blend of attentiveness and professionalism that elevates the entire meal. From the moment you step in, you're greeted warmly and guided through a culinary journey that's both delightful and memorable. Now, let's talk about the food—truly the star of the show. Zuma boasts a remarkable menu with standout dishes like the Wagyu beef, Gyoza and an exquisite assortment of fresh sushi that's a testament to the chef's expertise and dedication to quality. One cannot overlook the Robata grill, a personal favorite that never fails to impress with its flavors and presentation. Despite not having visited in years, returning to Zuma is like rediscovering a culinary oasis. The ambiance remains inviting, the flavors remain exceptional, and the overall experience remains unparalleled. Zuma restaurant stands as a beacon of culinary excellence, a place where every dish tells a story of passion and mastery. It's a delight to dine here, and each visit leaves you craving more.
Zuma is an absolute gem! From the stunning decor to the impeccable service, everything feels upscale yet inviting. The sushi is incredibly fresh, and every dish from the robata to the cocktails was bursting with flavor. Perfect spot for a date night or special celebration. Definitely one of my top dining experiences!
I recently dined at Zuma in Miami, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely amazing—each dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The ambience was equally stunning, with a vibrant atmosphere that enhanced our meal. The music complemented the setting perfectly, creating a lively yet relaxed vibe. Overall, everything was worth every moment spent there. Highly recommended!
We started brunch at Zuma Miami with very fresh oysters and caviar, which helped justify the price. For two people, including champagne, tax, and tip, the total came to around $400. The spread of food was impressive — no lobster, but a generous selection of maki rolls and a solid assortment of nigiri. Everything was high quality, beautifully presented, and service was smooth throughout. Overall, it felt like a well-curated, indulgent experience that delivered good value for a luxury Miami brunch.
Had my 30th birthday dinner here, and what an amazing and unforgettable experience it was! From the environment, service, food, drinks - exceptional in all the best ways! We had the Omakase/tasting menu… SO many delicious courses! The desserts were amazing, too! HUGE shout out to the entire team that took care of us: Carina, Victor, Andrea, Vlad, and the best server ever: Max! Thank y’all for the best birthday dinner ever!
We have been to Zuma many times! Our experience last night was the best one, thanks to Shehla! She made our wedding anniversary special with her kindness, attention, and great energy. She went above and beyond by taking our picture and keep our champagne/cocktails flowing. The music was also a great mix and had everyone dancing! The food was also phenomenal as always. Thank you Zuma for making our annual anniversary celebration special and huge shout out to Shehla!
Zuma never disappoints, I’m actually surprised I haven’t posted review about them yet, because we like to go there and like to bring friends when they come over to visit. This past Sunday we went there with my mom and our friend out of town and we absolutely loved the experience. They did change a few things at their brunch setup and omg you must love their dessert section. Also, our waiter was a guy by the name Max and he was outstanding. Probably first time when I felt writing this review because of the service he provided us with. Thank you Max, thank you Zuma! We will be back!
100% recommended!!! We came for the miami spice menu and we left so full!! The exquisite food and staff were the perfect combination for a magnificent lunch!!! The design of the restaurant is gorgeous and the attention to detail on the plating definitely shows the passion for food!!
Came here for dinner and had an amazing time! Everything I ordered was delicious, the views of all the yachts passing by was entertaining and the customer service was amazing! I will definitely return to Zuma on my next trip to Miami.
Yes everything was great except the valet. It took over a half hour to get our car after they told us it would take twenty minutes! It kinda ruined an incredible evening! See if you can do anything about their very inefficient process!!?? I know they’re busy but it’s kind of ridiculous and makes you guys look bad!!
Had a great experience at Zuma Miami for a friend’s birthday. Our waitress, Andrea, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and even convinced me to try sushi I normally wouldn’t.. glad I did! Marcos overheard our celebration and surprised us with complimentary champagne, then helped us pick a great wine. The place was spotless, the food was top notch, and the staff was on point all around. Highly recommend.
