Our waiter, "i dont remember his name". but he was very polite and great customer service he provide us and very patient with our order. The food was delicious well done AMAZING!!!👏 ✔️ 😋 👌 I will come back to try another dish. I really recommend this location for any occasion. We’ve been wanting to try Cafe Con Leche and I wish we had sooner. The restaurant itself is adorable inside. The food and drinks were exceptional. I had the pernil mofongo and it was delicious. Our waiter was also incredibly kind and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to come back.

Brought my wife here for Valentine's Day and we had a blast. Our waitress was amazing and recommended this pomegranate and coconut margarita and it was delicious. I had 3 of them. For appetizers I had the calamari and my wife got the tour of Puerto rico and it was all so good. For our entree I got the special for the night, which was a softito Ribeye. It was outstanding. My wife got some kind of garlic shrimp and steak over rice which was also very very good. We just moved to the area and my wife has been putting out hints that she wanted to go hear so I figured Valentine's Day would be perfect and it was. We both enjoyed ourselves and will be back, but next time we will come and try their brunch. Thank you for making our Valentine's Day special.

This is my second time at this location and the food and drinks are just consistently delicious. Mys was my server the first time and she was fantastic. Very personable and great with recommendations. 2nd time today and was served by Deghan and was awesome as well. I’ll be back and keep bringing people her with me. Thanks!

If you'd like to enjoy authentic and tasty delights of Puerto Rico without buying a plane ticket, you count on Café Con Leche. Even before you open the doors of this establishment, we were welcomed by the song of Coquí frogs, playing at the entrance. It offers you to experience Puerto Rican sazón, and nostalgic ambience while giving a family friendly environment all at once. We ordered 2 of the 6 specials they had on a Friday; the Octopus salad with was not too citrus for, so it was "reflux friendly" and the Seafood Mofongo Relleno with Lobster. The presentation was spectacular as it was delicious. The dish is meant for two people but it was much more than my husband and I could eat and ended up take home the rest. My boys both had white rice with beans abd the portions were pretty big for them as well. My oldest ordered a cheeseburger and it was delicious. I cannot end this post without shouting the coconut and passion fruit margarita on the rocks that we we've ordered twice and has made us regular customers here. Thanks to Ariana for her amazing service despite it being busy and a Kiss to the chef and God bless ! 🥰

My husband and I just went recently for our anniversary and everything was amazing! The atmosphere, the service and especially the food!! The food reminds me of my Abuelas cooking. If you want to eat authentic Puerto Rican food this is the place for you! WEPA!

We finally made it to Cafe con Leche! It was NOT disappointing! Loved the greeting all the way to paying the bill! Very nice entrée. I see flair on the hamburger bun that was on the cheese burger I ordered for my daughter. Very nice touches on all dishes actually. I will be back!

After being turned away at noninnas across the street, we stumbled across this place. Visiting from NYC for the night, we were hoping for some good food and vibes. What a pleasant surprise we got! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and made feel at home. We sat at the bar and ate. The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. She made great drink’s. The food was so good. Real authentic puerto rican flavors. We ordered the skirt steak and red snapper. Both delicious!! This spot is a must try if in the area!!

Hands down the best Puerto Rican restaurant outside of the island! 10 out of 10 on flavor, portions, and ambiance. The beans taste like abuelas. The rice is cooked to perfection. The mofongo, perfect texture!!! While the flavors keep your tastebuds alive and craving more, the artwork in the space makes you crave the island herself.

First time going there...environment was fun, music and Christmas decorations made the place look beautiful. The food was great...pricey but generous servings, fresh and full of flavor. Waitress was so so...

I had dined at Cafe con Leche only twice before I knew it was where I wanted to celebrate my 50th birthday. It is very hard to find authentic and delicious PuertoRican food in the upstate NY area, and even though it is an hour away from where I live, it is worth every minute of the drive. Not only was I sold on the food, but the fact they have a separate room with space for up to 50 people with its own entrance and bathrooms finished sealing the deal for me. My theme was tropical, and the “Abuela’s Room” decor also lended a perfect backdrop. I worked with Ray, the catering manager, to plan out all the details of the party. The variety (and amount!) of food choices for my buffet style birthday lunch included something for everyone on my guest list. He was informative, professional and always available to answer any and all questions I had, every step of the way. Everything is spelled out in a contract and guarantees there is no room for confusion or misunderstandings. Ray and management allowed decorations so I worked with a local vendor (Ana at Beautiful Balloons) who already knew the space and knew exactly how and where to position everything. So far my experience had already been fantastic, but the cherry on top was being assigned Ariana as the hostess on the day of my party. To say she multi-tasked is an understatement. She took drink orders for my party of 30 guests, served, made sure every meal change was timed perfectly and helped me coordinate different aspects of my party with suggestions that truly elevated the whole experience. She even had the owner/chef and staff come up to sing happy birthday! She was in constant communication with me, and a step ahead of every request I had. She truly went above and beyond. My guests raved about the food, the service and the experience. Ray even checked in one last time once the event ended and asked how everything went. My party was a dream come true and exceeded any and all expectations I could have had! I would absolutely, without a doubt do it all over again!

