Juban Ramen Milpitas Reviews
Nice little ramen store with an assortment of more traditional ramen flavors and a couple of specialities. Their tonkotsu ramen was solid with good broth. I've tried quite a few so far but theirs was fine, not amazing but is good. Their takoyakk was a bit mid though. Overall not bad at all and pricing is about what you would expect from similar ramen stores now a days.
The ramen is delicious and the broth is excellent. The service is great too. I’ve already been here several times, and I highly recommend it.
Service was super quick and nice. We ordered the Tonkotsu, black garlic and the tantanmen ramen. All three were so delicious and flavorful. Pretty affordable too. We went around 6pm on a Friday night and there was plenty of space but the space is pretty small so it was pretty packed by the time we left. Definitely would recommend.
Great ramen and very warm owner! I tried black garlic ramen which was beyond my expectation. 5 star for American standard. 4.5 star for Japanese standard. Could have been better if egg was a bit warmer. Anyway, very good ramen place without long line and good price.
The Juban Ramen & Tapas restaurant is a wonderful little japanese restaurant. It is well known for its delicious ramen noodels and definitely worth a try. You may choose from various meals and it is prepared real fast. The taste is great and the service is spot on. Prices are fair and the over all quality real god.
The HOLE in the WALL spot. I dont want to share anything because too many people will start coming and ruin it 😒.
Was very pleasantly surprised how good the broth is!!! Personally, I give the most weight to the broth quality for any ramen spot. By that standard, one of best tasting ramen I had in the South Bay area. And my reference is from visiting Japan often and having ramen there. :) My vote on the Tonkotsu Ramen: Broth = 10!!! Noodle = 9 Chashu = 7 Egg = 9
Friendly and efficient staff, and delicious food! I usually get their ramen (all of which are great), but decided to try their salmon yaki this time. I’m so glad I did! It was presented beautifully, and cooked to perfection, very flavorful. The cucumber salad was fresh and tasty. I think I found my favorite dish here. Thanks for always providing a pleasant dining experience!
Juban Ramen & Tapas serves a good range of different types of broth and a few vegetarian options. I love their TanTan Men and Tonkotsu. I feel this place is underrated and deserves more great reviews.
Best chashu I've ever had! I love the Tantanmen Ramen 🤤 Very attentive and friendly service too.
The menu I'm posting is their latest menu (Oct 2018). We got the tonkotsu and miso ramen. Delicious! They just need to let the customers know if they ran out of the items that is usually put into the ramen. They forgot the fish cake, but oh well... They are a Korean ran restaurant. Price is decent for the location that they are at. From what I see from previous menu pictures, they raised their prices by a couple of dollars. Either way, I'll come here again. Thank you.

We’ve been here a few times and the ramen has never disappointed. Seems like they are trying to change up the menu. Tried the spicy tofu ramen today and loved it! Had the right blend between Japanese ramen and Korean spice. Server was very friendly and the place is super clean. Surprised that there aren’t more people lined up for this place. Truly a hidden gem in Milpitas!

Super chill laid back and quiet Tonkotsu Ramen is so good. The broth is creamy and the pork chashu is delicious.
If you're a vegetarian who loves ramen, you'll definitely enjoy this place. They have tasty broth and a variety of veg options. We went there with a couple of friends and loved the vibe, along with the delicious ramen. Tried the veggie version of spicy tofu ramen and the curry ramen, and they were both really tasty!
A very good little mom and pop Japanese restaurant! This restaurant is definitely not all Japanese, it is Japanese with a Korean flare to it (I.e boneless chicken with Korean sauce). We ordered 3 different tapas and a ramen to share. The ramen was good but not great, but everything else was very good. All in all, this place is nothing fancy, but it is a excellent place to try if you are around the area and want something Japanese that is not sushi!
Came here on a Thursday night. It was slow. The service and food were good. Will definitely come back to try more dishes. Check out my IG page for more pictures. @foodie_wit_a_bootie_408

This place opened in June 2017! It's at where the old MOH Kitchen used to be. Walking in, the interior decor caught my eyes first. The old Japanese posters on the wall and the wooden benches gave this place a casual and relaxing vibe. However, the wooden benches were very uncomfortable, and the stone tables clinked so loud with the bowls. Beside that, the ambience was pretty quiet (yes I was probably the loudest inside :p). There was only 1 waiter for all the tables (about 6 or 7 were occupied), so you may have to wait for service. Now food. I tried the Tonkatsu, my go-to ramen. I would give it 3.5 stars. The noodle was firm, and the broth had okay flavorful but on the bland side, but it was neither too oily nor too salty. The chasu that came with the ramen was also delicious. However, the tsukemen my friend ordered was not as good. First of, the noodles were stuck together. Then, the broth tasted like a vegetable soup. The grilled squid was very fishy, and slightly bitter. I would come back to try some appetizers and maybe get the ramen again.

The ambience was good. Place was neat and well decorated. Server was very polite and friendly. The only let down was food. We ordered veg ramen (spicy tofu ramen, curry ramen) but the broth flavors were not very good. Both types of ramen barely had any vegetables or tofu. Also, they have a smaller menu now, so there was no Bento box.

Since this place had really good reviews, I went there even though it was little far from my place. During the pandemic, they are not offering some of the menus like seafood based ramen or fried mackerel. I ended up ordering veggie ramen for take out since this place is not open yet for dining. I brought ramen home and ate 2, 3 spoons and couldn't eat more. I love Japanese ramen but this one didn't taste well. It didn't have any veggies except having veggie broths. Plus the person who took orders was unfriendly.

Disappointing experience at Juban. Went in with a lot of expectations but we weren’t even given a table. There was only one cook and one server but a few empty tables. The server kept doing other chores instead of helping us with the menu or make us sit down. We had to unfortunately leave the place. The folks behind us left as well due to the delay. When we asked if we could sit down, the server replied coldly that it would take 10 minutes (though there were empty tables) Very disappointed with the service!
