Ordered KFC for a catering event, and was met with by an extremely friendly local manager who assisted us in getting things to our car with a cart, we ordered a couple hundred pieces of chicken, and two big containers of coleslaw. We were also given a price discount to bring the price closer to that of a nearby grocery chain. Overall, the food was awesome, we received tons of compliments, we didn't have to worry about cooking anything, and the manager was super friendly and helpful! No regrets!
First experience at this KFC was in the parking lot. An employee on break was nice enough to save me a trip to the front door when he told me the restaurant wasn't open inside until June 15. So we went thru the drive thru. I placed my order and the person taking the order said, thank you (how rare is that these days??). We got to the window and saw the sign for a cake at $5.55. We added that to the order and my whole order was ready to go in about 45 seconds! It was a great experience and good food!
They cooked the original chicken the right way! Lately KFC appears to have a tough skin on the original that is crunchy. I always want my KFC original skin to be soft. That is how it started, and that is what I want always!💯
We had a great experience at this KFC. Employee Kathleen went out of her way to offer assistance, to make sure we had everything we needed, and even stopped by the table to see if we needed anything else. We ate at the buffet and the food quality was good. We will definitely eat here again in the future.
Yes, the buffet is gone. However, at the price of the buffet you can buy two of the $5 fill ups and easily get your 2500 calories or more that you might have been eating at the buffet. Never mind that most people only need 1500 to 1800 calories per day. Service was exceptional. They were sold out of the pot pies and I had to wait 18 minutes or more to be baked. That being said who could have guessed that the couple cars in front of me would have ordered eight of them. The manager on duty did not hesitate to take care of me while I waited. Service is good and it's KFC which is excellent! If you're still upset about not having a buffet, just order all the things you would have eaten for the buffet and it probably will cost you less.

I stopped at kfc for lunch the other day. I went through the drive through and service was excellent. By the time I got to the window and paid my food, it was already waiting for me. This is exceptional because I was the only one in line. Food was hot and tasted delicious. Only gripe would be the small size of the sides which is more of a corporate thing not the store itself. I will definitely be back again.
We stopped in on a Wednesday night and the lobby was closed We are pulling a pontoon and could not use the drive up but a employee waved out the window and said they could took our order. It was great they placed our order and than came out with it so fast. It scared us because we assumed it would be a wile. Great customer services and the order was outstanding A big thank you and it’s hard to find employees that care and go the extra effort
Love my KFC! I don't care about all those other new chicken places they cannot compare to Kentucky Fried Chicken! Though I do miss when they used to have the meals with coleslaw and mashed potatoes and better biscuits the biscuits seem to be a little doughier not too much flavor as it was before. That's okay I'm there more for that delicious chicken!
Last week, We ordered the 8 piece chicken for $10 online and was sent the notification that it was ready for pickup. We stopped on the way to work, and they said ,"Sorry, but we are out of chicken. " They compensated the error by giving us chicken sandwiches instead. This week we ordered the 8 piece bucket for $10 online again on Tuesday . The notification came to us saying the order was ready. So we stopped on the way to work, and this time they said they ran out of chicken but could cook some more!?? What happened to my order they had notified me about?
John was very nice and respectful and very helpful! This day and age it's a breath of fresh air knowing there are people still out the that care about the experience of their establishment.
I used to go here quiet frequently years ago and the food started to go downhill. Since new management has come in I’ve noticed a huge change! The food was hot and ready in less than 3 minutes! Very clean, nice artwork, very friendly staff! I also see the GM posting continuously on fb groups about times and the upkeep! As a restaurant manager myself this is an amazing turn around!
These by far the best biscuits I have ever had at kfc so buttery and had a light crunch whoever made them so go around a train all the kfc locations and the chicken was on point
Wasn't the best experience because of things just not being prepped for the evening shift, or they ran out of things. Either way, I didn't mind waiting. I think the staff was friendly, and I enjoyed my $7 fill up.
