Bigoi Venezia New York Reviews
Awesome house-made pasta dishes at a reasonable price. Don't think you can wrong with anything here.
Excellent pasta, perfectly cooked with rich and generous sauces. Love this place. Sebastian (the owner) is very nice, we had a great chat and enjoyed our time at Bigoi. His staff are warm and very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Excellent food and value for money!
My fiancé and I have been to this place last week after our trip to the MET, and we were truly impressed. The pasta is very authentic, and, surprisingly, reasonably priced (especially for this area). Their staff is very nice. I can't wait to visit it again to try more of their pasta dishes.
I’ve been ordering from the restaurant since they’ve opened. I moved away from UES a few years ago but was in the area Sunday so I brought my mom. The food is delicious as always but what really made the experience go above and beyond was the owner going around and talking to all the customers asking not only about the food but getting to know his customers. The staff as always, amazing. This place is it!! Great food, great staff and you can tell they genuinely care about the product. I can’t wait to be back.
Best pasta in NYC! I love this place. Consistently accurate fast delivery of superb pasta. Never had a bad meal here. One of my goals is to try every pasta dish on the menu. The owner is delightful, and the lady at the register is kind and intelligent in her work. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Try it: you won’t be sorry!
We ordered online direct from the restaurant and saved fees for fabulous, fresh pasta delivered in half the predicted time! Great food, great service! It’s the first meal I want every time I come to NYC. It is the best pasta in the western hemisphere.
I stopped by for the first time today and took takeout. The Grana e Pepe pasta was cooked perfectly. The thick pasta was absolutely perfect and the sauce was incredible. I am usually very picky about pasta to go but this was heaven! I will absolutely be back. The staff (and maybe the owner) were so kind and friendly. You must absolutely go!
I had an amazing experience at this pasta place! The pasta was incredibly delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of rich flavor. I was genuinely impressed by how fresh everything tasted. Even more surprising was their generosity—they gave me a free serving of pasta, which truly made my day. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment I walked in. It’s rare to find a place that cares this much about both quality and customer experience. I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone who loves great pasta!
I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed so much a freshly made pasta 🍝 with such a delicious tomato sauce that brought me back to my childhood, and enhanced even to higher levels of flavor!! Me and my partner were surprised when the chef and owner of the business came to our table to ask us our opinion about the dish, such a lovely humble man! You can tell he loves what he creates and does, and his passion about cooking and of course Venice! He told us about where he came from and had a very lovely personality. The girl on the register is very very sweet as well as the other man helping in the kitchen. The pasta is thick and reminded me of udon noodles, which we loved! There is so much variety of dishes! I loved that! We can’t wait to go back to try a different dish!
Good portion sizes with affordable prices. The texture of the noodles is perfectly chewy and I love how firm they are, just like the ones I had in Italy. The owner/chef is kind and provides excellent service. Even though this is more of a takeaway place, they still offer dine-in service which is a nice bonus.
Absolutely delicious fresh homemade pasta. Have it on the go, have it on the spot always. They are absolutely great. You don’t need to fork $40 for this and they are superb: Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino - Garlic, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Red Pepper & Fresh Parsley & Bolognese Classica - Ground Beef, Pork & Tomatoes. are my favorites ❤️❤️❤️
A tiny slice of heaven was found when my daughter and I went to this restaurant. We walked 40 minutes to get here and boy was it worth it! The food was delicious and we finished every last drop. Generous portions and very friendly people. We met what we believe was the owne, and he is a gem. I have been to Italy and this pasta was better than anything we experienced in Venice, Rome, Positano! Thank you for a wonderful experience. I only wish you had a bigger restaurant closer to where we stay.
5 stars all around! A neighborhood staple fresh pasta joint. A simple menu, food featuring the same fresh perfectly cooked pasta with your selection of sauces! The pea prosciutto sauce is my favorite! The bolognese one is also a classic go-to. Eat on a stool at the small tall counter (with a real plate and fork) or take it to go. Such kind and friendly service and a clean place. They are quick, and the pasta is fresh and hot! Enjoy!
If you are looking for the best pasta in the world- you found it!!!🤩 Definitely the best you will ever get. They have a smaller selection of around 10 pasta meals but each of them is pure perfection. You can decide if you want some for take away or eat right there. They even gave us tap water without even asking but you can also get fresh drinks! (Also they have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options🌱) Also you could not get better service…they are definitely the nicest and sweetest people ever and will check if everything is alright or love to tell you everything about the fresh self made pasta and the idea behind their little pasta restaurant. I have visited last year for the first time and have eaten there 3 times in 7 days. It is really the best spot in NY and one of my absolute highlights in the city. Best price, best service and the absolute best pasta ever!🍝
My visit to Bigoi Venezia was a solid 4-star experience. The food and service were the highlights, both earning 4 stars for their quality and professionalism. The atmosphere provided a dependable 3-star backdrop for a high-quality meal.
I’ve been wanting to experience this place for almost a year now! The food was so flavorful but I had to give it only 4 stars because my noodles were definitely undercooked and not al dente. It was hard to get past it so ultimately I packed the food up to go. Also, my San pelligreno was completely flat. Aside from that, service was customer focused which I could appreciate and the atmosphere was calm & quiet. Two things NYC doesn’t offer often. I would definitely come back go try another dish.
Really not sure how this place has 4.8 stars which is a super high bar for Italian food in nyc. This place is take out only and very affordable, so I don’t expect life changing pasta but it was … mediocre at best. Had the one with ham and peas. Order was finishing up when I arrived, walked 5 minutes home, and the sauce was already so congealed and pasty. Added hot water to loosen it up but it was still super pasty. Flavor was okay, very salty, but it’s hard not to be at least decent flavor wise when the main ingredients are cream, cheese, and ham lol but beyond that, there wasn’t much depth. Noodles were good (cooked well/al dente) but the super thick ones are not my preference, guess I should have looked more at the noodles that it came with. Maybe it was just an off night for this spot or maybe red sauce based dishes hold up better to take out (although if take out is the main business, they should all be designed to work well for that) but either way, I probably won’t order again.
