Bosino New York Reviews
I stopped by this small, cozy place and loved it. Great pizza, amazing tiramisu, super friendly service. A true hidden gem.
Very nice neighborhood place; I had the Bosino pizza and it was very good (maybe a little bit too “rich”/cheesy for me but I still ate everything…); clients seem to be regulars and Salvatore takes very good care of them; I had a lovely dinner outside and felt like part of the family 🙂 Grazie mille, Salvatore !
I recently discovered this charming little Italian restaurant in the neighborhood, and I must say it’s a true gem! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Salvatore and the entire team, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere. The dishes are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and every bite is a delight. Whether it’s the homemade pasta, pizza or the Italian desserts, everything was absolutely delicious! The service was simply extraordinary. The owner was attentive, friendly, and passionate about his food, which made our experience even more special. If you're looking for a place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a warm atmosphere, look no further! I highly recommend this restaurant!
This is my experience of NYC in my first 3 hours of being here. So far I❤️❤️❤️❤️NY. The staff here made me feel welcome - valued even. Small groups of diners were all very engaged and the whole atmosphere was joyful. I had the daily special pizza and it was oozing with all the adjectives one would use for superlatative pizza. The crust was noteworthy. I stumbled, almost literally, upon this place as it is across the street from my hostel. Excellent menu entices me to be here daily for my stay.
My very first night in NYC and I am lucky enough to be staying right across the street from this most excellent eatery. Tonight I had the daily special pizza accompanied by the house wine. The whole menu is appetizing. Even as a solo diner I received prompt, courteous service. The other tables of customers were all in high spirits and it’s no doubt to me it is just the vibe here. I especially enjoy that I feel welcome to linger over my wine. I ❤️NY and Bosino Brick Oven Pizza
Very good pizza! They have daily special pizzas and special pastas/appetizers/desserts etc. as well as a very nice regular menu. We tried the special pizza of the day and it was amazing! They give you chili flakes for the pizza as well as chili honey for the crust. This is a nice neighbor restaurant. They have chairs for babies. There are indoor and outdoor tables. Love their tiramisu! (We’ve been to Italy many times so we do know good Italian food)
Hands down the best Italian in the neighborhood—authentic pastas, delicious pizzas, and a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff are always friendly, and the owner is a blast—great with kids, which makes dining out as a family so much easier and more enjoyable. We’ve been coming in weekly since our first visit, and they’ve been consistently fantastic every single time. One note: indoor dining can feel a bit cramped and warm in the summer since the AC doesn’t quite keep up. Thankfully, they’ve got a lovely outdoor area that’s perfect for smaller groups (up to four people). Highly recommended!
Wonderful hidden eatery! Very nice staff! Very welcoming & accommodating.. Terrific pizzas!! Warm chewy crusts that were airy & delicious. We had the Elisa & special soppresata… Pesto pasta was light & tasty.. Bosino salad was very nice & lemony. We had a very nice dinner Highly recommended!
It’s close to Hi New York City Hostel and the restaurant opens until 23:00 so that I can have a late dinner. The Appetizer Special Burrata is incredibly amazing! Strongly recommend 😋 and the pasta is also good to try but I am so full for taking two dish! And the service is so nice and warm. They responses very fast!
4.5+ stars rounded up. As a first timer and someone who’s been wanting to eat here for a few years, Bosino did not disappoint. The special imported black truffle burrata appetizer is something I’ll be thinking about for a while. So delicious. While the pizzas were good, nice chewy but not dried crust, I have to say they were a bit overloaded (is that a good thing or a bad thing?). By the time I was half way through the small pie, the pizza was a little soggy. The staff was efficient. The owner was super friendly. Prices are on par with what a decent meal costs in this neighborhood. Oct 2023. Went back Dec 2023, and everything’s still very good. We had a polenta app, the eggplant app and a pizza. For 2, it was too much food.
If your favorite Italian cousin owned a restaurant his name would be Davide and this would be his place. From the moment you walk in till you walk out hugging everyone the hospitality is worth of a Michelin stared restaurant. I have been here a few times with friends who live in the area and every time the food is exceptional. While the majority of their menu is pizza their salads and antipasti are also great. The 12” pizza is plenty for your average human, so ordering several and sharing is a rock star move. Everything is fresh and as authentic as you can get. If you don’t live in the area be sure to make a trip, sit outside on a warm or crisp evening and enjoy. You won’t be sorry you did.
Amazing authentic Italian pizza, personally my favorite in New York City! This is a different kind of pizza compared to a regular Neapolitan and I haven't found any other place in the city that is able to make it the same way. The crust is light and crunchy, making it so incredibly good! Five star all the way, from the dough to the quality of the ingredients. I also love they carry a rare beer imported from Italy which I also have never seen anywhere else. The place is super cute, with dimmed lights, beautiful decor and very cozy. It's a fantastic little gem!
