Follia New York Reviews
We had a panic when we had a last minute dinner for family and friends during the holidays. We needed a place for 15 people with only 2 days notice that had a varied enough menu to please everyone. Follia delivered spectacularly. The food outstanding and quite yummy. There was enough variety that everyone in our big party were satisfied. The meatballs, the mushroom pizza and calamari were all standouts. We ordered them 3 or 4 times throughout the night. Our servers were all super helpful, friendly and Accommodating of our every need. It was a fun evening with many different parties and we very much enjoyed our evening. We highly recommend and we’ll be back.
I don't get the opportunity to fine dine out very often, so when I do, I really appreciate it when everything is beyond expectations. My evening at Follia was well beyond my expectations. A high school buddy was in town for a memorial, so it was good opportunity to catch up over dinner. We were warmly greeted by our host and directed to our table. Our server, Angelique, was so gregarious and personable with us. We started with a couple of cocktails while we looked at the menu. I had forgotten my glasses but our server came to my rescue and vividly explained each dish I asked about and we went with her recommendations on all of our courses . She was absolutely correct on everything. We really loved the tuna tartare and risotto for the table. Plus the Branzino and wine pairing I had was outstanding. Everything was top notch, the food, the ambience, and especially the service. For example, when I inquired about the location of the restroom, I was escorted almost all the way there. I can't wait until another excuse to go back there again with more friends and family along.
Margaux had great service and the food was amazing! I had the Salt and Pepper Ribs along with the Pappardelle and it was so good! I also had the “make your own drink” and it was phenomenal! 10/10 highly recommend!
@follianyc is a classic italian restaurant located in east village. They also have a bottomless brunch deal that includes 1 entrée and unlimited brunch cocktails for 90 minutes ($32). Aside from bottomless brunch, we noticed that the prices of each of the food items were cheaper compared to many places in the city! ft: -brioche french toast: this was our favorite! it had the best fluffy texture, and the bananas on top were a great match. delicious. -eggs benedict: eggs were runny and the english muffin was toasted correctly. i loved it! -cobb salad: the first thing i noticed is that the dressing added the perfect amount of extra flavor and didn't go overboard. i loved the combination of ingredients in the salad. -crostini: came with 3: 1) burrata, olive oil and salt 2) whipped ricotta pesto 3)mascarpone and clover honey. each were slightly different from each other, and all tasted amazingly. i definitely liked the mascarpone and clover honey. it's such a simply dish yet so delicious. 📍Follia 179 3rd Ave, New York, NY 10003 follow @rebeccatakesnyc for more nyc content!
A reliable anchor restaurant in the neighborhood, good atmosphere for eat in or a satisfying meal via delivery. Wood fired pizza is always delicious and beet salad or roasted cauliflower sides are ideal for rounding out a meal. Fair prices and fresh ingredients too. I'm a happy repeat customer.

Hosted my baby shower at Follia over the weekend in the private wine cellar - could not recommend it enough. Beautiful intimate space, food was delicious and the service was incredible. Dana was great coordinating the event, and Nellie who was taking care of us during was amazing!!! Highly recommend celebrating your special event here
Solid Italian eatery. Really nice pasta dishes. Tasty cocktails. A very warm and inviting atmosphere.
Bottomless brunch here was fun, the personal pizzas were especially tasty!! They might benefit from a bit more variety with the bottomless drink options - when we went, offerings were limited to mimosas, bellinis, and bloody marys. The 90-minute time limit starts when you order the first round of drinks. But honestly you can't get better in NYC for the price! Service was prompt, bathrooms were clean, and they accommodate large parties. To my surprise, they managed to make avocado toast into a whole meal since it came with 2 eggs and a side salad. And by the way, the truffle fries were AHmazing!! Overall a good location and experience!
Pretty great brunch spot! The food was spectacular, especially the Hanger Steak, the Prosciutto pizza, and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes! The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because it was super super hot inside the restaurant and there were just a few times when our bottomless took a while to refill, but it was a busy Sunday morning so that’s understandable. Our waiter was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu!
Came for a dinner and the staff was friendly and fairly quick. The food was mediocre. The ambient was cozy and the food presentation good.
The food is SO GOOD. But the service consistently is terrible. Management needs to train and MANAGE the restaurant better. I keep coming back over and over because the pizza and the cacio de pepe and the spaghetti del Follia is so very good, but I know now to wait 10 minutes for a server to come to me, then I have to ask, then to order everything all at once because that is the last time I will see them again. Even at the bar. It really just hurts them. I would keep ordering more if I was checked in on more frequently.
Pretty sure my credit card got skimmed here, had one (1) glass of wine and paparadelle that tasted like chef boyardee out the can and it was $50. My server was nice though and it is cute overall.
God. What a shame. Black duct tape on the entrance door really set the tone for a horrible evening. Depressing salad portion with no dressing. Oily pasta. Horribly awkward service from what seemed to be a consistent stream of untrained young adults. Nail in the coffin was witnessing commit a MAJOR doh violation while using the rest room. Would pay not to come back