One fine meal. Service was above expectation. Claire made us feel welcome and appreciated. She was not at all intrusive, but kept coming back to make sure everything was well. We chose a fixed menu for our dinner, and had the opportunity to taste various menu items. Cocktails were great too. Dined outside which appears to enhance the experience, as others have pointed out here. All experiences are unique but I do not think this restaurant will disappoint you.
If you’re looking to impress your date or just trying to find something more sophisticated for you and the wife. Look no further. Zuma is elegant yet welcoming. The food is fantastic, the scallops were cooked to perfection.
Start with the attentive staff. Super friendly and nice. Unforgettable dining experience with its impeccable Japanese cuisine, stylish ambiance. From sushi to robata grill, each dish impresses with bold flavors. Perfect for any occasion, Zuma Miami sets the bar high for upscale dining in the city
Spectacular. Incredible. Amazing. This was one of the absolute BEST DINNERS of my life! The wait staff, mangers, were all on top of there game! I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves in a moment. I’d highly recommend uber/taxi. The location of the building is one of the most heavily traffic areas in Miami. I’d never drive or park because it’s simply hell. Food is top notch, five stars. My wife and I are going to be regulars here from now on!
We have been to zuma numerous times and the food and experience is always amazing but tonight was exceptional. If you go, you have to ask for Mariano. He is the best waiter I have ever had. Very attentive and kind. He is so knowledgeable about every dish and each zuma restaurant around the world. 11/10 experience with him.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had such a great time at Zuma Miami! The food was super tasty — fresh, delicious, and everything was just full of flavor. Omg, The view! Sitting by the river while eating made the whole experience even better. It’s super relaxing, perfect for a date night or just catching up with friends. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for amazing food with a beautiful view and excellent service. Thanks Alexander 🤞
Based on one visit, where I was not paying the bill: The food is excellent, as was the service. It is a very nice atmosphere as well. The rice hot pot is incredibly flavorful, the beef is cooked expertly, The sushi was very good, everything was beautifully presented. It is expensive to my tastes, and it is very good food.
We sat at the bar for pre drinks and had a chance to visit with the bartender, Mateo. He was great! He recommended the Omakase paired with the IWA 5 sake and it was probably the best meal we’ve had in Miami! Unbelievable food and great service as well. Mateo is the man! We will be back every time we come to Miami.
Brandon our main server was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t say enough nice things if I tried. I didn’t catch the ladies name who helped with picking out the wine and making suggestions but she was wonderful as well.My friend and I were there on 10/05 as we had a short stop in Miami. The premium tasting menu was divine. The whole staff was amazing!
Always an amazing experience at Zuma Miami. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels lively, stylish, and welcoming. The staff is genuinely kind and attentive to every detail! Everyone is friendly, helpful, and always on top of things which make this experience a 10 out of 10. The food is always delicious and beautifully prepared. Their brunch is hands down one of my favorites in Miami. There is a great variety of options, especially if you love sushi. Everything tastes fresh and delicious, and there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. The sushi selection during brunch is incredible and easy to go back for seconds. But there isn’t just sushi. They also have a verity of deserts which is so nice and when I went there was even a chocolate fountain. When I visited, the outside section was open, which made the experience even better. Sitting outside added such a great vibe and really elevated the brunch experience. Zuma is a perfect spot for brunch with friends, celebrating something special, like birthdays. I went with family and had a great time, as always. I always leave executed and already planning my next visit. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back again. Every time feels completely worth it there. The building itself is also gorgeous.
