Starbucks could learn a thing or two here. Best latte i've ever had and the food selection was huge! And fresh fruit! We will be coming back every day during this stay. Very pleased with this gem.

Well stopped here on Thanksgiving, not too busy, plenty of places to sit, right atmosphere, good looking food, tea and hot chocolate are great.

Aroma café always provides me with my morning coffee. The customer service is amigable, they are so nice and professional. I usually get the caramel latte with oat milk, Turkey bacon egg and cheese on a croissant or bagel, and blueberry muffin. Aroma is perfect for the neighborhood, they’re always busy!

The best coffee I’ve ever had! Great service. The place was packed but we hardly had to wait for our food and drinks. The pistachio croissant was delicious. Can’t wait to come back to try the pistachio macarons.

Fantastic Breakfasts. Friendly hard working staff and a lovely atmosphere. We are here three times during our NYC trip.

We’ve used this place three times in the last 3 days. The coffee is good and the food is even better. It’s a genuine cafe run by genuine people. When it’s busy it is super crazy so I’d recommend going during a quieter period where the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing.

I absolutely love Cafe Aroma! I was in NYC last week for a college related conference, and Cafe Aroma became “my place” for the week. The staff is so kind, and remembered me by the end of the week. It definitely helped this small town girly feel at home in the city. The coffee is fantastic! I highly recommend the hot cinnamon vanilla latte. There’s also so many delicious treats to choose from! I loved the strawberry custard croissant. Cafe Aroma will be my first stop next time I’m in the town. 🫶🏻✨

Great cafe in town, presented a good quality of coffee and pastries. Everything was made fresh daily and delicious. Don’t think, just go grab your favorite coffee and pastries, so you’ll never be disappointed.

Stopped for a spot of lunch. Cream cheese and salmon bagel was huge but tasty. Oat latte was superb. Outdoor seating as well to take in the sights and sounds of a vibrant city.

I find myself thinking about this place often. Workers here consistently show friendly attitudes. This restaurant was notably enjoyable. The cooking shines with fresh items. This place demonstrates real expertise.

I've included this restaurant in my personal must-try list for others. I plan to share with relatives this place that succeeds at both good food and good service. You'll find unique taste matches that challenge expectations. Workers gave courteous attention. I support visiting this place.

Great coffee, pancakes and waffles for breakfast. We stayed in the Sheraton and had breakfast here twice. Friendly staff, quick service and lovely food. Office workers were collecting pre-ordered coffees and food too, so definitely a place for everyone. Loved the soya lattes.

We came here on our first morning in New York and have been back every morning since. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the coffee is delicious!! We will definitely be returning when we come back to NYC next year!

Café Aroma is a great find for anyone who wants healthy food without giving up flavor. The acai bowl was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully made; real fruit, crunchy granola, and a portion that actually fills you up. You can taste the difference in the ingredients; everything feels clean and made with care. The menu has a huge variety, from breakfast sandwiches to salads, smoothies, and pastries that look almost too good to eat. The café itself is bright, organized, and spotless (you can tell they take pride in running it well). Service was quick and friendly, and it’s the kind of place that works equally well for a quick grab-and-go or sitting down to relax. A perfect stop if you want something fresh, healthy, and actually satisfying.

Wonderful chicken sandwich in an everything croissant, good place to grab a quick bite or eat healthy breakfast or lunch- right next to our hotel!

Great place, coffee delicious (for me if the coffee is still delicious after no sugar is the best) and the bagels with the house cream cheeses are amazing.

Hungry to eat a quick sandwiche or craving for delicious sweets, this modern, clean, and well stocked little café will be a great place for you. I had two small cakes, coffee and espresso. All get 10+ passing grades for taste and quality.

Clean and fresh. Place has good vibes z Didn’t try the coffee but pastry’s are amazing! It was four dollars for the cookie and a cup of milk very affordable

Best NY coffee ☕ by far !!!! It's not only they are the only ones who serve lactose free milk, the best flavour till now wanted to photo what I have eaten, however it was over before the phone was available 🤣

The customer service at this place was excellent. The clerk overcharged me, but he gave me the correct change. The store was quite busy, but it looked clean and inviting. The staff were very attentive and provided quick service to everyone.

