Paquito's New York Reviews
This place is solid we go here all the time and it’s always so fresh, hot and delicious. Make sure to take the extra hot sauce because it’s so good.
This is an amazing place that has been serving delicious burritos and tacos since 1994 I think. They absolutely have THE BEST BURRITOS as far and I know because i have tried quite a few places and none come close to Paquitos. Especially their shrimp burrito. They even serve it with a mean hot sauce. The burritos also include guacamole in the price unlike other places that charge extra for guacamole. The price of their burritos is also slightly cheaper than other places, but the burritos are actually bigger and even come with a small salad on the side. I’ve been a customer here for almost 30 years, and I’ll admit I’m a sloppy eater
Legendary, understated and underrated. Prices more reasonable than similar spots in the area. The quesadillas, chimichangas, everything is just awesome here. I eat here more than anywhere else in East Village. Open since 1994 plz stay open forever
I am from Mexico and absolutely Love this place . I usually order to take out 2 or 3 times a week,, the best Mexican place in East village, Good prices for the generous portions. The kitchen stuff always wears plastic gloves and masks ,Excellent service from the cashier in special the young lady that works at nights. Highly recommend .
We recently catered Paquitos for a party, I have nothing but amazing things to say about the experience. The food was delicious, the guests were so impressed by the flavors! Paquitos was super professional and easy to work with! To say they saved the day is an understatement! Will definitely use again! 1000% recommend!
Local spot with small storefront. Big menu. Food came out really fast. Ordered the steak burrito and it was so delicious. Staff was friendly and I will be going back very soon. Had a lunch special that looked pretty good. Took credit card no problem. Mexican soda was a bit expensive (2.75) but always worth it. Gracias a todos!
Solid and well-priced fajitas. I got the three amigos which was delicious but note that the shrimp are very small
I came here for NYU restaurant week, and I was pleasantly surprised! The food was really cheap because of the discount, and it was also pretty good. I got a chicken taco and nachos, and I definitely preferred the nachos. The taco was fine, but there wasn’t much substance to it. The nachos, however, were pretty loaded. They put a lot of cheese and beans on the nachos, which I appreciated. Considering how packed it was, the service was really on top of everything. If you’re looking for quick, and tasty, food then this is a great place to stop at.
Everything is great except for the receptionist laura. She is really rude and hangs up on you. Very unprofessional! Receptionist is representing the restaurant and is giving them a bad rep. But the food is great!
Really good portion tacos. Decent price. Staff was super friendly which was the best part. Nothing really stood out. Would have wished there was more onions on the tacos so there was more contrast in flavor and textures. The smoked brisket taco was really good and the meat was really tender. Would happily come back.
Food change a lot taste way different than a year ago, I told the counter to seasonings the meat like before but looks like they do kot listen taste simple the same with beans please check the cooker to do a better job
Elder lady said everything is good here. The most mediocre tacos in the EV… tortilla was wet, it barely touched the grill for a little of that Smokey charring and then taken off to pack it up for dine in
Very good food, I recommend the restaurant. But there is a small detail that is very important. I hope you took into account the attention with two people who work there, a tall, robust young man who works on weekends and an elderly lady who works during the week in the mornings. They have a promise and magnitude to serve. It would be worth asking if they want to work or look for a job that is to their liking.
