My family stopped here after a busy morning at the Caves and it was such a nice and fresh meal to recharge before we headed to Barton Springs. Staff was super friendly and I would recommend the club with jalapeños.

Super friendly staff! My husband and I frequent the New Braunfels location all of the time. Their fresh ingredients and delicious soups set them a level above Subway or other chain sandwich shops. Highly recommend!

Best sandwich I’ve had in months!!! Thank you, especially to the New Braunfels location, for a great first-time ordering experience amidst COVID-19 for someone with dietary restrictions. The staff was welcoming, straightforward, and extremely helpful. As someone with Celiac Disease, lactose intolerance, and a few other dietary needs, I found the staff to be helpful without oversharing their personal experiences. I’m hopeful for a return trip when in the ThunderCloud region again!

ThunderCloud Subs is an awesome spot for fresh, made-to-order hoagies and subs! They serve big portions, and if you’re gluten-free, you can even go without the roll, which is a nice option. They really load up the subs, so you’ll likely have leftovers to enjoy later. Prices are great for what you get. The location is a bit small, but it’s easy to find and parking is convenient. This place really puts other sub shops to shame, especially if you’re craving something better. Definitely recommend getting the Big Paul—it's a favorite! **Pros:** - Fresh, made-to-order subs - Large portions with an option for gluten-free - Reasonable prices - Easy to find and park **Cons:** - Location is small, but cozy and worth it!

The 2 young guys manning the shop provided the BEST customer service, absolutely 5 stars there. My sandwich was tasty, made to order, no qualms. I’d never eaten there before so the finely shredded lettuce was interestingly odd but ok. The shop itself is dingy and could use a refresh. Everyone who came in was promptly greeted and served and left happy. Good job to the employees, shop owner could do better regarding the appearance of the place. Also it’d be nice if toasting the bread was an option.

It was just alright, I go the Italia sub and a tortilla soup the tortilla soup has the consistency of baby food and a sandwich was just all right

Food was not great. The guy who helped me out seemed like I was insulting him by just ordering a sandwich, he was absolutely miserable and did not make me or my family feel welcome at all. There was another lady there who was quite nice, that’s why I’m giving two stars instead of one. Overall, would probably not go back.

Much better than subway but still not that great. Might have been a one off thing but when I came to this location the vegetables in my sandwich were all pretty soggy and it’s not because I got sauce. Seemed a little old. Still enjoy their other locations though.

I gave the sandwich 1 star purely based on the amount of meat that was not on the sandwich. Literally two thin slices of turkey. I was mostly eating a Mayo and lettuce sub.

I will never eat here again! It was my first day eating here from out of town. One of the workers started talking about a friend of theirs.That was christian and labeled them "super religous" and making fun of that person's beliefs. That is very inappropriate.How you hate on any religion in a public setting. That person needs to be fired