I had my birthday dinner on a saturday night and the place was so fun! The staff was amazing and super friendly. We were a group of 7 - there was a dj but the music wasnt too loud that you couldnt talk, they made us feel super welcome and gave suggestions on dishes. The dessert was incredible and all the sushi was so fresh and tasty. Everyone was very happy the lychee martini was out of this world. The staff is the best part everyone was amazing! Rock hard
From the moment we arrived, the experience at Zuma was nothing short of exceptional. The host staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, setting the tone for what became a truly memorable evening. Our server was outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful with recommendations. The pacing of the meal was perfect, and the entire experience felt effortless and personal. Every interaction felt natural and sincere, which we all genuinely appreciated. Even the music was perfectly suited to the environment, adding to the overall atmosphere without ever feeling intrusive. The food was simply superb. The sashimi in particular was a standout and quickly became the favorite of our entire table. I was dining with international friends, all of whom were completely blown away by the quality and execution. They made a point of saying they would absolutely return on their next trip. What really elevated the evening was the personal touch from Julia, the manager, who checked in on us and made sure everyone was happy and enjoying themselves. She was warm, engaging, and clearly cares deeply about the guest experience. It is rare to find a restaurant that delivers so consistently across every aspect. Service, atmosphere, food, and genuine hospitality. Zuma made every one of us feel truly well taken care of and valued. An exceptional dining experience in every sense. Five stars without hesitation.
Zuma Miami This is a fantastic place to enjoy exceptional quality food and a high-end dining experience. From start to finish, everything is carefully thought out, from the music to the ambiance. The food is designed for sharing, with smaller portions that entice you to order a variety of dishes. Whether sushi, fish, meat or other specialties, each dish is crafted to perfection, as is their Ebisu menu. Pair it with their impressive cocktail and wine selection and you have an unforgettable evening. It was a wonderful dining experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and excellent service. Thanks to the entire Zuma team for giving us an amazing evening🥂
We have not been here in years, especially since we moved to the beach. I am so glad we came back this Sunday for a delicious brunch experience. All of the food was really great but the standout was the hospitality that I do not remember from past visits. In particular Claire our server and the very tapper manager , I believe his name is Kasim, were very competent, friendly and on top of things. As I am in hospitality myself I also noticed that literally everyone we come in touch with made proper eye contact, smiled and were genuinely interested in providing kind and warm service. Congratulations and thank you.

I loved the sea bass with a green chili coriander sauce, chutoro sashimi, and Wagyu dumplings. Service was great and views unbeatable. Also appreciated the hostess for seating us early when we showed up 1/2 hour before the res. Of the three times I e been here in five years this was the best time.
Absolutely amazing for Saturday and Sunday brunch. You will want to make a reservation online or by calling several days beforehand. The variety, uniqueness, and savor of the food ensures a one-of-a-kind brunch experience. The Saturday and Sunday brunch is an all-inclusive buffet style, presented in a luxurious and the elevated way. Even though it is described as a Japanese style restaurant, and the brunch selection does encompasses the Japanese cuisine, the selection of foods goes even beyond in its variety of options. Make sure you save time and space for the dessert selection as well. We opt for outside dining alongside the water, but the inside tables are very nice as well. There is more room for larger groups inside and is somewhat limited outside. Highly recommend and a must-experience dining experience in Miami.

What an amazing experience at Zuma! Matteo, our “cocktail artist” crafted the most amazing drinks! His personality and service is what shined above anything else! The food was excellent and atmosphere was beautiful. We had the opportunity to have the restaurant all to ourselves while enjoying cocktails at the bar around 5pm and started eating Around 6, so we had our own “personal experience” that did not disappoint. We enjoyed the Miso cod, the Bronzino (Which was amazing ), baked potato (not your mom’s baked potato), cheesecake, lava cake. We will definitely be back!
Brunch is incredible…. From the selection of food and how fresh it is. The hospitality is beyonddd and the music from Dj to live guitar player was incredible!!! This is by far the best brunch in Miami and the staff is phenomenal!!! We will keep coming back! Big thanks to the sexy door guy ow ow
Food was very delicious with great variety. I strongly recommend the Tempura Lobster, Alaskan Crab, Wagyu Gyoza, and the yellowtail roll. Service is on point, Brandon was our server and between his attentiveness and recommendations he made the experience fantastic. Ambiance is romantic and fun all together. Music and vibes were immaculate, I recommend requesting outside seating. Cocktails also very well done, we had the Japanese Margaritas. The only things to keep in mind before going are that the prices are high, and don’t expect the largest portions.