The food was great, the new remodel is awesome! The service was very slow, I think they were short staffed. They were friendly enough but seemed very stressed. They were out of a couple of their sodas, of course the one I wanted was out. Overall, we would stop back.
I very much enjoyed the chicken and the potatoes and gravy, but the biscuit was not done enough it was very gooey I didn't eat it. I did not give it any stars for atmosphere because it was drive through. They were very pleasant and very efficient and I would go to the KFC in Monticello anytime. I don't know if people realize that when I give four and five stars for a fast food restaurant it is good for a fast food restaurant. Enjoy🌞
I received our food pretty quickly. People after me and in the drive-through waited 20-25 minutes for theirs. While we sat there, they decided to mop, not sure they rang the mop out as they left puddles on the floor. Just a bit dangerous when walking out.
Decent service, food was cooked well but it wasn't hot, more warm. It's an average place nothing fancy, still am grateful to have a KFC nearby
We miss the KFC in Elk River so when we recently went shopping in Monticello we tried the Monticello KFC for first time. We love KFC fried chicken and this location did not disappoint. We went inside to order a 50/50 bucket takeout. Chicken and all the sides were delicious and decent customer service.
Food quality wasn't consistently high but we got more than 2 napkins!

Slow. Expensive, frequently out of items placed an online order at 4pm and it took 40 min. Yea it was a bigger order but still shouldn't have taken that long to throw together
The cashier Eric (I believe his name was) was doing his best this evening. He was super kind, and making sure everyone got everything they wanted. The food here is a hit or miss but usually okay. Wait times for food are extremely long unless you do a pick up through the drive thru, in my experience.
Overall disappointed with a visit here. Usually I love going to KFC locations. While the chicken did come out quickly and fresh, I felt the overall cleanliness of the location was poor. While trying to find a booth to sit in, I had to walk past four or that were dirty on the tops to try and find one that was mostly clean. During the half hour that I was there, no one came to that section to check or clean any of the tables or the floor. Similarly, the paper towels were all over the place in the bathroom on the floor. Basic cleaning issues just didn't seem to be addressed. On the positive side there is plenty of parking as well as seating in general. It would be nice if they spent a little more time trying to keep the front of the store looking in better condition. I will try and go another time and update my review if appropriate.
The dining room was filthy at about 5:30 pm and there was no tea made. The ceiling was dripping water from a vent and no wet floor sign we had to tell them 3 times after almost falling on it ourselves and other customers. The food was slow, the service was poor and the quality was even worse. When it was brought to the managers attention he barely cared and threw a piece of chicken in a box and gave it to my fiancé which was the wrong kind of chicken to replace it with. Will not be returning there.
Was very disappointed when i visited the Monticello location yesterday, eager to spend my lunch break getting two chicken sandwiches, just to hear from the lady on the loud speaker that they were understaffed and unable to handle any orders through the drive through at noonish yesterday. Ended up across the street at BK, unfortunately.
I had to update this review because today I went inside this KFC to find myself completely sick to my stomach because of how dirty it is. Everything is sticky - pop cup, lids, even the paper covered straw. It feels muggy and greasy inside, the floors look as though they haven't been swept or washed in months. The kitchen was absolutely repulsive that I turned right around and left with a sticky pop cup. I cannot believe this place passes code/inspection! KFC owners ought to be embarrassed from how this location represents their company. Carlos is a great employee. Friendly and made the visit a good experience by going above and beyond. Please acknowledge Carlos for his good customer service
A simple order took 18 minutes. The kitchen staff was arguing and messed up several orders. No one appeared to be in charge. The bathroom was horrible. The high chair had dried food all over it there was trash on every table . This location meets some guidance.
Kenny was very pleasant and a nice guy. He had to deal with a very rude customer and I feel like he addressed the complaint very polite, professionally and with compassion even though the very rude customer did not deserve it. Outside of Kenny, I feel that this locations needs a lot of work. The buffet was not kept up very well and orders seemed slower than they should have been. It felt a bit disorganized and that not everyone was on the same page.
