Flower's Cafe New York Reviews
One of the best cafes in NYC! I always have a great experience ordering my food from here and the owner of this cafe is super friendly! Great place to get food and drinks.
Recently discovered this place and I am very happy I did. The staff is SUPER friendly and they have an amazing menu. Some of my favorites are the avocado toast (definitely recommend with the 7 grain bread) and their custom smoothies!
The menu boasts a range of delectable treats, from fluffy Pancakes to hearty sandwiches made with locally sourced ingredients. I opted for their signature sandwich Be My Beef paired with fresh and fluffy pancakes, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. And the coffee was rich and smooth, perfectly complementing my BRUNCH
Friendly owner and staff, delicious food, calm vibes, plenty of outdoor seating and 2-4 stools indoors. The Funky (pictured on left) and Be My Beef (pictured on right), both very flavorful and filling. Refreshing green tea lemonade is made in house (it’s not originally sweet but they made it sweeter per my request) ++ Love all the halal stickers:) definitely a recommend, alhamdulillah
Real graffiti writers used old parked trains and abandoned buildings factories but once communities began developing we chilled out and gave our communities the chance to grow. There are thousands of businesses owners who would pay you for your art! Don’t give graffiti a bad name. Most of you wouldn’t be walking around in the 70’s 80’s 90’ through early 2000’s cuz you’re growing up now and most of us are raising families now. The two guys who disrespected this business go back and paint his property! Don’t be that guy who gave graffiti a bad rap! ***Contact business owners who would give you cash and entire walls in their business for your work***
On Friday morning, this place was bustling with people coming and going, enjoying food, drinks, and lively conversation. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many happy people in NYC! The friendly staff added to the positive experience, serving delicious food in a great atmosphere. I intended to stay longer, but the exuberant laughter of New Yorkers became quite loud. I would definitely return on a quieter day, avoiding Fridays and weekends.
Beautiful ambience!! We got the Hippie Turkey sandwich (turkey, melted Brie, cranberry sauce and honey mustard) and it’s the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors on delicious multigrain bread. The business has unfortunately been receiving negative reviews following a recent graffiti incident and for publicly being pro-Palestine. If you can, do come and show your support! The owner is kind and hardworking. Note: everything on the menu is Halal!
I heard about this fully halal cafe online and had to give it a visit. Best sandwiches in nyc, with a variety of meats ranging from chicken, tuna, turkey, bacon and some banger coffee to go with it and vegan options. The hospitality was off the charts and the aesthetic outdoor seating made my experience at this cafe amazing but most importantly the food was amazing and filling. I will definitely recommend this place to a friend and if you are ever in the neighborhood or just want to visit a halal cafe, Flowers cafe is the one! 💯
This place is so good!! The food taste excellent. It is earth friendly. To the right crispy as well as being warm and squishy in the inside, just melts in your mouth. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. Just go and taste it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. A very local place so if you’re supporting local, please go here. Also a very sincere requirement. They explain everything on the menu and help you select the best food that you want. It is very cheap compared to many other places..
I recently ordered the HippieTurkey sandwich and was disappointed by the meat-to-bread ratio. The person who took my order informed me that only 2 ounces of turkey would be used, and indeed, the sandwich contained a meager amount of meat. This small portion in a wedge or hero is unappealing and does not justify the cost. While I understand the need for profitability, such a scant serving will not entice me to return. It's unfortunate, as the shop's previous owner used to serve generously stuffed sandwiches, which kept me coming back as an eager customer. C’est la vie.
The breakfast food was not particularly delicious. Both the omelet, toast, and breakfast burrito were quite bland. It’s not particularly fast, the tables only seat two people, and everything is served to go. That said, I like the outdoor parklet here, and it wasn’t expensive. Maybe the lunch is better.
Never been so disappointed and disgusted at any establishment, walked in and asked to charge my phone in order to pay for a water as well as order food. After getting my phone back the staff started ignoring me and when I asked to pay for my water and order he went around the counter took the water out of my hand and said “I’m not here to charge your phone I’m working”. As someone who works in hospitality as well I would never treat a customer nor anyone with such disrespect. It’s unfortunate because it’s seems like such a wonderful spot yet is being ruined by uneducated/untrained staff. Not to mention it seems like they are violating numerous health codes and should definitely be inspected. Do not recommend unless you would like to be treated poorly (delivery seems like the best option at this cafe) Wasn’t even able to try the food as a customer willing to pay.
I’m not sure how they have high rating. It’s my third time ordering from here and I’ve noticed they’re very stingy with their meat. I ordered a sandwich. I literally got one or two slice of turkey. It’s not the first time I got literally one slice. Worst sandwich I’ve had. Look at the photo. It’s all bread. Such a waste of money. Never ordering from here again. And I ordered from Uber eats. If you plan to order from Uber eats, don’t. They’ll give you less than what you’re paying for.
Well, we ordered 2 omelets, received sandwiches. I called and expressed we didn’t receive what we ordered. The gentleman said, they are omelets, we just made them into sandwiches. I said, but we ordered rye, these are buns and why would you do that? I’m gluten free and only ordered the toast to give to my daughter. It comes with the omelet. So why not? He then got frustrated with me and said, fine we will remake your omelets and send it to you. His reaction made me feel like; I’ll have a refund instead and not order from here again. Bummer, you guys could have said sorry and made it right. Mistakes happen, but intentionally changing omelets to sandwich’s. 🤷🏻♀️ I recommend giving people what they ordered and not change it because you feel like it?! Strange behavior. 🧐 As I’m writing this, my kids said it wasn’t that great either. Maybe it’s just a bad day for them as they have good reviews. We are walking to Little Canal instead. Hope Flowers turns it around!