This is my family and I’s favorite cafe, not only is there amazing service from genuine people but there is plenty of seating room and enjoyable music to get any type of day started. We came for our first time in the afternoon and found ourselves back in the morning where we were let in early. The bagels are incredibly fresh with addictive cream cheese! I highly recommend a triple threat of bagel sandwich, their signature house blend coffee, and a selection from their variety of delectable pastries. Great place for families and individuals alike. Close proximity to time’s square! Thank you guys for a great morning :)

Perfect for a quick bite. Not the best tasting food ever but it does the job. Desserts are good and the service was great. Very polite Latino man was serving us

Today we went back to the café. We love how they treat us; the two young men are very kind and provide excellent service. The coffee was amazing — the best I’ve ever had. And the burgers were also really good.😇😇😇

Stopped for a quick drink and breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by both. The bagel sandwich was fresh and hot and the Blood Orange iced refresher was absolutely amazing. Seriously wish I had asked for a recipe before leaving so I could make myself one back in Alabama. Loved it and loved breakfast that day.

Cafe Aroma is an absolute gem if you are staying in Manhattan near Central Park and Times Square. This bakery and coffee shop is truly amazing and quickly became part of my daily routine during my stay in New York. The bakery selection is outstanding with great quality pastries, baked goods, and fresh options every day. You can also order sandwiches, which are perfect for breakfast or a quick lunch. Their warm drinks including coffee, tea, and shakes are excellent and very comforting, especially in the morning. Every morning, I would get ready, stop by Cafe Aroma, grab something fresh to eat and a warm drink, and start my day feeling energized and happy. It was the perfect way to begin each day in Manhattan. If you are staying near Central Park or Times Square and looking for a reliable, high quality coffee shop and bakery, I highly recommend visiting Cafe Aroma. It is a fantastic spot for breakfast, coffee breaks, and quick bites while exploring New York City.

Excellent lattes. The cronuts were great. The plain coffee isn’t my favorite. I tend to like a darker roast. Lighter roasts tend to be more sour tasting.

W

It's a good place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast with warm coffee and food in the morning. They have a wide variety of bagels, and the toast is delicious too.

K

ONE OF THE BEST CAFE IN MID MANHATTAN...THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS AND THE DRINKS AS WELL..AND THE FRIENDLY GUY OVER THERE. THE PLACE IS VERY COZY . ONLY THING THAT PROBLEM IS THE PRICE ARE LITTLE BIT HIGH..

L
Lydia Harris

Satisfying but not overwhelming. Solid fare but nothing special. Good variety. Egg sandwich is not fancy but hits the spot, the bacon is quality. Bagel with cream cheese is alright, but not very exciting as far as the NY bagel standards go. Bagel was kinda dry, and strawberry cream cheese seemed slightly fake. Matcha latte was also fine. Solid cafe vibe, but not a whole lot of seating. Overall good experience.

Y
Y H

I love the variety of options they have here for breakfast! But overpriced in my opinion. The croissants are overall good, I really enjoyed the strawberries and cream one! The matcha is very good, very strong and even the smaller size is quite big. Their smoothies are really not worth it, very runny and overpriced, and same goes for the pistachio crossaint.. it lacked flavor, but the pastry was good! The main issue I had was with the fact that the price on the board is not correct.. expect to pay about 2-3 dollars more per item than listen

L
Liya Bartsch

They had a good selection of breakfast and lunch foods, including açai bowls, which I thought was nice for a deli. They also had convenient downstairs seating although the decorations were quite minimal overall, it was a pretty good breakfast!! 👍😋

R
Rachel

Great amenities and table space for relaxing, but the food and drinks were incredibly overpriced for mediocre quality. The chai latte tasted like steamed milk with a sniff of cinnamon. Croissant had a large hole in the middle and was very mid. My friend’s iced coffee was diluted. Would recommend if you are wanting a place more for the space rather than the actual food and beverages.

Stopped by to try out their pastries since they looked so good on social media. It was delicious but EXPENSIVE with unclear prices.. coffee as well. (Details below.) Strawberry vanilla croissant was delicious for sure. The half side with cream cheese topping was soggy but inside is still soft and doughy. You get to taste the plain croissant on the other side with nothing on the top which is crispy. But the strawberry is literally the ONE you see on the top. It costed $7ish. The small nitro coffee was ok, on the bitter, dark-roasted side. Normal. The menu said $6 but they charged $6ish. It was not tax cause it was added at the bottom. I didn’t notice until I left.. Almost $15 for two items.

