I recently ate at 876 Jerk, and I had the pleasure of trying their oxtail with rice and peas. The oxtail was incredibly tender, falling off the bone and simmered to perfection in a rich, flavorful gravy that balanced spicy and sweet notes. I enjoyed my meal with a Sorrel Tru Juice, this is a brand you can only find in Jamaica so it made for an awesome experience! Overall, the meal was a true representation of authentic Jamaican cuisine, with generous portions and friendly staff. I highly recommend for anyone craving Caribbean flavors.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 876jerk is an amazing spot for authentic Jamaican food! The jerk chicken is perfectly spiced and delicious, and the curry goat is full of flavor. Don’t skip the festival and fried plantains—they’re the best sides! If you love Jamaican cuisine, this place is a must-visit! Monroe needed this!

My husband and I was shopping near by and decided to try the food. I love Jamaican food and we both ordered the oxtail. Omg! Was the food so good! The portion was good. They gave us a good amount of meat compared to other Jamaican/Caribbean restaurants in the area. Husband loved the patties as well. I highly recommend this place! I can’t wait to try their jerk chicken! I have been to Jamaica 5 times plus 8 other Caribbean Island and had my share of oxtail and rice and peas! They make them like the islands!! Do not believe the hype from the people that gave bad review’s! Plus I lived in Jamaica, Queens! Go and try it out! You will no be disappointed!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 876 Jerk, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! As someone just passing through the area, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. I had the oxtail with rice and peas, and it was absolutely delicious tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. I also had the chance to meet the owner, she was incredibly kind and took the time to patiently explain the menu to me, ensuring I ordered something I would truly enjoy. Even though I was just passing through, 876 Jerk has definitely earned a spot on my must visit list whenever I’m in the area again. Highly recommended!

My family and I went to this restaurant to try something new. This place is awesome!!! The atmosphere is clean and neutral, the service was amazing the staff shows kindness all the way. For the food we have got patties, jerk chicken and rice, and jerk pork and rice!! IT WAS AWESOME!!!! The food is to DIE FOR!!! The food was homemade, the right amount of spices, and you can’t compare it to the store bought stuff. This is the place to be for an awesome culinary Jamaican cuisine.

Had my first meal of oxtail, rice & peas, and plantain. The food was excellent! Meat flavorful and melted off the bone the way oxtail is supposed to. Monique was the counter person and she was so pleasant to chat with. The dish was served hot and quickly. I had enough food for two lunches. I highly recommend this new restaurant.

Ok, so this review is long…….. overdue where do I start; the goat head soup is out of this world, perfection of flavors, just enough spice that my picky 11 and 6 yr daughters love it. It’s a must try!

From other reviews I thought there may be some new restaurant stumbles as they have been a long-time food truck at lots of local festivals, but everything I ordered was delicious as usual. Takeout so can't speak to dining there, but everything looked clean and bright when I grabbed my food. Oxtail w/ rice and peas and plantains plus a beef patty. Looking forward to being able to get it almost any day we want!

Food was amazing, portions were very generous! I have 6 children who all truly enjoyed everything they tasted. I ordered stewed chicken with rice and peas and plantain along with an order of Rasta pasta and a side of the vegetables. Everything was full of flavor, meat was tender, vegetables were cooked but not mushy, sweet plantains were cooked perfect and the gravy was just awesome. My kids tried the meals and asked to go back to the store to order their own portions. Everyone also had chicken tenders, fried chicken and Mac and cheese to share. We are looking forward to returning so we can try even more items from the menu!

In the crowded world of takeout and delivery, 876 Jerk stands out not with gimmicks, but with a simple, powerful formula: consistently excellent food and hassle free service. This has become our family’s goto for nights when we want a restaurant quality meal without the restaurant.

Ordered lunch from 876 Jerk today. It was Splendid indeed. People are raving about their Oxtails and I see why!! I had the Oxtail & Curried Goat and the meat was falling off the bone! Try 876 Jerk, you won't be disappointed.