Took the employees five minutes to notice I was standing at the desk to order, they were out of biscuits, and they waited another five minutes to tell me my meal would be 15 minutes late because they were out of extra crispy. No refund offered for having to switch to original.
Maybe short handed, but the few employees who were present made it clear they didn't care if you were waiting for help or not. Waited a long while for our food which was not fresh. Neither of us finished our meals and actually stopped elsewhere down the road.
Hadn't eaten at KFC in a long minute. Had a craving, stopped at the drive thru, and I must say, something has changed with the entire chain or possibly just this one in particular. But the flavor (I ordered the original recipe) was lackluster at best. Disappointed.
Ordered online 45 minutes before my scheduled pick-up time. When I arrived, it took at least 5 minutes for someone to come to the counter. Once someone did show up, I was told it would be at least another 15 minutes before my order would be ready. As I type this, I'm at the 15 minute mark and still waiting. So far, that's an hour for "fast food" and counting. I asked for a refund; was told I'd have to do that online since it was an online order. Blurgh
It’s really frustrating when you go there and pay just to get old food or not the correct portions. I ordered Mac and cheese and potatoes and both were only filed half way or less. Not even worth the almost $7. Mac and cheese they give us old crusty Mac. This place is def still going downhill. Turnover is ridiculous so consistency is failing.
We stopped at the KFC in Monticello, MN and ordered a 12 piece bucket of 6 breasts and 6 drumsticks. We were charged about $35.00 because of an upcharge for the 6 breasts. This was a take out order, and when we got home there was not a single breast in the bucket. It was all thighs and drumsticks. My husband did look and he thought he saw a breast on the top, but no. I called them as soon as we opened the bucket, but no one answered the phone. We will not go there anymore.
Our experience wasn't too good unfortunately. The service was pretty bad. I had to keep going back to the counter to get everything we needed. The food was quite overseasoned and dry. Good thing it was $7 meals. Try a different KFC cause I've eaten at good ones and this one was under par.
Just left this location. The bathrooms were filthy, and the main dining area was even worse. The floors are sticky, you feel like your shoes are sticking to the floor with every step, and every surface (table, chairs, countertops) have a filmy residue on them. The food seemed as if it had been cooked and left in a hot area for a few hours prior to being served. Overall disgusting experience
Do not go here. They don't have food. If you order ahead, they will give you an 800-number to call to get refunded in a week. If you try to order inside they will keep telling to there will be a long wait until you decide to leave.

I came here a few nights ago and was thoroughly disappointed. None of the staff were in uniform of any kind- they were literally in their pajamas so you couldn't even tell who worked there and who didn't. Not only that, but the food was disgusting! The potato wedges I paid for must have been sitting under a heat lamp for 4+ hours by how gross they were. The whole restaurant was gross and there was food and liquid all over the floor of the lobby. Get you chicken somewhere else!
Worst service and the food was horrible. I had coupon for 3 PC meal ordered the original recipe they gave me the extra crispy, the biscuit was hand crushed on purpose, so it was a rolled up squished biscuit. I got 1 PC of the wing which was the tip no meat, the other was thigh and unsure of the other as it was all small bones and no meat. I wasn't even done ordering and was rushed to the pick up window. There were no other cars in line. I have never had a problem at the one in Buffalo Mn. I will never go to the Monticello store again. My family will drive the extra miles for good food and service.
We were traveling through and wanted KFC and this was the closest one we could find to the interstate. Not only were the employees rude as heck but they messed up our order big time. Missed all dipping sauces and 2 sides AND I found a hair in my chicken tender. We had asked for utensils for the Mac and cheese and there was at least 6 sporks in the bag for only 2 people you can kind of tell it was a passive aggressive F you. Unfortunately the employees hygiene was subpar as well. Would not stop here again, I left with less of an appetite than I came with.
