Unregular Pizza New York Reviews
Searching Google for pizza places in this are, Unregular stood out as unique. That's why I wanted to try it. I didn't realize they had no seating - disappointing - but we were only stopping for a quick bite before going to Regal Cinema. I got the 3 mushroom, and a slice of pepperoni. They were both excellent. My wife got a grandma slice. Getting a free drink (3 or more slices) was an unexpected bonus.
The rich texture and fluffy dough, which are different from Joe's, were impressive. Personally, I think comparing two pizzas is like comparing completely different foods. My kids preferred the pizza here. I think I'd love to stop by again the next time I visit New York. Highly recommend!!
The staff was very friendly even when some customers were mean to him. I’m half-Chinese and I saw how the AAPI was treated, and he remained respectful and focused on his job. As AAPI individuals, we often get treated like trash in many spaces, but the fact that he remained calm and respectful was remarkably admirable. I loved the quality of his service. Loved the pizzas too! Five-stars all the way!
This place is wild! I came here with some friends and we had a blast. Not only is the food phenomenal, but the overall atmosphere, music and 80s aesthetic is jazzy as heck. Highly recommend.
I ordered 2 slices of pepperoni and a serving of garlic bites, which is their equivalent of garlic knots. The pizza was quite average, though I appreciate that they didn't skimp out on the sauce or toppings. It lacked flavor, but it wasn't bad. The garlic bites were very tasty and well-seasoned, and they paired perfectly with the marinara sauce. I paid about $16.88 total, which was absolutely not worth it. I live nearby, and there are at least three other pizza places I can name that taste better, cost less, and still use fresh ingredients. I figured I'd give Unregular Pizza a try, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be returning in the future. Their food is simply priced too high for the quality and taste that it provides.
For me personally this was the best pizza I've tried so far in NYC. I liked the fact they had many vegetarian options. We went with veggie festa and Grandma peppina. Both of them were scrumptious. It's mentioned that the dough is well fermented and I could feel that it was light on the gut as well. Highly recommend trying pizza here!
Sweet spot for the adventurous ones! As the name suggests, this is not a place for regular pizza but for inventive flavors and fried spaghetti. Yup… FRIED SPAGHETTI! Quick tip: A ball of burrata is cheaper here than at the grocery store so do yourself a favor and take one home. Staff is really nice. Place is nicely decorated and is perfect for single-slice-stand-up dining. No chairs inside. We recommend the Cacio e Pepe fried noodles.
Delicious. The triangle slice was super crispy, you can hold it parallel to the ground. They had veggie in and vegan squares. The veggie square was full of in taste and filling mm

Awesome pizza, and the chicken vodka brioche is insane! Nutella pizza is a great finish!
After seeing this pop up on TikTok and instagram for years, decided to give it a shot. The garlic bites were made from amazing bread and packed with flavor, but the fried penne vodka was clearly th…
The food is great and I love the ambience! Great vibes and service, especially Rocky. The pepperoni was great and very fresh, definitely recommend.
Delicious pizzas! Great sauces and fresh ingredients, crispy crust but thick slice. We had the margherita, veggie and meat pizzas. Want to try prosciutto burrata next.
Great environment and awesome staff! The pizza hot and looked delicious, if I lived closer it would definitely be a regular spot for me!

So yummy. Would recommend the garlic bites especially. The staff was super nice as well. The pizza boxes are also soo cute.
Amazing pizza! I love the vegan pizza and appreciate all of the variations. The staff is always extremely nice and welcoming.
It's SUPER cute and SUPER friendly with great music. You can have classics or modern takes on NY pizza. If in NYC It's a must try!!
Good food, fast and good price. Good to take away. Place is small but comfy . The grandma peppina is delicious. Gentily staff
Good Pizza styles and Good lunch deal! The location is nice and clean! The service is so quick I will come back for sure!!!
Very good pizza! A variety of choices, a bit expensive but somehow worth it. Staff is friendly, and the Nutella pizza is real good.
1. I haven't had a meatball and sauce this delicious since my Italian grandmother was alive - and I've eaten at all the premium Italian spots in the city - Rao's, Emilio's Ballato, Carbone, Scalina…
Amazing crust, amazing flavors, just a little burnt bud in the right ways. I paid $11.26 for this prime rib pizza including tip.
The pizz options are so unique and although I'm generally not a big fan of the square pizzas, I liked these. They are also very generous with the toppings. The proscuitto burrata was my fav! I do think that the quantity of sauce is a bit much, some bites are just an excess of tomato in your mouth.
It's not a big restaurant where you can sit and eat, but we all liked their pizzas. The lady there explained to the while crowd what pizzas they had there at that time because she realized people were finding it hard to recognize them all, which was nice of her. If you're going with a family with kids, yiull have to do take out, because there's no place to sit. We were 3 people, so we stood and ate there inside the place (they have a small counter to place the food while you stand and eat). I could say with no doubt, the left over re-heated pizza were still good, the next day.
Terrible service-unhelpful staff who act like they are doing you a favor taking your order

A modern take on the square Sicilian pizza. Excellent flavor. Small shop - no seating. Average service. Good value. I had a "Diavolona" - pepperoni, mozzarella, tomato sauce & hot honey, $5.…
Unregular Pizza was tasty when it first opened two years ago. Today my Grand Peppina square was uneven and ordinary. prices shot up recently which makes it expensive. Service was attentive.
This spot is brand new, open less than two weeks and you should go there soon! The pizza is excellent - nice bite to the sauce and the burrata (messy and tasty) is something you don't normally fi…
The pizza variety was great and toppings were plentiful, yet somehow the pizza was still bland. There was almost no cheese and vodka sauce on/in the fired pasta ball. And all the food we bought, they only gave us 1 napkin for 2 people. Which we both put our own order in but paid together, so they knew we were together and would need more than 1 napkin.
The presentation of the pizza was stunning - Perfect for social media influencers. However, the flavors were pretty one note. I was hoping the flavors would be outstanding, but in all honesty, I’ve had more enjoyable slices at $2 slice stores. The pizza and fried pasta was fine, but it wasn’t amazing, as I really hoped it would be after hearing all of the hype. For the price, I was disappointed. Maybe it was an off day? Overall, prettier than it was tasty.
This review is strictly for their vegan slice - there are two options, one that was a margherita and a "veggie fiesta" which was essentially a vegetable pizza. While most vegans do enjoy vegetables…

Feb 19,2026, went to try their Roman-Style pizza since I was in the area prior to attending the Winter Film Festival and to my surprise was not impressed at all. I had like a veg Roman-Style pizza and the sauce was tasteless. Will not be back. The garlic square bread was not properly seasoned .Feb 19,2026, went to try their pizza since I was in the area prior to attending the Winter Film Festival and to my surprise was not impressed at all.