This place was amazing! The food was top notch, from appetizers to entrees to dessert. The service was also great. We had the best bartender, Matteo, who takes pride in what he does and the drinks were great. Camilo was our waiter, and he was also fantastic. Can’t say enough about this restaurant, would most definitely recommend.

Zuma Miami is a great spot if you’re looking for an elevated dining experience with a beautiful ambiance. I loved the atmosphere: very stylish, lively, and being so close to the water makes it even more special since you can see it from inside, which adds a lot to the overall vibe but the music was too loud for me. The food was very, very good. I highly recommend the cod, the torched nigiris, and especially the hamachi crudo with truffle — all of them were delicious and well executed. That said, the service was a bit slow for my liking. Also, it’s definitely on the pricier side, so keep that in mind when you go. They offer valet parking, which costs around $35. Overall, a great place for the ambiance and food!

Celebrating friends engagement with a delicious dinner at Zuma. We all did the Miami spice menu, also ordered some sashimi and nigiri from the standard menu. The som made a great recommendation and the bottle we ordered paired nicely with our dinner. The food was amazing! The service was also overall great, very attentive to detail and very polite. I would give 5 stars but my partner kept noticing all the tables around us were being served food significantly faster than our table. In my opinion this wasn't such a big deal, impossible to know which tables got their orders in first. Atmosphere amazing; however, AC needs to be turned up a bit considering the open kitchen is hot and ... Open! Haha. We also received some free dishes due to mistakes made by food runners. Not going to complain ab that 😅.
The Miami Spice menu drew me in. So i tried to make a reservation, for 1, but couldn't do it online. So i called... And they don't take reservations for 1, but if there was room i could sit at either the bar or sushi bar. Sushi Bar for 1, please. Dishes arrived mostly one by one, and they were well paced. Dinner started with two dishes - steamed spinach and seabass sashimi. The steamed spinach was covered in a heavy coat of sesame dressing, too heavy for my taste. It was like the spinach had been dragged through a pot of tahini. I was suddenly worried that I'd picked the wrong spot for dinner. The next fish i messed up eating as i misunderstood the instructions. The instructions were given to me twice both times rapid fire. I should have asked a third time and told them to slow it down. I ate the fish separately from the truffle and roe. The truffle and roe should have been on top of the fish. This dish even with my faulty consumption was better than the spinach. I'm still a little worried I'd picked very poorly for dinner. The third dish delivered completed the appetizer course. It was spicy fried chicken. It was good. Maybe dinner wouldn't be terrible. Next came "course two", some salmon nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. They were all good. Not great, but good. Okay, so now dinner was almost good. Now for "course three", corn on the cob plus a beef filet. The corn was tender and delicious, but I didn't enjoy the corn stuck in my teeth. The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and sliced into pieces ready to eat with chopsticks. The sauce was delicious...i wanted to lick it off the plate. Dinner was now good. The final course was"dessert", lava cake. The chocolate sauce was plentiful and very hot. I left full. Glad I'd tried Zuma. But i don't have any desire to return.
A well-known brand Zuma in Miami is holding up the standard, although the one in NYC is nicer. While it is very popular for dinner, their business Lunch and weekend buffet brunch are amazing! For business lunch you get to choose 4 small (and not so small) plate options from a list. All of that is shareable, so you can try a lot of things from the menu. I love their non alcoholic green match iced tea, which is sweetened with passion fruit syrup, yum! With weekend brunch you can choose the level of champagne or go without one.