They gave me the wrong order and I had to take it back. I ordered the Nashville hot 4 pc and it sucked. I love crispy chicken skin but there sauce is horrible and had no heat. I had to pull off the skin and throw it away. I could not eat it. Grocery store fried chicken is cheaper and taste better.
This place definitely could have been better with their food. The potatoes had been left out for what tasted like hours, as the top of it had crusted over. I didn't notice until I got a bite. The chicken didn't taste very good. The only thing I liked was the biscuit. However I would give this an even lower star if I could.
I ordered the 5$ bowl box. The corn was hard and old. My husband's fried were dried up and he didn't get the extra crispy chicken that he ordered. The buffet was a disgusting mess. No one care that it had spills of food ALL OVER the buffet. It was a hot mess! I had to go wash my hands after and the bathroom was gross. The soap dispenser was in 3 parts. The soap portion of it was just laying on the sink. I didn't know how to get the soap out. It's like no one cares. I had nothing to eat all day and was headed out of town and thought KFC sounds good... bad choice.
I’ll always love and support a business especially when they’re down on workers, because I worked fast food. But I’m sorry. I asked for things separate, it wasn't. I asked for lemonade no ice, there’s ice. And the lemonade machine was out so thank you. I came inside to already fix my order, and took a drink when I got home, only to realize you needed to change the pop machine. You had over 5 employees working at the time, and I’ll wait extra, if it means me actually getting my order actuate. No apologies, nothing. Will not be coming back.
Forgot fork for famous bowl. We got no napkins. Had to drive back to store to get fork and napkins. We did get plenty of attitude from employees at drive through window. Just a worthless experience. Very disappointing. Thanks
This was the worst kfc I have ever been to got the 8 PC chicken thigh was ok but below the normal for kfc. The leg, wing, and breast were all over cooked and tasted as if there were under heat lamp for hours. I will never go back to this location.
Would have given -100 stars if possible. Told they didn't have original chicken. So we got the extra crispy. Told to pull up and wait. And sat for about 20 minutes. Then a guy comes out and says it'll be 28 minutes until the extra crispy is done, and offers us original. That's what we originally wanted and was "unavailable" and now it's suddenly is available?! They then put the gravy in with the potatoes instead of separately. And the potatoes wasn't large like we requested. Slow slow slow wait times. Don't even bother.
I was looking forward to getting a nice crispy $5 fill up, but then when I ordered my meal the worker seemed a bit too interested on the numbers on my debit card more then the service. When I finally got my food, the chicken was dry, the soda wasn't even Dr. Pepper like I order but only soda water. All in all this was by far the worse KFC I've ever gotten food from, I highly recommend not going there for a meal.
We ordered our food for dine in but instead of a tray, they bagged everything. The food tasted ok but they forgot a cookie & the honey mustard as requested. When I returned to the counter to ask for both, I was told "oh, well, we're out of honey mustard" Maybe you could have informed me of that instead of just putting no dipping sauces in the bag? My husband went to the restroom & immediately walked out as there was urine all over the floor and toilet. The staff seemed completely incompetent & the level of cleanliness & service reflected that.
I don't write reviews often. But, this is by far the worst kfc I've ever been to, and I've travelled all over. I've been several times, regrettably, in thinking perhaps the first ones were just bad nights. No, it's obviously very poorly managed. It's slow. Two out of 3 times I was ignored at the counter for over 10 minutes as if invisible. The third, thinking I'd have better luck outside, I was left pulled up and waiting in drive thru for over 30 minutes. If you manage to get a slow moving employee's attention at all, they're extremely unfriendly, and honestly couldn't care less if you get anything. The food was mediocre at best. All 3 times I got biscuits hard and dry as hockey pucks and mashed potatoes so thin like soup. The buffet was always a mess, with food that looked to be sitting there all day. On one occasion, I believe one of the employees kid was dropped in the lobby with his backpack after school unsupervised and sticking his fingers into everything on it, licking them, then doing it again. That's was it for me. This place needs help. I wont be back.
