Plue New York Reviews
Beautifully decorated place with interesting fusion menu full of scrumptious options. We enjoyed everything we tried, and will be back to try more. Also, great options for the everyday happy hour (until 7pm).
I came to Plue specifically for the Thai Southern-Style Crabmeat and it did not disappoint. It’s a rich, vibrant yellow curry with a strong turmeric aroma and a serious kick. The crabmeat was fresh and plentiful, perfectly soaking up that spicy chili sauce. It’s definitely more authentic and "punchy" than your average Thai spot—if you like bold spices and a bit of heat, this is the dish to get.
This place is a GEM. The food is incredible - it's fresh, high quality, flavorful, creative, and beautifully plated. I come from a foodie family of chefs, cooks and hospitality professionals so when I say this is a winner...As much as I would prefer they didn't gain too much hype so the prices stay low and the reservations stay available, they deserve ALL the hype. Congrats Team Plue! P.S. The garlic wings are OMG good.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I absolutely love Plue Thai Restaurant in New York. Today I came with a friend and ordered the Thai steak Khao Soi. The dish came with tender, flavorful steak and perfectly cooked egg noodles in a rich, aromatic curry broth—it was comforting and delicious, and every bite was satisfying. My friend ordered the Pad See Ew, which was also excellent, with great wok flavor and well-balanced seasoning. The food was beautifully presented and full of authentic Thai taste. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for elevated Thai cuisine in NYC. I’ll definitely be coming back again! 🌟🇹🇭
Omg so delicious!!! I’ve never been able to eat anything other than pad thai and curries at Thai restaurants due to my gluten allergy but Plue has such a wide offering for dietary restrictions (specifically gluten free) I was able to try other noodle entrees for the first time in my life and it is so yummy!! The drunken noodles were incredible - both comforting and fresh! I truly am grateful Plue has taken the time to create safe and delicious options for all customers to enjoy 💜 A must visit for everyone!!
I got the chicken red curry lunch special with Tom Yum soup. Soup and main dish with rice were very good. I had the Lucky Chicken Red IPA with my meal. Good tasting beer that went well with the meal and at 5.5% alcoholic content it was a good choice. The waitress had recommended the beer and was very attentive. In all a great place to stop for a great meal at a fair price.
Love this spot! I’ve been here a couple of times and the food is consistently 10/10. Service is friendly and attentive, and everything we’ve tried has been excellent - from the Drunken Noodles to the Red Curry. Plus, it’s conveniently located right off the 103 station, which makes it super easy to get to. Highly recommend!
My partner and I stumbled upon this place after exploring Central Park. We ordered the turnip cake, Khao soi, pad see ew and the seasonal ice cream dessert. Everything was perfectly seasoned. Very impressed with this spot. Only thing to note was that the surrounding area was sus at night.
Seriously amazing in every aspect. Our server was incredibly genuine and made us feel comfortable throughout the entirety of our meal. The restaurant is very accommodating to vegan customers.I never once felt uncomfortable for double-checking that my food was fully vegan, and if our server wasn’t 100% sure, she asked other staff members who were just as kind and helpful. The whole team moved swiftly and had such a great flow together, checking on tables even if it wasn’t “their” table, which made the atmosphere really welcoming. We ordered the Branzino, Tofu Fried Rice, Avocado Summer Roll, and a side of Asparagus from that night’s Specials menu. The tofu rice was perfect — simple flavors, but paired so well with the rest of our meal. The avocado roll was incredible; the peanut sauce had just the right amount of richness, and the roll itself was refreshing, light, and full of flavor without being heavy. The asparagus was cooked to perfection. It was piping hot, tender yet firm, with simple yet amazing seasoning. And finally, the Branzino was absolutely flawless. The skin was crisp and golden, while the flesh was delicate, moist, and buttery, sliding off the fork with ease. Every bite had that perfect contrast of crunch on the outside and melt in your mouth tenderness inside.
Hidden Gem! Amazing Thai Lunch Deal! I stumbled upon PLUE Thai Kitchen and was completely blown away! For just $15, their lunch special includes both an entrée and a complementary appetizer. We had quite a few dishes, check them out on the pictures. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and with authentic Thai flavor and texture. Normal sized portion sizes. Friendly service. Kid-friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, we sat outside — it was perfect. This place is a must. Affordable, delicious, and truly satisfying. PLUE is now officially on my NYC favorites list. Can highly recommend.
A Hidden Thai Gem Worth the Trip – Even from Brooklyn! We stumbled upon this Thai restaurant by pure chance while in the area — and what a discovery! The experience was so amazing that we’re already planning to come back, even if it means commuting an hour from Brooklyn. The menu is outstanding, offering a creative and authentic variety of Thai dishes. Every bite was packed with perfectly balanced flavors — bold, fresh, and deeply satisfying. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we walked in. The ambiance of the place is also worth mentioning: beautifully designed, cozy yet stylish — the kind of spot where you want to linger a little longer. We tried several vegan options, and each dish was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you’re plant-based or not, you’ll be blown away by the quality and taste. Highly recommend — this place is a true culinary gem!
Overall experience was good. I loved the Quinoa salad. So good! Crispy pork and drunken noodles were a bit salty to my tasting but good other than being salty. They were spicy too that’s why you’ll love it more. The glass of Thai tea was served in a big mug. A bit on the pricy side but what to expect, it’s in a good location too and accessible. Space is small but very cozy and ambiance is nice. Food was served fast.
I am writing this review to share my very mid experience here! Lovely atmosphere and was excited to try the lunch special but unfortunately the food was not up to par. I can because of the high review ratings but finding out that was because they give you a free Thai iced tea (hence why I’m here writing this). I’d try a different spot personally. Lovely service though regardless of the food. (:
I ordered the pork belly. Too much fat, but the meat was tender and flavorful. Good portion for one person. I had the unfortunate event of water from the A/C unit against the wall drip inside my plate. Without fuzz I picked up my plate, moved to a nearby table away from the wall, and issue solved. Service was too fast. Didn’t ask me if i wanted anything to drink so honestly i didn’t think about it and just had the water they brought me. After i was halfway through my meal (which arrived warm, not hot), while looking out the windows, i saw a sign for Singha beer, so when the waitress stopped by to check if everything was alright (extra points for that :) I then asked for the beer. The ambiance is very relaxing! Tables are not crowded one on top of the other. They had great instrumental jazz playing over the loudspeakers. The temperature was spot on too. I think i’ll be back and give it a second try.