When you think of Zuma you think of class and service. It’s been like that for years. But there is so much competition in restaurant world in Miami that the need to be perfect to get a 5 star. The food there is still very good and the servers are good looking and professional. It’s a good ambiance. Some food could be improved. The tiger prawn 🍤 tempura is an example of a dish that needs improvement. The fried batter is very thick with flour making it not enjoyable. I still go back from time to time
Zuma has officially become my favorite spot in the city, and every visit feels like a memorable experience. This time, I had the lobster, and without exaggeration, it was the best I’ve had in a long time—fresh, succulent, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a true delight for the senses. However, my only complaint was the service, which wasn’t as attentive as I would have liked. Despite that, what really elevated the experience was the dessert. The chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream was simply outstanding. The contrast between the rich, creamy chocolate and the refreshing vanilla ice cream was the perfect combination to end the night. Zuma never fails to impress me with its quality and ambiance, though I hope the service improves next time
Excellent experience. The terrace overlooking the river is lovely and entertaining. Our server, who was from Italy, was excellent. He knew the menu and gave great advice. The salad with crab and tobiko is one of the best things I’ve had in a very long time. Ditto the baked potato with miso butter. I hope they never take it off the menu.
Went for dinner with a reservation. Beautiful venue with outdoor seating next to the channel. Great views and atmosphere while dining. Ordered several plates and drinks. Service was good, only issue was after ordering a bottle of sake during our initial drink order, it took over and hour to be brought to us. We asked for it to just be canceled but manager comped the bottle due to deal. Desserts were phenomenal and the food was delicious. I highly recommend coming here for a romantic dinner.
Stylish spot with a great atmosphere and a strong menu, especially if you’re into sushi and Japanese dishes. The cocktails and desserts are also a nice touch, and the service usually feels attentive. Prices run on the higher side, but the overall experience still makes it a good place for a special night out.
We went to Zuma Miami for their 4th of July event ($140 a person) and honestly… wouldn’t do it again. The cocktails were solid, the views and crowd were beautiful, but the food was underwhelming. You could get plenty of sushi rolls, but there were only three kinds, plus some grilled meats. The biggest letdown? Hardly any view of the actual fireworks, just their reflection off nearby buildings. Oh, and they somehow tried charging me for four tickets when I only bought one (I kept getting errors one I tried to place the order). Hoping that sorts itself out. Bathrooms were clean, I even managed to poop, rarely happens at establishments. Overall, not worth it.
the cocktails & ambiance are the reason to go. get the passionfruit cocktail, but honestly all the drinks were delicious. in terms of food & service, there were a lot of misses. the beef and scallop skewers were solid. the steak was fatty, but not rendered properly, so it was really hard to eat the fat and was not tender/melt in your mouth. especially for the price point, the steak was not worth it. on the bright side, the veggie dishes were very good. we were disappointed with the service because my friend who was vegan was told that a dessert was vegan, but it was made out of egg, and she had already ate it. the menu needs to have clearer designations for what is vegan vs. vegetarian. this would avoid having to depend on the waiter for this information, as it seems not all waiters are proficient on the menu.
review of the buffet brunch: probably more negative than it should be just because there's no really good way to execute a sushi buffet. For the price, I really didn't like having to wait in line and fight people for the best items at the buffet. The plates were small so it was hard to carry enough back with you and you have to make a few trips which inevitably means bumping into people or standing in line which kind of sucks for $150 meal. I also thought the sashimi had too much sauce.
