L'encanto de Lola 2 New York Reviews
I had a shrimp burrito and it was filling and delicious. The guacamole and chips were great and the El Jefe was amazing. Giovanni and the other staff on hand at the time (4:20pm) were very nice!
Been here multiple occasions and always leave happy and very full. I especially love the fajitas, guacamole, and margaritas. The atmosphere, music, and staff will put you in a good mood.
El Encanto De Lola 2 creates impressive culinary creations. This place met the standard it set. Workers maintain service that genuinely impresses. Just incredible flavors throughout the meal. I need to include this place in my routine.
I was visiting from England 29th September in the late afternoon/early evening. The manager was excellent and greeted me warmly. She recommended their Margarita- it was really nice and wonderfully potent! I had their Tacos which were delicious and were generous in terms of quantity. She was very hospitable and her customer service skills were spot on. I can’t remember her name. The other waiting staff were nice too (the guys). The one that too my payment was less so actually and in my opinion let the side down. Mind you, I have since recommended the restaurant and I would definitely go again.
I stopped here on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and ate outdoors. What a wonderful treat! The waiter was very attentive and asked me several times if i needed anything. I had the chicken quesadilla, guacamole & chips and a passionfruit margarita. It was all delicious! I will definitely be back!👍🏾👍🏾
I love coming to this place. This is my spot to end a long work week and to enjoy the area. In sunny weather I love sitting outside and enjoying my meal. The vibe is inviting. It's a great spot for some after work drinks and appetizers or to simply hang out with friends. The staff is very friendly and the large margaritas are huge. The calamari is fried perfectly and I enjoy their salad in a taco bowl.
Incredible and most generous place to its patrons and community! I'll explain... Their host is very friendly, attentive, patient and not pushy. He's a perfect 10! Their Mexican food options are all organically, traditional Mexican plates! Including their Coca-Cola that's imported from Mexico! Real cane sugar! They allow non patrons to use their bathroom that I find to be incredible in today's social economic conditions. It's demonstrates that they are humane and genuinely, a great business model! Bravo! Evidence shows that I destroyed my meal!!! 😂
Where do I start... this restaurant is excellent. The menu has so many selections of entries. The waiter and manager checked on you frequently. The service was superb. My friend and I sat outside but what made this different, you have your own cubicle to enjoy your food and privacy. That was our first time seeing that. I just loved the idea. The food was delicious. Must try their green rice, yummy. The shrimps and salmon were made to perfection. I would definitely return to this establishment. You won't be disappointed.
Love this place. Oh and the drinks are fire. Like they do not spare the the spirits. Their pork chops if you are into pork is phenomenal. They have a couple of dishes that are really good. Don't get the fondue though it's great when it first comes out but let it sit and forgetabboutit. Over all it is a great spot with great vibes and great customer service. And again drinks are on point I'm not a big drinker so 1 had me feeling but two had me needing a walk before I could drive home. Oh and the have happy hour $12 Texas size drinks (if you know BBQ you'll know what I mean 🤭). Anyway go you will not regret it.
The food, service, and atmosphere were great (4 stars all around) until the end. We sat inside, and all of the staff were attentive. Then the trash truck pulled up. Apparently, the trash company only sent one person on the truck to remove the patio debris. SO! Two staff members went outside to help. Unfortunately, one of them was our waiter. He came back inside before the truck was finished. He came to get our credit card WITHOUT washing his hands. After giving the bar manager our card and doing some things at the bar (running checks?), he went to the kitchen area and brought chips to the table next to us. THAT was when the 4 stars became three.
So as soon as we walked in we wanted happy hour drinks. We were initially told we couldn't get that if we didn't sit at the bar. Once the waiter saw there was no room he told us he'd still give it to us and we sat at a reg table. The place is really cute and festive but kinda small once u look around. We had guacamole with chips and salsa while we waited for our food. The guac was very delicious. Bae was hungry hungry so he ordered fish tacos and steak chicken and shrimp fajitas I had the shrimp chimmichunga. The fish tacos were great but had beets in them not really a fan Soo that be my only complaint but all in all the food was pretty good. We got our bill and was floored. $165 for everything. While the food and drinks were good I def don't think they were $165 good! Happy hour there was a joke. I guess the guy realized because he brought over shots of tequila before we left. But all in all I guess I'd recommend trying them I probably won't be back though.
The food was definitely good but parts of the service and the inconsistency between what is displayed on the menu and our bill will not likely result in another visit. We were a party of two and my bf ordered a Michelada while I was still deciding what I wanted. After about 10 minutes we asked about the michelada's whereabouts and workers told us they would "check with the bartender" but did not come back with the drink even after they took the rest of our food and drink order. It was only after about 15 more minutes had passed and the same question brought up 3 more times that we were informed they were looking for the beer that goes with the drink. It would have been much more helpful and well received if someone had simply said "we don't have this specific beer but can replace it with another if you'd like". As far as the bill goes, there is a note that parties of 4 or less have 18% auto gratuity and parties of 5 or more have 20%. Our bill came with the 20% instead of 18% and when I asked, I was told the computer just automatically does that when they print the receipt. Shame on management for not updating their systems to reflect what is displayed on the menu. You are subjecting your employees to awkard, unnecessary situations and creating distrust with customers. Either update the menu, your computer system, or have your employees give a verbal notation of the ACTUAL auto gratuity. Our server was well meaning and nice but these are avoidable and fixable issues with communication and displaying correct information. If you don't care about these issues yourself and would just like to enjoy some food, feel free to go here! The experience might leave a bad taste in your mouth but the food won't.