We went to KFC about 5 pm wasn't fresh the biscuits were old and hard plus the coleslaw didn't have any mixture so it was completely dry. I talked to the Manager Kayla Was very rude and Coped an attitude with me. very unprofessional. Last time we ever go there again!!! No wonder why you have no business!!! 5-9-2023
This location is terrible. This is our 2nd attempt and tonight’s visit consisted of me placing an online order, and when we got to location for pick up we were told the cook had left for 30 minutes and they have no food. I’m not sure how the doors are still open.
I ordered a #13 that is wedge fries, fried chicken sandwich, and drink. Drink was fine. Ever see Christmas Vacation and when they cut into the turkey there was nothing there as it was cooked so long? That was the fries. Chicken sandwich at best was room temperature. Well I went inside from my vehicle which was a mistake, as I got to see how dirty the equipment, floors, and uniforms were. Disgusting!! Manager and supervisor nice. This is exactly why you should eat elsewhere!!!! The crazy thing was it that the time 12:30pm!!! Isn't that lunch rush!?!
Yesterday at 5pm I ordered 2-famouse bowls, a 2 piece meal wing&breast and a side of coleslaw. the chicken was not fully cooked my wing tasted funny on first bite when we looked at it the veins were still pink next to the bone so I switched to one of the bowls the chicken tasted the same I asked my wife to try it she said that chicken is not cooked thoroughly and that corn is very chewy. We contacted them this morning soon as they opened management said give me ur name and u can pick up 2pieces of chicken I asked for my money back or replace all of the meal. The girl didn't give us a receipt we searched the bag. She said there's no way for me to know u were even here, Then hung up on me.
Went to KFC for lunch and ordered 2 different combos only to find out they added only one combo to my order. When I told the cashier about the mistake she got angry and chucked the bag on top of the counter. Started yell at her colleagues about how I just ordered one. If you hate your job so much you should probably look for something else. Worst service ever received. Won’t be ordering food here again.
I just drive through the drive-thru and the girl at the window was rude. She practically through my food at me. As a business owner this was unexpected. This is how you lose customer know matter what color you are.

Unsanitary. One lady was waiting 30 min on her order. We waited 20 for ours. There was chicken on the floor behind the counter and mashed potatoes all over the floor in the lobby. Every table was dirty. The tray for the pop machine was clogged and overflowing around the buffet and back onto the floor behind the counter. Also I wanted root beer which was out as well. During my 20 min wait I went to the bathroom which was horrendous. Out of paper towels, the toilet looked absolutely terrifying and the garbage can was overflowing. Once we got our food and opened it in the car it appeared they placed the mashed potatoes and gravy in the box then poured gravy over everything. I would not recommend this place unless your down for a gamble with food poisoning. If you’re reading this save yourself an experience.
I don’t know where to start. Came inside waited 5 minutes for someone to take my order (no line). Sat down and another lady mentioned she was waiting 30 minutes already. 15 minutes go by and a employee says they are out of chicken. Tells me I’ll have mine in 7 minutes and the other lady it will be an hour (I thought you just said you were out). She asks for a refund and now her chicken will be ready in 7 as well. 20 more minutes my food is ready and the other lady is still waiting. 40 minutes total for me to get a 4 piece and for all I know the other lady is still waiting. Not once did an employee apologize for the wait to any customers.
Went through the drive through. Should have gotten a receipt. The total was WAY more than I was expecting and when I got home I realized why. I did not get the food that I ordered. The girl that took my order clearly was not listening because when I got to the window they asked to verify the drink and it was not at all the drink I had ordered. It seems the two kids that were working were more concerned about socializing then doing their job. Pretty disappointed. I now understand why this location is always dead.
Worst customer service I’ve ever seen spent 15 minutes waiting for help and employee with long black curly hair and face piercings was very rude and unprofessional then threw the food on the counter. Would never have waited or order except it was DoorDash and that’s how I feed my family
Hello KFC monticello. This place need TLC. Need a little work of PR and marketing inside the store employee need to be a little more welcoming and entertaining. The food it shouldn't be recook or refry. This store need a little more love. Sorry
This location sucks. Waiting for your food is like watching an egg hatch.
