Pasticceria Caffetteria Viganò Monza Reviews
Staff gentile, e sorridente. Buon caffè, e buone brioches. Prezzo alto.
Nuova gestione 🫶. Simpatici, accoglienti, affabili e veloci.
Servizio bar ottimo. Locale pulito con tavolini anche all'aperto. Prezzi standard.
Grazie 🙏
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best pastry shop in Monza, hands down. It's now become our favorite breakfast bar, and we couldn't do without it. Every time we come in here, it's like a trip straight to Paris. Beppe's brioche 🥐 was the first thing I asked for after giving birth. And that says it all! The brioches are an absolute spectacle: a divine pastry, perfectly buttery, fragrant, light, and perfect. You can really taste the butter, and it's an amazing sensation that's rarely found. The fillings are always generous, delicious, and of the highest quality. A brioche like this isn't just a breakfast: it's an experience. The service is impeccable, and the staff is simply excellent. Iris and Janet are the absolute best: professional, cheerful, attentive, and always smiling. The owners are the true soul of the place: extremely kind, friendly, and you can clearly feel they work with heart, pouring passion into every detail. A place that never disappoints, where quality, hospitality, and passion for their work come together. Highly recommended... in fact, unmissable.
Everything is SO good! We go there often and have never had a croissant that wasn't delicious! Great Beppe, and the patience and smiles of the girls...priceless! Well done, well done. Ale, Fabio, and Lori
On a rainy day, it's nice to enjoy a nice indoor slide. They have plenty of tables and a nice display case, perfect for people-watching. Unfortunately, there weren't many Viennese pastries on display. Probably because it was 10:30, but knowing they're open late, I would have expected more. The girl who explained the flavors helped us choose. It would have been nice to have labels, especially since we were told one of the products contained cream and chocolate chips, but once we picked it up, it turned out to be apricot jam. It wasn't a problem for me because I love apricot jam, but my friend, who doesn't, wasn't too happy with the surprise. You can see the effort and passion that goes into creating these products, perfectly flaky and unique compared to the average in Monza. Soft, varied, and colorful. It would be nice to go back and try other varieties, despite the slightly higher price.
Since we moved there, we've been there every Sunday. The owner's passion for making and sharing his brioches is spectacular. Excellent ingredients, a wide selection, and ingenuity make the counter never boring or the same. The girls at the counter are always super nice and helpful. Quality coffee and reasonable prices make it truly superb. Without a doubt, the best brioche in Monza and the surrounding area. I do the same job myself and can only compliment it.
The desserts are excellent and always fresh. The service and courtesy are top-notch. And after a year, I can say we're getting better and better. It's become a point of reference for us. Kindness, courtesy, politeness, and the excellent quality of the finest ingredients make your products a true delight. The photos of the Colomba are a prime example... You are fantastic. Rachele and Giovanni Another marvel...when brioches become works of art...delicious
Viganò is our go-to breakfast spot! The staff is fantastic (with special thanks to the girls), the place is modern, welcoming, and well-kept, and the croissants are incredible—by far the best we've found at any other bakery in the area! Plus, every weekend is a surprise with different specials, each one tastier than the last. What we love about this place, beyond the simple fact that it's a sweet tooth's paradise, is the tangible love and passion that translates into the owners' constant pursuit of innovative, high-quality products. The efforts are more than worthwhile, in our opinion, because the result is excellent!
Very beautiful and well-kept location! The staff was very kind and helpful. We had breakfast there, and I must say the products were truly top-quality! Excellent ingredients and carefully crafted products. You deserve 5 stars overall! We'll definitely be back. If you're in the area, you can't miss stopping by!
I stop by this place occasionally and must say that this is my absolute favorite bakery in Monza!! High quality products there’s also a big range to choose from both sweets and salts. I can highly recommend this!!
Really nice pasticceria. Good coffee, freshly baked brioches and pastries, and vegan options. Also clean bathroom with a changing table for babies.
Best bakery and coffee in the whole area. It has a great outdoor area and table service. Dogs are allowed, the staff is super friendly and the whole place is nice and clean. So much choice of cakes bakery and spirit. RECOMMENDED!!!!
