MomenTea Kitchen New York Reviews
I’m a student from Brooklyn Law School, and this is my first time hearing about MomenTea since their locations are in Manhattan, not Brooklyn. They did an amazing job with catering, everything was fresh and delicious, and everyone enjoyed the food. I was especially impressed that they could accommodate gluten-free, nut allergies, and seafood allergies. Great service and attention to detail !
We stopped by to pick up our catering order for a group of CUNY students, and everything was great! The noodles and fried rice were flavorful and satisfying, and the shrimp tempura rolls were a hit. Fresh, well-packed, and perfect for a group meal

This gem offers a unique blend of traditional and modern tea experiences that truly sets it apart. ### Atmosphere The moment you step inside Momen Tea, you're greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance. Their signature bubble tea is a must-try, bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced sweetness. I also highly recommend their matcha latte, which is rich and creamy, showcasing the quality of their ingredients. ### Food Pairings The food menu complements the tea selection beautifully. The light bites, such as the jasmine-infused dumplings and the matcha pancakes, are delicious and beautifully presented. Each dish is crafted with care, and the flavors are simply outstanding. ### Service The staff at Momen Tea are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their offerings. I love the malatang and potato wide noodles here, a must go for ppl working at times sq area. The chicken noodle soup was also out of expectation! Chicken was tender and flavorful, soup was absolutely delicious. Plus point for the affordable price, generous portion, and tasty authentic Chinese options. I will 100% recommend!
We came in and ordered online from the QR code on the table. Minus one star because the food took a while, with no communication from the staff that could see us sitting and waiting. I had to get up to ask after more than 20 mins, at which point they gave us our drinks and said the rest would be ready in a little while. Not a big deal, but not the best service. When the food did arrive, though, everything that was supposed to be hot was piping hot. Everything cold was nice and fresh. The pan-fried pork dumplings were so good - the perfect texture and taste for the filling, perfect cook and texture for the wrappings, and the little splash of broth with each bite was so fulfilling. We also got the NY Spicy Stir Fried Noodles with Shrimp - perfectly cooked, and perfectly spiced, but not very seasoned. The dish tasted like there was no salt at all, so even a bit would have made it perfect. 4.5 stars all around, and the Boba tea was icing on the cake.
Solid spot to grab a poke bowl. The ingredients are fresh and the sashimi pieces are big. They’re also very generous with their portion. I ordered online on their website for lunch and got the meal combo for about $17 which included a royal thai iced tea with 2-protein poke bowl. I liked how you don’t have to pay extra for the kani salad and is included as one of your toppings. But I wasn’t a fan of their royal thai iced tea and ended up tossing it. I also didn’t realize how big their menu was so def want to try some of their noodle dishes. There’s also plenty of tables to sit and dine in and the staffs were friendly.
I order here from time to time. They’re not bad if you want something quick and enough bang for your buck. Shrimp tempura and spicy crab roll were good, the dumplings I didn’t like at all, they tasted of pork only and no other aromatics, but they were ok. Love their soup because it’s simple and pretty good. Shrimp tempura were ok but not the best. Overall not my favorite but not bad.
This place is so nasty. I ordered orange beef.. beef hard as rock. I won’t come back again.
Service was disappointing at MomenTea Kitchen. I had to ask multiple times for my dishes, and in the end, customers had to bring the food to their own table. There was basically no service at all, which made the dining experience unpleasant even though the food looked decent. And I even paid tips for it.
