Yes! Of course, a Valentine’s cake at L'ami Pier !!! This is an absolutely brilliant, genius cafe in New York, Manhattan 🗽❤️ It’s my most favorite place!!! Every single time, both my husband and I each of us individually getting huge pleasure from coming here... The staff is amazing: cheerful, kind, and warm, right up to the very last customer before closing every time! I’m in love with the energy of this place. And I truly consider it the best cafe in New York out of all the experiences we’ve had during our 3 years of living here.
If you’re pining for a taste of France, this is a place to bite into a freshly baked pain au chocolat or pain au raisin with a delicious coffee confection or jus d’orange. I had the white peppermint mocha (not very French but oh quite délicieux) and Husband had the flat white. Both were top notch. Atmosphere is nice and reminds me of the food places in La Défense. Modern lighting and displays with hip music going. I’d go again.

Great spot for a quick bite. The sandwiches can be served warm and everything was quick and delicious. What a great spot. I hope you’re fortunate enough to be there when pastries are warm out of the oven. Yum.
Last Saturday, we had the chance to visit this place, which we had already heard great reviews about, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The café is beautiful, and both the coffee and desserts were delicious. We were helped by Fernanda, who was incredibly kind and respectful and made us feel right at home. I went with my mom, and the fact that Fernanda could speak Spanish with her truly made her day, something we really appreciated. It was a very special experience, and we will definitely be coming back.

Whenever I’m in the States, I miss France. L’Ami Pierre is the only place that makes New York feel like home. (They also have amazing bags. I went shopping after and filled it to the max, and no tear!) It’s a MUST go :)
Hands down the best latte I had while in the city. I had their oatmilk pumpkin spice latte and it was not too sweet and a good amount of foam. I also had a croissant breakfast sandwich which was tasty. Staff was nice and the wait for the food was not too long.
Stopped with Gabe, my special needs ward (he is deaf mute visually impaired and has the mind of a 6 to 8 year old), for breakfast and we were sitting at the high tops, he chose that over a table, and I guess he leaned or something but went over backwards. The people here, amazing responses, between staff and customers alike, almost everyone jumped up to help him up and check on him. One man basically lifted him after Gabe said yes please while I was trying to hold his hand to lift him and wouldn't have made it without the help. One of the employees quickly offered to replace his food that hit the floor and did just that. We got him seated at a short table and a few folks come to ask if he was OK and were concerned. He is saying he's perfectly fine, but put me through a huge scare watching him fall, but the people of New York aren't as bad as media tries to make them out to be. I felt love and compassion and concern all around us. Top notch establishment as well for their fast assistance.
L’Ami Pierre is exactly the kind of fast-casual spot I look for near Times Square—clean, bright, and stocked with the essentials. The setup feels efficient without being sterile, and everything is laid out so you can get in, pick your favorites, and head back out into the city. I grabbed an almond croissant to go, and it was surprisingly delicate for a place that moves this fast—flaky layers, just the right sweetness, and still warm when I opened the bag. Their menu covers all the bases, from fresh Caesar salads to daily sandwiches, so it’s easy to mix healthy options with a quick treat. Service was quick and friendly, the space looked spotless, and despite the rush outside, it felt calm inside. For a reliable bite steps from the chaos of Times Square, L’Ami Pierre delivers.

Mouthwatering array of incredible pastries. The quiche was buttery and delicious. The Paris-brest pastry with praline cream was delightful.
Fantastic French bakery in the heart of NYC! We went here back in Jan 2025 before a trip to the MOMA on our last day in the city and it was a really great spot. Not cheap (like most places in NYC) but the patisserie was very authentically French, as good as I’ve had in Paris and French bakeries in London. I got the turkey and Swiss cheese savoury croissant and a pain au raisin and both were delicious. Super flakey and freshly baked. For ☕️ I then tried the not so French s’more latte which was also really tasty (very sweet and the marshmallow on top was 🤤). Whilst I was sad to have only discovered this on the last day it was probably a good thing as I had lots of places I wanted to try elsewhere.
It’s been a long time since I’ve had a good coffee time, and this shop reminded me of the scents and delights of my homeland, went on a trip to New York and found this gem, absolutely amazing. Will definitely recommend it
I needed a place for a quick bite with a friend. Surprisingly, all bakeries/cafes in the area are closing at 5-6 pm. This one is open till 7 pm. Yeah! They didn't have many choices this late, but enough to choose from. I got lemon merengue tart and my friend got a quiche. Both were good. I would prefer the pastry base to be a little bit more thinner in lemon merengue tart, but that's not critical We enjoyed our time. The space is not crowded, enough sitting. I will definitely come here again when in the area.

A great selection of French delicacies. The most perfect croissant and baguette I’ve found in the city. The sandwiches are overstuffed and the soups are delicious. The quiches and deserts are delicious. I’m sure I left something out, but you get the point. And finally the staff is incredible.
My favorite cafe in New York City! Fantastic coffee, delicious house-made pastries & outstanding service. Perfect for a quick bite, lunch meeting or place to work. A true Parisian gem in Manhattan I can't recommend enough!
I found the perfect place for a slow morning near Times Square. This cafe is a true gem. I loved sipping hot soup on a winter morning while watching the city go by from the window. Their eclairs and croissants are also excellent. Want a good breakfast with that classic, fast-paced New York hustle? This is it.
I'm glad I discovered this spot and shall definitely return! My Caffè latte and sandwich were v good, the latter reminiscent of the baguettes jambon i used to enjoy in Paris, though a bit on the salty side. I also ordered a beignet which was less good, alas. Service is also excellent
Service was excellent, lines might look long but moves pretty fast , so don’t let that hold you back from entering . The pasties are delicious ! The coffee is good however I wouldn’t rate it as one of my NY 1 coffees, but still good
They didn’t have any baguette sandwiches. My mocha latte was delicious though.
French fast food. Drip coffee was good with a shot of espresso, otherwise not much taste. Real mugs and cups to stay, thank you. Croissants looked good, but were not delicious. Nicely flaky, but almost underbaked inside and the taste made me wonder about the butter(?) they use. OK ham and cheese baguette (the bread part a bit underwhelming). Plenty of seating, also some outside.
I was really excited about this spot, but as soon as I bit into my almond croissant I was disappointed. The staff were not welcoming and my croissant wasn’t baked properly on the inside. The matcha and ham croissant were meh, I’d try somewhere else if I was you.