Per la colazione. Scelta pazzesca di briosches, straordinarie. Caffetteria buonissima. Personale gentilissimo. Prezzi perfetti.
A pastry shop with an excellent selection of brioches and other artisanal sweets. I didn't particularly appreciate the buttery flavor of the brioches, though they were generally very good. The staff is professional and helpful. The place offers seating. The Christmas sweets are very unique and beautiful.
No negative comments about the desserts or croissants, which are truly excellent. The service, however, is lacking. I'd advise the owners to appoint a staff member to keep the stations clean, so they can monitor the room and prevent people from waiting or being forced to sit at a table still covered in cups and mess left by previous customers. The place is quite small and overall noisy, so orders are practically taken by shouting. I wholeheartedly recommend it, so if you want to go with friends for a chat, it's not the best place. That kind of place is for breakfast only, so stay just long enough to enjoy a delicious croissant and cappuccino, but nothing else.
Viganó Bar is truly a discovery! The brioches are spectacular, there's an incredible variety, all sublime. I tried the tiramisu one: simply out of this world, creamy and just the right amount of indulgence. The staff is incredibly kind, and the owner is also very friendly: he even asked if I liked the brioche, which isn't often the case! The only small complaint is the price: €4.50 for a brioche (even a large one) seems a bit steep. Otherwise, highly recommended for anyone looking for a high-quality breakfast!
I'm sad to note, after reading the other reviews, that we're not the only ones who've noticed the staff isn't at all friendly, and doesn't even respond to customers' "thank you." The barista seems almost annoyed by the order, doesn't remember what she was asked for, and seems disturbed by the customers' presence. It's a shame because the products are good, the variety is incredible, and it's clear the ingredients are top-quality.
After seeing a video about this place and its brioches, I purposely decided to go there on a Saturday. Arriving at 10:30, what I found was exactly what you see in the photo. Practically nothing, there was nothing left to choose from, the only brioche was the one in the photo. The brioche tasted like pure butter, and I didn't eat anything else all day because it was so heavy and difficult to digest until the evening. Maybe other brioches would be good, if I could find them 😅, but not that one. I don't recommend purposely going there from far away like me... but if you're close by and go very early, it might be worth it. P.S. Kudos to you for the terrible response. Out of over 320 reviews, which are always honest and based on my personal tastes (like all reviews written by all customers), it's the first rude and impolite response. Now I really don't recommend coming here 👏
It was our first time in this bar, as our usual one was closed for the holidays. Overall, I would say it was a good experience. The interior looks quite nice. The place isn’t too big, and with three people behind the bar, the service was quick. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 10:30 a.m., there weren’t many pastries left. That’s understandable, though, since it’s the holiday season and many people are out of the city. We ordered cappuccinos and two filled brioches. The quality of the pastries was amazing—much better than I expected. The filling quantity was generous, which I really appreciated. The brioche with cream was very good, but the one with pistachio cream was not what I was hoping for. Instead of pure pistachio cream, it was a mix of pastry cream and pistachio cream. This made the pistachio flavor much less noticeable, especially considering it cost €2.50. The mixture also gave the cream an unappealing color. The cappuccino was good, though a little watery, so not perfect. Still, I’ll definitely come back to try other pastries and their ice cream.

ATTENZIONE
I felt like I was entering a private home. Our entrance evidently annoyed the two waitresses, who were chatting amiably and comfortably, leaning against the counter. We enter, say hello... but no one reciprocates, nor even deigns to look us in the face. When I ask if we could sit down, one of them, with an indifferent grimace and a grunt, barely nods, indicating a table. An unwelcoming attitude that makes her totally unsuitable for the role. I think to myself, the welcome seems truly attentive, cordial, and warm. Consistency reigns supreme at the checkout: I pay, we say hello, and in response, absolute nothingness, broken only by the buzzing of flies. We pity and acknowledge this clear example of a human case, one who lacks the awareness to understand that he cannot do this job: he lacks aptitude, professionalism, and skill. And the most serious thing is precisely the presumption of believing he is capable. So, if you want to feel pampered, go there without delay: they will make you feel truly special!
