Blue Haven New York Reviews
I love this place! Been coming since 2023 and I really enjoy the atmosphere. Sami is a great bartender & I appreciate the way she connects with all the customers! Will of course be coming back 😊
Best Buffalo Chicken Sandwich I’ve had to date in NYC. I’m originally from Buffalo, NY and finding decent wings outside of Buffalo is a challenge. Finding a Buffalo chicken sandwich on par with places in Buffalo is impossible. I found it here, I go back every time I’m in the mood for a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and I don’t live super close. It’s worth the trip!
Great atmosphere and excellent service ! We came for the summer I turned pretty watch party they host every Wednesday night at 7pm and it was very cool experience. I would recommend taking rsvp in advance for table because it gets really crowded if you want a seat. Get the Jeremiah drink (peachy Moscow mule was 10/10).
I stopped in here on a whim while I was in the area and was pleasantly surprised. As busy as it was, I was greeted the second I walked in and taken care of rather quickly. I wish I could remember the bartenders name, because she was absolutely amazing! Very friendly, helpful, and even paired my drinks with what food I ordered. Speaking of food, no matter what you get from here, you're going to love it. Bar food is usually a hit or miss, and this place is definitely a hit! The establishment is also very well kept and clean from bar to bathroom. I'm glad I decided to stop in or else I would've missed out on this experience. If you're in the area and looking for a great bar with quality drinks, food, and atmosphere, look no further.
Blue Haven sits in a cool location and is a great spot to grab a drink. Sit back and watch them one of the many TVs that has sports airing. Anytime I'm in the city. It's worth stopping by this cool little spot surrounded by lots of great restaurants. Always attentive, courteous and friendly staff make this a must-stop.
Blue Haven West is a go-to for me to watch games. Inside is great and can get rowdy which adds to the atmosphere. There’s also a ton of outdoor space for when it’s nice out. Don’t sleep on the food either! The General Tso Cauliflower is incredible. Same with the wings and the chicken tenders. Don’t let the funky flat tenders fool you… they are delicious. I get the smoked soy sauce on the side… so good! Some of the best bar food in the city.
The doorman is on a power trip, insulted and threatened to fight me just because I was annoyed I had to go back and get my ID as a 40+ year old regular at this dump of a bar. Why does this dive even need a doorman during the day at all?
My friends and I always go to the Blue Havens around the city and it’s a fun time. However, we went for football yesterday and the bouncer kept bumping into our group aggressively and tried to fight our friend. It was a chill Sunday and so uncalled for. We will not be going back.
I enjoy this place and have come here often, however yesterday the bouncer was extremely intoxicated and/or aggressive, he stumbled into me, cursed me out and threatened me, and then turned around and bumped into my sister so hard she dropped her drink to which he also cursed her out! I confronted him and ended up getting dragged out of the bar by another bouncer, and the intoxicated bouncer tried to fight me on the street… this is a terrible look for a bar that’s otherwise very solid all around, but everyone in my group was shocked and uncomfortable and won’t be returning until mgmt fixes the issue. I see a lot of other 1-star reviews with similar stories about this bouncer
Blue Haven ownership: not sure if you’re aware, but your staff is stealing from hardworking New Yorkers. Made the mistake of dropping in here for a $6 bud light draft on August 18 after work. The female bartender helped herself to a nice $55 tip on my card after I left. Avoid
