Dim Sum Milano Reviews
Excellent Chinese & dim sum restaurant. A delightful surprise to enjoy in Milan. The decor is elegant and serene. The food is carefully prepared with the freshest ingredients. Service is impeccable. Looking forward to my next visit.
Very good Chinese food. High end cooking. Very tasty Sui Mai dumplings. Wonderful duck. Very good char Sui bao. Very nice and helpful staff. One of the top 30 Chinese places over the world we've eaten.
Me and my bf had a great lunch experience at this restaurant. Great food and great quality. The staff are kind and helpful. The kitchen is an open area so you'll be able to see the chef and other sous-chef cooking. The place is simple but elegant at the same time, you'll appreciate it more during the dinner service. Prices are quite high but given its reputation as one of the best place in town. If you love dumpling i recommend to go try and It's really worth your money.
One of the nicer dim sum restaurants in Milan; they also make dim sum available for dinner! The no-fuss service is very efficient and ensures our selections arrive steaming fresh. There are also plenty of other options in the menu apart from dim sum, including vegan alternatives. The wine list is reasonably effective for the purpose of food pairings.
Ambiance 5, authenticity of the dishes 2, service 4. So if you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this may not be the place to visit. 1. Shrimp dumpling authentic 2 xiaolong boa, I am appalled. I have never been served such bad xiaolong bao, no soup what so ever, tiny meat ball wrapped up steamed up 3. 香酥鸭, crispy fragrant duck, appalled, it is duck Milanese, not the famous Shanghainese duck the Chinese translation indicated 4. 椒盐鱿鱼 salt pepper squid, has no salt neither pepper, you don’t call this dish what every Chinese expects, it is calamari fritti a la italia, they did remake it for me, but unfortunately w the old squid remade , it is unchewable 5. The vegi dish was very authentic The portions are great for single diner, tiny for sharing, thus the price is rather Swiss level than Italian level, high. They do have a big menu, maybe you have to ask for authentic Chinese if you want to try authentic Chinese. But by default, expect they serve altered Chinese dishes for Italian taste.
Food was very tasty although the portions are were meager. Not happy with the 4 euros each just for sitting.. we were 3. Only Resto out of 3 that charged us. The price of a small Coke 7. 50.. is over exaggerated.
Good food and great quality but the price to quality ratio is a joke for what is typically a chinese street food. We actually left hungry. Service was excellent and the restaurant feels really well renovated and a beautiful environment.
We really loved the dumplings with lamb. Throughout dinner we ordered many different dishes, including crispy duck, which didn’t satisfy us too much, it seems that it was lacking flavor. Overall this place didn’t meet our expectations, we spent a lot of money, left hungry and didn’t experience anything that made us say “wow”. We thought that we’d have interesting combinations of flavors, but it was just like any basic fast food dumpling place. The atmosphere is great, service also great - very attentive. And cool bonus was the wet towels at the end. The smell was delicious, I wanted to take them home.
Food ok, expected more refinement for the upmarket feel and price! I’ve had better duck pancakes from my local takeaway, the sauce was bland and the duck was covered in batter. Good dim sum, small portions
The restaurant offers decent service and food, but the portions are small for the prices charged, making it hard to justify the expense. Overall, an average experience. Drinks are below average and expensive as well. A non alcoholic drink that is full of sugar for more than 10 euros doesn’t make sense.
Good food. However, portions were too small for the prices. In fact, we were shocked when the dishes were served. Never saw such tiny portions before.
It was a total disappointment. I am from Hong Kong and won’t suggest anyone to eat there, the quality of food is quite a disaster, and totally overpriced. If you are looking for good dim sum, go to Mu dim sum.