The doorbell went off when we walked in. There was an employee was sweeping the floor in the dining room and a group of employees were loud and laughing it up in the back. We stood there looking over the menu for over five minutes before the employee in the dining room called back to the kitchen and told them customers were waiting. Someone from the back said "will you get that for me" and another five minutes went by until she came out. No greeting and no thank you. We placed our order and sat down. The man called out our name and shouted out the order. We sat down and found out the extra cole slaw that he called out was missing. We went back to the counter and told the man we were missing the cole slaw was missing and he said "I gave it to you" and continued to argue about it. We eventually got it and it was dry and not nearly as good as usual. We usually stop through the drive through window and spend $45 to $65 when we do, but after that we won't be back. Our money is better spent elsewhere like Pizza Ranch where the food is fresh, the atmosphere is warm and the employees welcome you and are happy to help!
Horrible wait times and food was disgusting
Came here about 8:20 on a Friday evening. Restaurant closes at 10. Ordered online. Drove to pick up in the drive thru only to find out they are out of chicken. Like everything. No pot pies. No chicken strips. No chicken sandwiches. I have no idea what they're going to do for another hour and a half while they're open but that's crazy. KFC is out of chicken. Wow.
3 rd time in one month they didn’t have chicken. A place that sells chicken but doesn’t have any. Needs new management. People there aren’t doing their job.
Placed $10 bucket deal and app showed ready but when I arrived they said another 20 minutes as they were out of original recipe. Asked for refund but was told need to go thru app for that and after 2 barely english speaking customer service agents and 30 minutes still no refund as they said order was complete. Now I will call credit card and have them issue refund. This location sucks!!!!
Manager asked me if I had even asked if my food was ready after I had waited for over 20 mins. Then didn’t even apologize. I had to ask for a refund. They never even started my order… worthless service not fast food. McDonald’s is superior that’s saying a lot
They can't serve actual in person customers because they have too many door dash orders. Are you freaking kidding me? People who physically patronize your business should be your top priority. Not lazy piles who can't be bothered to leave their house.
I normally don't post reviews, but I feel this needs to be addressed. It took about 15-20 minutes from walking to receiving my food. I sat down in the dining area. The food was mediocre as expected and a little overdone, in my opinion. What I really want to address is that while I was eating, I could very clearly hear the staff in the back. Whoever called on 9/13 @ around 8. You found some food film in your potatoes. I want you to know the staff laughed. Made comments about they could be sued and continued to laugh. Highly, highly unacceptable. I'm fairly understanding. Accidents happen. But to laugh at the lack of care in preparing people's food is disgusting. I won't be returning here. I highly recommend to everyone else reading this, don't eat here. Spend your money where they even somewhat care about the food they serve and the customers they serve it to.
All I wanted was some honey and butter for our biscuits….. stood there for 9 minutes before someone brought it to me….. after my wife, who was sitting at the table, called the store to say we were waiting. Four different staff members made eye contact with me and completely ignored me.
Chicken was dry and disgusting. I called to let them know and the manager asked if I felt good about critizing 16 year olds doing there jobs. If they were trained better maby I wouldn't have called. I will never even think about going back to this place and hopefully the 16 year olds find a better job with better management.
Went to this location and was told that the drive thru machine wasn't working so we had to go inside. I went inside and the employees walked pass me. Waited for 20 minutes and no one came to take my order. The employees were walking up to the front but wouldn't engage with the customers. After 20 minutes they came to tell us that they had no boned in chicken. Which is understandable but what isn't understandable is the service. Having me and everyone behind me wait for that long without even greeting us or telling us the situation is just unprofessional.
