Overall good was great specially the crispi fish and salmon very fresh. I won't recommend the Phad Thai. I had tasted better from elsewhere. Service was ok but wait staff too quick to clear your table. Once plate is empty they take it away including napkin you still using Lol.

This was delicious. Will be back. The thai ice tea were elite. Nothing negative to say...other than there were no changing tables in the bathroom.

Very delicious food for a great price. The location feels intimate without being claustrophobic, & the server was very sweet. So many yummy options we took forever choosing (a good thing) but settled on the BangBang Fish & the Seafood Drunk Man. Will be coming back ⭐️

Spice Thai on 13th Street is a standout for both flavor and service! The standout dish was the DrunkMan Noodle, that came loaded with a variety of fresh seafood—shrimp, mussels, and calamari each perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The sauce was a perfect balance of spicy, savory, and aromatic, with just the right kick to it. What really impressed me was how accommodating the restaurant was when I requested a substitution for the ground pork. Since our religion doesn’t permit pork, they happily swapped it out for beef, and the dish was just as delicious. The beef was cooked beautifully and added a rich depth to the flavors. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our meal. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out in the city. I’ll definitely be back for more, especially that seafood pasta👍🏾

Excellent and authentic flavors are the norm here. I often stop between movies at the Union Square Regal preferably during their expansive happy hour where I can get a proper mojito for only $10 and appetizer and soup from underv$20. all-in-all, a hidden gem which I'd walked past for years until, in a whim, I walked in. Now it is a must at least twice a month. I have to say everytime I go here I discover a new dish which only increases the trsuris over the choices the next time. If only all my choices in life were as delicious.

Spice Thai is a good place for food and a quick lunch bite alone or with a friend. The atmosphere is livelier than most so it feels good to dine in. Good deals for the price. Honestly for what you pay… it’s a very good place. For the price, it could be in a much crappier location with a crappier space / vibe. But the location here is prime and the atmosphere / space is nice. I come here because it’s cheaper than many places. Those who complain come from a place of privilege. For the normal people, this place is solid 👍🏼👍🏼

I stumbled upon this gem while looking for a place to grab lunch with my daughter after an afternoon of shopping near by. Wait time was short (less than 3 mins). Food and drinks came out quick. Everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Spicy Thai Fried Rice. Definitely recommend if you love Thai food.

Spice Thai is a great Thai restaurant with delicious Thai food! The restaurant itself was beautifully designed. There are two floors and very high ceiling! The drinks are tasty and strong. I recommend getting the Mango Sticky Rice drink. That was delicious! Highly recommend if you’re around Union Sq!

Nice Thai spot in the East Village. Delicious and authentic Thai Food! I love their curry and Pad Kee Mao a lot! Calamari always comes out really good and Thai Iced tea as well. It gets packed sometimes but it’s worth the wait. Great service as well!

This is a review from my visit in January. The server was very nice, the heaters weren't as strong and since we were seated by the door, we had to keep our jackets on. The appetizers were tasty, but my pineapple and apple pork curry was okay. The fruit flavors were great but I think the pork was a bit overfried in my curry. It would've been better with stew pork or grilled pork. Despite not liking my dish, I'm still giving it 5 stars. I've visited a number of times before this and I was never disappointed.

Didn't plan on stumbling upon this place but I'm glad I did! Pretty concise menu so the freshness of the food was pretty on par with what I expected. Service was good and the place was clean. Its a little tightly packed inside but well worth the price and the quality and speed of the food preparation and service. They are willing to make dietary accommodations and to meet individual needs and requests. Loved it!

I think I have been coming here at least 15 years. The service is always great, the food is served quickly, there is never much of a wait and l appreciate the casual atmosphere. Today we had quite a selection on the table: dumplings, spring rolls, steamed broccoli, Chicken Pad Thai and Drunk Man Noodles with shrimp. The pad-thai was a little on the bland side but the Drunk Man Noodles was unbelievable! It was so well balanced with just a hint of spice, purely delicious. The restaurant is much bigger than you realize since threes is a second floor.

The food was good ( Pad Thai). We didn’t have any issues communicating with the servers, they were nice and asked if we have any food allergies. All in all we had a positive experience and would recommend it.