M
Michele Turner

This review is only about the coffee. The pastries looked amazing, but we didn’t try them. If you’re looking for a great cup of coffee/espresso, keep going. We had Americanos that were mostly hot water and ended up tasting like dirty brown water. Super disappointing. Also, the guy doing the order may have been new but he didn’t understand what “half-caff” was. Not a crime, just unusual for NYC.

S

Ordinary tasting Cafe Cappuccino. Cafe Aroma has a multitude of food offerings from breakfast (think waffles, Danishes, pancakes with the works, bagels) to lunch (sandwiches & burgers). A variety of coffee drinks, both hot and cold are also here. Not to forget the viral matcha! This is here too in flavors. This little cafe is chock-a-block filled with eats that are eye catching. Plenty of seating is available. Location is ideal for tourists as this is in the Theater District.

M
Moon

the avo toast is pre made and warmed on a grill.. for $15 this is sooo low quality. they didn’t even top it with anything.

B
Ben Manski

Do not go here if you're looking for a good bagel. These are not bagels. I should have listened to the guy on the street who pointed me elsewhere. I nodded my head and I pretended to go in the direction that he sent me (didn't want to offend him). And then I came here. And now I'm regretting it. This is just bread.

G
Gregg Grossman

it’s ok but there’s got to be 20+ coffee spots with 2 blocks so it’s fine - you can do better if the vibe doesn’t work for you.

The food was delicious- the staff however, so rude! We ordered 2 açaí bowls, fruit waffles, egg and cheese croissant, and oatmeal/fruit bowl and 5 drinks- it was a bit over $100. My niece grabbed my açaí bowl when they called my number. Employee then told her she grabbed the wrong one so she couldn’t get hers. I explained no, it was mine and we ordered her one as well. She continued to tell my niece she wasn’t giving her one since she took mine. I finally grabbed my receipt and showed her I ALSO ordered and paid for an açaí bowl. She then made my nieces. After several minutes and orders called my daughter was still missing a drink. I went to ask for it and showed the receipt again. The cashier told the gal (same one from before) who then proceeded to look over my receipt again and look over at my table. Finally she made the drink. I don’t appreciate after spending over $100 to have several insinuations that we didn’t order/pay for food.

J
James Martenson

I ordered pancakes, eggs, bacon and hash browns. It was served on a paper plate, 9 inches in diameter, with two pancakes piled on top of, and completely covering the eggs, bacon and hash browns. I was given a flimsy plastic fork and knife that were completely inadequate to the task. My wife ordered a pastry, which she said was excellent. This is probably a good place for coffee, pastries and sandwiches, but I do not recommend ordering anything that requires eating utensils.

B
Billie Dion

Served us this nitro cold brew. We asked them to add more coffee rather than foam. They said “no, that’s how nitro is”. Not when it’s poured correctly friends…

D
Diana Rivera

The atmosphere is nice. However, the food quality is terrible for the price they charge. The prices on the board are in correct. Quick example: a breakfast sandwich is priced I believe at $7 but they add $3 extra for bacon even cheese is $1.50 extra which, our sandwich didn’t even have it. The French toast didn’t even include any fruit which was a shock to me!! We wasted $76 dollars for two sandwiches, French toast a small açaí bowl, water and a matcha.

K
Kelci Franco

All I can say is I do not recommend. Came here for a quick breakfast and all our orders were messed up and missing food. Coffee was made so poorly that it went straight to the garbage. Save your money and time.

S
Samar Irani

I had a very disappointing experience at this café. First, it took quite a while before anyone came to attend me. When the server finally approached, I tried to kindly help her by moving a tray out of the way, and instead of appreciating the gesture, she seemed offended. Later, I politely asked what filling a donut had, and she responded that they didn’t have donuts — only to later clarify that it was actually a cronut. From that point on, her attitude became noticeably rude and dismissive. As a customer, I always try to be respectful and kind, so it was very uncomfortable to be treated in such a condescending way. Unfortunately, due to the lack of basic customer service and respect, I cannot recommend this café. I asked her name and she didn’t wanted to give it to me so I can tell the GM
