I never gave this place a chance, until recently, and IM SO HAPPY I DID!! The rice is so fluffy, the sesame chicken is really great quality (no weird bits!) and still crunchy despite the sauce. Sweet and sour chicken is also really delicious and crispy with satisfying sauce. Also had their wontons and dumplings, it’s clear they just serve good quality food. They’re my new go to Chinese now and I’ve lived in newburgh forever so that says something

This is the best Chinese food in the area, in my opinion. It's always fresh and delicious. We don't eat pork and they are very accommodating with substitutions and any changes we request. They are also very kind and the restaurant is clean.

Food ranks #1 in surrounding area. Owners greet you, upon walking in the door. Clean, can use a little Modern updates (paint, etc.). Since they were so friendly, I decided to eat in.

Love their food, especially when Momma cooking. My favorite Chinese food next to China Star in Middletown. I've been eating here forever. Love General Tso's and chicken and broccoli are delicious. ❤️

Not sure what took me so long to find Happy Garden. It's within 3 miles, but I continued to give business to 3 other places that didn't come close to the freshness and flavor of the food and cleanliness of this place. Ordered Singapore Mei Fun. Probably the best I've ever had! The pepper steak w onions, steamed dumplings and eggrolls were fantastic as well. This will be the only place I'll ever need to go. Hoping for consistency !!

The food is ok. I’d go here if you’re not close to your own best Chinese food restaurant. But I’d rather stick with my number one choice my opinion. Service could be more friendly.

Called in my order as a treat for my son, ordering for the first and last time because how you get french fries burned and cold at the same time.... Some of the food wasn't too bad but the customer service would need some improvement.

The chicken wings are small and I was told it was medium and then told they were all the same size. They charge very close to $9.00 for 5 of these chicken wings. This is ridiculous and absolutely not worth the money. I recommend coming in person and seeing them for yourself before you order on line. It’s a shame she had to lie, cover up the lie and then smile/have a fake laugh while doing so.

My food was not good. I don't usually come here but my normal spot was closed. They don't cook the food with enough sauce, so it was very dry. I had to drown it in duck sauce just to be able to eat it. My broccoli tasted weird. Fried wontons was overcooked with little to no meat inside and the sauce for the wontons was watery, instead of thick like it usually is at other locations. With prices going up everywhere, if I'm paying over $30 for food, I would like for it to be worth it.

Just got home after a long trip and was craving sesame tofu and broccoli but my usual go to spot is closed on Tuesdays so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered two dinners and paid about $28 bucks. It tasted like tofu and broccoli in maple syrup so 95% of it is going in the trash. Very disappointed.

Their phones conveniently do not work. Never ordering food here again. BIG disappointment. Would give no stars if I could.