I will hope that my grandmother doesn't hate me for this. But this is the best Puerto Rican food I've ever had! Worth the 1hr drive I will tell the world of this place

As a Puerto Rican living in Orlando, I can confidently say Café Con Leche in the Hudson Valley is the real deal! The flavors are authentic, rich, and truly remind me of home. Every dish is made with love and you can taste it in every bite. Orlando has plenty of Puerto Rican restaurants, but honestly, none of them compare to this place! The food, the atmosphere, and the service are all absolutely top notch. If you want to experience Puerto Rican cuisine done right, this is the spot. I can’t wait to come back! 🌴🇵🇷☕️ From the appetizer to the dessert! Gosh! This place is amazing!

One doesn't HAVE to be Boricua to enjoy the creatively delicious Puerto Rican cuisine at CAFÉ CON LECHE, although, of course it wouldn't hurt, as those who are would feel right at home. The food, service AND atmosphere have ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ in my book. My first visit in a party of 8 opened the door to future visits. Recommend trying the house hot sauce and finishing your meal with their namesake. Enjoy

Food was amazing, service was outstanding. Each bite took me back home. I wish I lived closer just so I can come here on the regular. I highly recommend this if you're in the area and want authentic Puerto Rican food.

Delicious food and huge portions, we had enough food to have for lunch the following day! They offered different specials on top of their regular dinner menu. We chose two of them and they were phenomenal! The atmosphere makes you feel like you are visiting someone’s home and they’ve prepared you a beautiful dinner. Our server (sadly I do not recall her name) was very efficient and friendly.

My boyfriend was trying to find a new place to try for our anniversary and this place was a DIME. We started off with this delicious bread that came to the table on the house. It was so good that we had to hold ourselves back in order to eat our food. We got a Guava margarita and a ParchaCoco margarita(a passion fruit marg w/ coconut) and it was amazing! Absolutely recommend it. For food, we started with the Yunque Fries and YUM! Definitely get it with the pernil. They have the option of getting it with chicken. The sauce layered on top of it really was key. For our entrees, we tried the red snapper and the Churrasco. Both so rich and delicious. The steak had the right amount of chimichurri and the red snapper was cooked just right! The arroz con gandules was so good that my boyfriend said “I feel like it’s my mom cooking back there”. We ended our dinner with the coquito crème brûlée which was the cherry on top. Coming back here soon and bringing the family because I feel selfish knowing about this place and they don’t.

If you love generous portions, flavorful food, and great drinks, this is the place! We came for my birthday on a saturday night. I started with a guava margarita and my guest had a lemon drop martini—both were delicious. Our waitress was super friendly and she took time to explain the menu and answer questions we had. The mini Jibaritos were amazing and 3 was more than enough for the two of us. For mains, I had the chuleta kan kan with yuca fries (a special), and my guest had the churrasco, with arroz con gandules, beans and tostones. Everything tasted like I was back in puerto rico and was packed with flavor. The portions were also massive. We had enough to eat leftovers for a couple days. To top off the meal I tried the tres leche, this was probably my least favorite dish of the evening. It wasn’t bad, just very average compared to everything else. Overall, everything was a bit pricey, but totally worth it. We left full and happy. I’m excited to come back and try more.

I visited this establishment today and have been here before without any issues. The food was good, and our server was nice. However, I was concerned when the bill arrived. A 20% gratuity had been added. The receipt clearly states that automatic gratuity is applied to parties of five or more, and there were only three of us. When we asked our server about it, she explained that a 20% gratuity is automatically added when the bill is $200 or more. If that is the policy, it should be clearly communicated—either on the menu or on the receipt. The receipt only referenced parties of five or more, which made the additional charge confusing and unexpected. It just seemed odd, and I believe there needs to be clearer and more transparent communication regarding gratuity policies.

Went here for a birthday dinner that was kept upstairs. The place was decorated beautifully not even for the birthday but for the season, very festive I must add. The service was great and one particular girl who stood out was Sophie ( hope I got her name right). Always checking if we needed anything, very attentive, and didnt miss a beat on any of the orders. The food was good but not great. Some items were a little too seasoned/salty while others lacked. However, I did enjoy the friend calamari and rice and beans. Based on feedback the salmon was also great. Overall a great visit.

We've been really curious and finally stopped and went inside. Sat us right away even without reservations. Fantastic staff--nothing worse than inattentive crew. Great cocktails (I tried Lalandia), appetizer was the sushi arañitas (yum!), and finally churrasco for him, perní con arróz mampoteao for me. All delicious!! Took the coquito cheesecake to go (no room in the panza for dessert) but we have high expectations. Coming from the Bronx I guess we're snobs and thought we'd never find anything comparable near Poughkeepsie... very happily surprised to find Cafe Con Leche. Comfortable and easy to get to.. we'll be back AND will recommend it to friends.