If you’re used to Zuma Abu Dhabi or Dubai, this location may be disappointing. Despite having a reservation, the waiting time was very long, and the food also took a while to arrive. As for the quality, it was acceptable but definitely below the standard I expected from Zuma. There’s room for improvement. Globally OVER RATED
While the vibe, aesthetic & service was amazing, the food itself left a lot to be desired. Located inside the Kimpton Epic Hotel, for 9:30p on a Saturday evening, it was pretty packed, the DJ was really good and high energy. We were seated towards the back of the restaurant on the patio which was a lot quieter but still perfect. We ordered a round of drinks to start - I ordered my standard Paloma and was extremely disappointed. It had no taste - not sure if they used grapefruit soda but it might've been flat plus the tequila they used wasn't the greatest so it tasted watered down. We sent it back and received the same thing but adding more grapefruit juice made it bearable. After ordering an assortment al la carte, the Chilean seabass and Waygu were the highlight. The seabass was super flavorful with a tangy, creamy citrus sauce and prepared perfectly while the Waygu was savory and tender. The remaining options were just ok, nothing too exciting. The shrimp was bland, the corn was good (like elote) and the broccolini was standard. Our server was very helpful and attentive, and did his best to right the cocktail, but unless you're eating sushi, expect to pay for the vibe and location rather than the food.

Back then when Rainer Becker founded the restaurant the brunch was beyond memorable. Totally unforgettable of a meal. It was $99 with a lot of high end drinks included. Couldn't wait to spend my morning there and I couldn't stop talking about how unbelievable the quality of fish and meats included in that price. Hasn't been the same since they changed hands. Not even close. $100 or around $130/head ++ isn't anymore as dramatic as it was at $99 back in 2016 to 2017. Prices have gone up at least 2 to 3 folds and they can't afford to offer the same quality of a spread for that price. Please be careful when you dine there. Your bill already includes tax and tip.
Wow wow wow I must say, very much disappointed here. I was so hyped by people to try this place as one of the best restaurants in Miami. It was very much a disappointing experience. The service hostess was nice and the actual waiter super attentive and friendly and professional which is why I am giving 2* and not 1. The ambiance is nice elegant and hotel vibes with good lounge music not to loud perfect vibe. The drinks was delicious I got the raspberry martini and it was very good. Compared to other restaurants that have great food and bad drinks. But the food omg noting was good. I tried so much food and everything was bad bad bad. The salmon nigiri was the only thing that was good. The wagyu dumpling was $45 and I expected the best of the best and it was NOT good. Like at all and the sea bass tataki was so bad I had to say something it smelled old it tasted rotten and I was so scared to try anything else with fish… it’s a Saturday night in Miami food should be FRESH for what they charge. The salmon torched nigiri was not good either tasted bad. The seabass nigiri I couldn’t eat I think the seabass had definitely a problem on todays freshness. The only good thing was the drinks here and the ambiance and my waiter who was super nice, I felt bad that the food was so bad because he was sweet ..
Didn’t understand the hype about the place. On Sunday Feb 15th we had to wait an hour in line to get seated. The server did not appear for another 20min to give us water. Food is ok but almost no selection of veggies/sides (1 simple salad and cooked asparagus). It’s mostly raw or cooked protein + sweets. Super packed, music so loud, makes it hard to talk. With a 20% tips included that’s not what we’re supposed to get. Won’t be back.
I used to love Zuma Miami and considered it the best spot in the city. However, my recent visit has drastically changed my opinion. Here are the reasons why this place is now a 2/5 instead of 5/5: 1. Fish Quality: The fish is NOT fresh. 2. Table Arrangement: Tables are very close to one another, sacrificing guest comfort to increase volume. 3. Management Issues: The previous GM is no longer there, and the current "Assistant GM" lacks experience. 4. Attention to Detail: For a $500 bill, this is unacceptable. -The server did not bring out water; I was served food before water was provided. -Sushi did not come with ginger. The response was laughable: "Sorry - forgot because we are busy." 5. Service: Our server, Carlos, did not seem to care about our experience, and the Assistant GM made zero attempts to rectify the situation despite my efforts to give feedback. On a positive note, the wagyu beef steak, pork belly, and dessert are must-try dishes. Everything else was just "okay" for the price point. Until Zuma gets proper management, I would advise staying away.