Ordered online got there on time pulled up to window was told 11 min wait on crispy chicken. Waited 30 minutes finally went up to window and told them I didn't get food. Got food in about 5 min fries were not done. Could have drove away with the car next to me order way earlier but theirs was alot more so gave it to them. When I tried to give the girl that brought it out my name and she said it was mine. First time doing this. Will never order from this KFC again.
Ordered over $30 worth of food was the only one there had to wait 25 minutes. Ordered a few of the spicy slaw wraps with no pickle they had so much sauce on them and no spicy slaw also ordered 3 classic wraps they when I opened them they were plain. They were both meals the fries were soggy and cold between both meals we may have gotten one full soggy cold fries The little chicken sandwich was missing the chicken. This place needs needs some real help. Wish I would have checked to make sure it was all right befor I got home
KFC Monticello, your drive thru kept messing my orders. I always come here at lunch time. Several times that they messed up my orders, giving me wrong food. I tried to just let it go but it keeps happening. First incident, i asked for mashed potatoes, because i trust your employees, i didn’t check what’s inside. I was already home when i noticed that they gave me corn instead of mashed potatoes. Second, i ordered for regular pepsi, but because i didn’t check again, i was already home when i realized that it was a diet. This time, i had to double check. I used a coupon today, July 2, 2024, for 3pcs chicken. I wasn’t complaining that there was no biscuit. She offered an alternative, which was fine to me. Then, i parked and had to double check my bag, only to receive a 2pcs chicken. I had to go inside and asked for another piece of chicken but your employee just gave me an attitude like it was my fault. 🤦🏻♂️
This has to be one the worst KFC in the country. What kind of chicken place stops selling chicken an hour before they close.
$46 drive through order. Forgot to put large Mac and Cheese in the bag. Drove home, called about missing food. Drive back to get missing food during heavy snow, across town. Not one apology, even a hello. Just handed it to me and walked away. Rude workers and again and again this store has accuracy issues.
I am not sure what kind of two bit operation they are running out of this tree fort… but obviously no one whatsoever is steering the bus at this location… placed an online order and showed up and was advised that the cook had left for 30 minutes and they now had no food and I would have to call for a refund… well how convenient!! I give and am so done with this place.
Wow! Has this place went downhill? And obviously it's hard to find good help these days. That's all I have to say about this one.
This past fall I went to this location four times because they advertise pot pies. Four times they said they had no pot pies. It’s been quite a while since I’ve been there so today the wife and I went to get two four piece chicken strip meals. The lazy person at the drive-through did not answer right away and then came on in hushed tones. After we ordered, he then said they’re out of chicken strips. It was 615 on a Thursday and there was no cars in the parking lot and nobody else in the drive-through. I’m assuming this place will close soon.
Avoid this place. Nobody at the counter and when they did show up they said it would be a 20 minute wait. When the food came it was overcooked and not really hot. It’s no wonder KFC locations are disappearing rapidly.
My fiance ordered a 12-piece meal with two extra legs with two extra wings we only got one Wing one breast and the rest legs and thighs it was old chicken an old grease. The night manager was supposed to call back but never did not satisfied with the service horrible horrible chicken. My recommendation is they need to shut down.
As soon as we walked in, no one was at the counter and the staff was in the back. We waited to be acknowledged for 6-7 mins, when the cashier (Christina) came out she was extremely short and irritable. I paid for a side of honey only to have a tiny amount which she said (I paid $1.25) she said that’s all I would get because the sauce is expensive. There was no ice and I told Christina (cashier) she said “we’re waiting for Pepsi it’s been out for a few days” there was no signage nothing. Four other people after me went up to the counter after their order complaining about ice. A simple sign would’ve helped. Went back up because they gave us the wrong side, she was annoyed. We wanted original and got crispy, forgot the butter to our biscuits. It was a mess! I was shocked how rude she was to the other customers. She rang something up wrong and had to cancel it and told the elderly man he had to come back to get his refund later. Then she proceeds to tell the drive thru customers she doesn’t have time to take their order and they had to comeback in 5 mins. The worst customer service I’ve ever seen.