This an amazing authentic Jamaican restaurant owned and operated by Jamaican people and staff. My favorite is the curry chicken with rice and peas. I love the rice because it is rich in coconut milk which is truest to Jamaican flavors. The curry chicken always has some nice pieces of Irish potato which often if left out of curry at other places. However my favorite menu item is their festival. When I asked the owner she said she developed the recipe over several years. If you are lucky you may also find them at a local even with their food truck serving oxtail rata pasta and jerk chicken. All are very good choices check them out.

first time eating here! i was hungry after a long day of work and decided to give this place a shot. i ordered jerk chicken w rice and peas (oxtail gravy) and plantain, everything was hot and ready within 5 minutes. lady at the desk was kind and soft-spoken, she was a great help. the plate was HEAVY. very generous portion of food for only around 17$. got the food home and it was delicious. nothing left on my plate but the bones! 🦴 will definitely come here again. only “negative” thing ill say was the chicken was not as spicy as some other places ive had, i was expecting a bit more heat (just my opinion). BUT overall great experience! thank you guys for the excellent food and service 🤝 easy 8/10.

Never leave reviews, but I had to . This Food truck was at mt. Peter today and was the only vendor for food . The jerk mac and cheese was soo cold . The fries were cold also . They said they didn’t have beef patty’s and I said I would take a chicken patty …. Guess what I got? A beef patty . Disappointed to say the least . Also not friendly at all

Small restaurant with only barstool seating (which isn't a bad thing but just be aware of that). The service was good as the order was taken fast and food came out fast. I ordered two jerk chicken sandwiches with fries and a soda for a total of about $37. Unfortunately, the value just didn't add up. Both sandwiches had very little chicken in it to the point where I had to rip pieces of bread off from the sandwich so that I didn't have to eat just bread in some bites. Also the bread used for the bun was just your typical bread from your local supermarket. I wouldn't have minded that if it weren't for the lack of chicken I suppose. The jerk chicken I did have tasted great and I liked how crunchy the fries were and the amount of fries given. I also liked the sauce provided. I just wish we got more chicken in the sandwich for that price. If I wasn't so hungry I would of provided a picture. Long story short: Food taste good but amount of food for the price is bad.

Ate at their food truck at Pennings Orchard. Ordered a jerk chicken sandwich and jerk Mac and cheese. Half of the sandwich was literally just a roll, no chicken. The other half was maybe an ounce of relatively flavorless chicken with no sauce. The Mac and cheese had essentially no cheese, was cold, and had little flavor. Boo.

I was so heartbroken when i received my food this weekend. I ordered what was supposed to be fried chicken but looked like jerk chicken only to find that the chicken was not only burnt but dried. You can tell it was out all day and was the last of whatever was left. It was disheartening as my 3 month old fell ill and i didnt eat the entire day being at the hosptial only to have the food come and not be edible. The chicken was tasteless , dried out and burnt. I just put it in the fridge and made my daughter some eggs for dinner and went to bed hungry. I couldnt believe my eyes. I paid $20 for a medium size fried chicken meal. Thats almost the price of an oxtail meal. As soon as I get back home from the hsopital I will take that good back to the restaurant and speak to the manager because there is no way that was sent to me given the only pictures they presented. I need every dime back that was spent for delivery. I try to support businesses ans as a fellow business owner I truly want to support but this was an insult.

Stay away from this place this is not authentic Caribbean food I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and cabbage. The gravy was watery with out any flavor at all, it taste like nothing and some pieces of the oxtails were cold like they just removed it from the fridge and served it to me the rice has no flavor and just taste like coconut I had way better Caribbean food with authentic taste idk what they think there doing here but they need to find a better chef and reevaluate there menu. I don’t understand how they’re still open. Sorry but this was not it at all.

The rice and peas needs to be cooked properly the rice is mushie and grainy… beyond me how they get it like that, oxtail has more of a kick not enough flavor, jerk chicken is the same. The service is amazing the people are very welcoming but the food ingredients and cooking time need to be revisited.