No one smiles at this restaurant, employees all look and sound stressed out. 20% service charge automatically placed on the check and the waiter didn’t come by the table more than 3 times, service was not worth that. Food was crazy expensive for such a small quantity, even for downtown Miami.
We chose Zuma Miami to celebrate my niece’s birthday and had a 9:00 PM reservation. We arrived a little early and were seated, assuming it was a courtesy. However, exactly two hours later, we were told to leave because the table was “reserved for an event.” When we reminded them that our reservation time was 9:00 PM, we were told that we had “used our time by arriving early,” which was never explained when we were seated. We offered to move to another table or continue at the bar, but all options were refused. Despite paying a $570 bill, we were made to feel rushed and unwelcome, which was especially disappointing for a special birthday celebration. This is not the level of hospitality one expects from a restaurant of Zuma’s reputation. Additionally, the service was below expectations. Our dishes were not served at the same time—one of us was eating while the other was still waiting. Very disappointing experience.
Yesterday we went to Zuma Miami and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We were asked to leave our table after only about 1.5 hours, despite the fact that we had paid a $600 bill and hadn’t even finished our drinks yet. Before entering, we were never informed that there would be an event or any time limitation. Later, staff came to our table and told us there was an event, and we were forced to leave. Paying $600 and being made to leave after such a short time felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. We genuinely felt like we were being rushed out rather than treated as valued guests. Very disappointing experience, especially for a place like Zuma that is supposed to offer premium service.
We spent close to $400 for dinner last night for two people, the Asian manager told our waiter after we had ordered a dessert that we are not going to get this dessert because we are occupying the table for too long. This is utterly disgusting behavior. You cannot rescind an order of food, especially after spending so much money there and having been there for at least an hour and a half only .No excuse, I would save your money. There is dozens of extravagant restaurants besides this in Miami that will never take away your dessert order after 10 minutes of ordering it. I’ve been to many Zuma locations, last year was one Mykonos. But this Asian manager really had a chip on her shoulder after she spoke to our waiter. I will definitely not be going to any more Zumas after this, and I will not be recommending this place to any of my followers.
Came here for my birthday brunch to find out our table had been given away and no indoor seating was available. We were only a few minutes late and received no call, text, or email before they decided to give our table away. Zero hospitality.
My last experience at Zuma Miami was very deflating. Despite having made a reservation more than 10 days prior, the host didn't assign us a table and even seated people who arrived after us. I had clearly reserved a table next to the water, but they tried to give us one next to the bar. Once we requested our reserved table, they sent us to a corner next to another occupied table, even though others were empty. For a special occasion, it was the worst experience ever. I used to visit the place often for lunch and dinner with company meetings, but I'll stop doing so. It was very deflating.
I used to think much more highly of this restaurant. We had a reservation and were seated quickly outside, which was nice. Our server was a young woman, and shortly after we sat down, she was also assigned a large table nearby. From that moment on, it felt like we no longer existed. I placed my order, and before my friend could even say a word, the server rushed off without taking the rest of the order. Just to clarify - we’re not the type of people who make the waiter stand there forever. She simply left before the ordering process was finished. Time passed, my food was brought out, and my friend still hadn’t even placed her order. You decide for yourself if giving 1 star for service is justified. As for the food - you can see it in the photos. We ordered four sushi sets, and honestly, they looked dull and definitely not worth $30+ each. Come on, guys, let’s be realistic. I used to be loyal to this place, but after this visit, I just feel embarrassed to bring friends here. I won’t be inviting anyone else again. And by the way, the manager also decided to walk away while I was trying to explain the issue. Can you guess where she went? Yep, straight to the large table - after all, they’ll bring a bigger check, right?
Invited one of my clients to dinner and couldn't have been more disappointed with the food. There was a hair in our Lobster Tempura. The second time around, after apologizing and still charging us for the plate, the lobster was very chewy. It seems like Zuma's food quality is in decline. We had another bad experience at the NYC location, for the price point, better food and service are expected.