Drive through, so rated average for service and atmosphere. I’ve given this place too many chances to cook their food better, but tonight will be the last time I waste $45 on this place . Wife had me try a piece that she thought tasted “off”. She was lucky she spit hers out, while I wasn’t smart enough to do so. Feeling quite ill and hoping I don’t have food poisoning. The chicken was cooked but tasted spoiled. On top of that, the biscuits were drenched in salty butter. Not flaky or fluffy, but wet and squished into the top of the bucket on top of the chicken. Must have run out of “side” boxes.. Do yourself a favor and find anything at all to spend $45 on instead of a 12 piece meal here.
Disgusting and unacceptable I was served undercooked chicken with blood in it at they only offered to replace one piece instead of the full meal - completely petty and unacceptable. This isn't my first bad experience here either - I've had undercooked biscuits, no butter, and constant issues. Serving raw chicken is a serious health risk, and the lack of accountability is unbelievable. You don't serve bloody chicken and think replacing one piece fixes it. Either fix your standards or shut this place down.
Had to go in to order takeout because my coupon did not have a code to use online, OK no problem. Waited 20 minutes to order, get home to realize half my food is missing or wrong. Called the store and go back 15 minutes each way and John corrects my food, doesn’t offer to remake the other food that will be long cold by time I get home. Get home to eat and the chicken isn’t even cooked and made one member sick. The pop machine has no ice and the pop was flat. All around a terrible experience and this is the 2nd time something like this has happened in 6 months. Chalked the first one up as a one-time thing. Will not be going back.
Very slow service, I don't know if it is every time or not but I came here and waited over an hour for food. Also didn't get everything we ordered, but by the time we got our meal we were running late so couldn't wait around to get the missing parts of our order.
Had 3 workers working yesterday, and about 6 people inside with one car in the drive thru. After waiting to take my order inside some old guy comes up and says angrily to everyone inside “it’s gonna be a 34 minute wait on any chicken cuz we have 3 people working” how would anything take that long? Just because there wasn’t enough workers.. Very unprofessional and very bad at working a kitchen clearly.
Tried to use a coupon, was told incorrectly about it. I told them what it really was, they had no clue what type of chicken is for the coupon. Very SLOW, if you want "fast food" this is not the place to go. 3/4 filled sides and 0 biscuits given for the to go meal. Feathers in the fried chicken and bones in the crispy batter.
Horrible service. Every time we come to this KFC location in the evening to order food at the drive thru, we are told that the chicken will not be ready for at least an hour. Yesterday, when we tried to order food at the drive thru and asked an employee to repeat what he had said, we were met with a rude response in an annoyed tone. At the Buffalo KFC, we always experience good, quick service.
Add mine to the bad reviews. Drove here from Saint Michael and arrived 15 minutes before close to get mashed potatoes and gravy for my son who had his wisdom teeth pulled that day. They had closed early, no sign saying such, so I just sat in the drive thru for 5 minutes waiting for a greeting. I was in the area the next day so I talked to a manager who wasn't the least bit sorry that I had been inconvenienced. They could have said, "Sorry, here's a free mashed potato and gravy," and I wouldn't be here leaving this review, but instead he reluctantly gave me a 10 percent discount. 10 percent on 6 bucks, so 60 cents off. You can imagine I don't feel that 60 cents makes up for my time and money wasted the night before. KFC as a company has every right to determine their hours of operation. If they want to close at 9:30 or even earlier, they're welcome to, but then don't have Google maps, your own website, and signs on your building saying that you're open until 10. Avoid this place. They don't care about the customer.
Nobody cares here and it shows. Just close already and sell to Popeyes. 10/21/24. 2 years later, gave them another try. My chicken sandwich was made with an old chicken tender. It was mostly greasy crust and pickles. Not even edible. To the owners, please just shut the doors and sell to another chicken chain. At least have the guts to answer to these failures online.