Good Thai food restaurant for a quick sit down bite alone or with one other person. Lunch portion includes an appetizer. Pad-see-ew was flavorful, but had an interesting mushroom aftertaste, which I was not expecting and wasn't keen on. Loved the prompt service, high ceilings and open atmosphere. Recommended!

een to Spice many times over the years, but I hadn’t visited in about two years. I decided to check it out again last night, and unfortunately, the experience was quite different this time. The service wasn’t the same, and the quality of the food has definitely changed. The drink was okay, but the chicken wings tasted like frozen Costco wings. I also ordered the Pad Thai with chicken but was served salmon instead, something I didn’t realize until midway through my meal. That could’ve been a serious issue if I had an allergy. Overall, it was a disappointing visit compared to what I’ve experienced in the past.

Spice Thai serves up decent flavor but misses the mark on value. My to-go order looked more like a noodle heavy sampler than a full meal for about $18, I expected a portion that actually fills you up. While the presentation leans fancy and the dine-in atmosphere is nice, the portion-to-price ratio just doesn’t match up. On the plus side, service was quick, I got my order in about 10 minutes. Overall, it’s an okay spot if you’re nearby and craving Thai, but not the place to satisfy a big appetite.

This restaurant was honestly a huge disappointment 😕. I found it randomly nearby and saw it was quite crowded, so I decided to give it a try. First of all, the lighting was extremely dim—I could barely see the food, and the staff seemed too busy to even notice the customers. I tried to get their attention multiple times, but no one responded. As for the food 🍝, I ordered their recommended drunk noodles. The presentation was frustrating: the bowl was too hot to touch and placed on a plate in a way that it kept rolling around, making it very uncomfortable to eat. The taste? Nothing special. And the atmosphere? Terrible. I couldn’t believe they were playing a music playlist with ads in between songs 📻—and nobody cared to fix it. Overall, it was a very poor experience. I won’t be coming back and don’t recommend this place ❌.

This location was horrendous. Came with friends just for drinks last night, spent a good $200+ at the bar. Bartender had no idea what he was doing. We had to send back a round because they were horrible and he seemed very confused about anything we ordered. Before they were even supposed to close and we still had our last drink, they were turning off all the lights and loudly dragging chairs and stacking them all around us without saying a word. Not a good experience.

I’m not someone who usually leaves negative reviews or complains. I’m very easygoing, and it’s honestly hard for me not to enjoy my food. That said, the quality of the food here was really bad. The vegetable dumplings were some of the worst I’ve had, which is disappointing because that’s usually a very safe item to order anywhere. I also ordered the glass noodles with salmon. After the first bite, I already knew I couldn’t keep eating it. The dish had very little flavor, if any at all. I even asked my friend to try it to make sure it wasn’t just me, and he could barely taste anything either. I told our server that I didn’t like the dish and asked if they could please take it back. She told me the manager said I had to pay for half of it, or she would have to pay for it herself. That felt very unfair, as the server should never be responsible for covering food that isn’t good. I paid for it because I didn’t want her to get in trouble for something she had no control over. Overall, it was a really poor experience. I left disappointed, and the quality of the food was extremely low. Never coming back :(

****I don't recommend this restaurant. They threaten you to give them a tip. They're a complete failure of humanity. !!!!! This was my first terrible experience in America. I went to a restaurant with a friend because I wanted to try Thai food. The atmosphere was quite dark, and the menu was hard to read, but I didn't have any complaints. My friend made a slight mistake when ordering, and the waiter corrected her. I felt bad to my friend about it, but after we finished our meal, we left a $2 tip. The waiter, a short, blonde Asian woman, complained that the tip she'd deducted from the total was too small. I explained to her that a tip is a token of appreciation and isn't guaranteed. She then said that since we live in America, we should pay 15% to 20%. The waiter was very rude, so I told her, "You're rude!" She said, "You mean rude? We served the food quickly and provided good service, but you lingered and were in the way." I was very, very annoyed, but I left the store determined never to go there again. Her behavior and actions show poor customer service. It's crazy to argue with a customer who hasn't done anything wrong.
