Spring Lounge New York Reviews
We dropped by this local corner bar for just some drinks after the dinner. The place was quite full, yet we got our drinks fast from the bartender. The music was a little bit too loud for easy talking but I guess it is the way of the bars. It was loaded with happy people discussing and enjoying their time around. I could drop by another time too.
This place is an awesome little dive bar with generous drinks and great vibes. The staff and regulars are incredibly welcoming, making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. It’s the perfect spot to kick back with a cold drink and unwind for a while. The atmosphere reminded me of the classic dive bars you'd find in New Orleans. To top it all off, the bartender even treated me to a drink
My experience at Spring Lounge was wonderful. If I had one criticism, it’s that the bartender was too beautiful and efficient. See , I’m a bartender myself, not a particularly good one, but I get by with my looks and charm. The fact that she was not only prettier than me, but also good at the other aspects of bartending, made me feel a certain way. I got over it though and if you meet Linda please give her all the tips.
Perfect spot for a drink in Soho. Classic American bar, friendly service and a proper pint. We sat by the window and watched the world go by. Would recommend !
Stopped by for a Bloody Mary, left as a new regular. New to the city, was looking for a hangover cure during the day ended leaving at night all because of the incredible atmosphere that the bartenders create here. Natalie, Victor, and Rob make the place feel like home — great drinks, good prices and even better people. Easily a 5-star spot all around. God bless “the shark bar”
This bar is cool. There were some people getting their swerve on (not to the point they were unsafe), and they were a bit obnoxious, but it was hilarious at some point. Seemed like young Aussies. That aside, the bartender Robert made our evening. We had some friendly chat and he was attentive. The drinks were reasonably priced, especially considering the neighborhood. The bouncer was very attentive, making sure everyone was safe. We tried to go back a few days later, but they were packed. I would recommend Spring Lounge to anyone looking for a casual/dive type of place. Thanks for a wonderful night cap. oh, and, SHARKS
This excellent dive bar offers generous pours and lively conversation. Both the staff and patrons are incredibly friendly, ensuring a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It's an outstanding spot to relax with a cold drink and unwind for a while. The atmosphere strongly evokes the classic dive bars of New Orleans. We even received a complimentary drink from the bartender!
This spot is an awesome hidden gem generous drinks, lively chats, and an easygoing crowd. The bartender was so welcoming, they even treated me to a drink! Everyone, from the staff to the regulars, made the place feel warm and inviting. It had a laid-back vibe that instantly reminded me of classic dive bars in New Orleans. If you're looking for a fun, relaxed place to kick back with a cold one, this is it.
Landed on this place after 40,000 steps by midday and was hooked. Barman (Thomas) was impressed by my Guinness drinking capabilities little did he know of my many steps so was just sheer thirst. He asked us to return the next day as it was our final day, locals were super welcoming and we heard some great stories (especially Dave). As I took my last swig of each drink a new one was there to replace it even though it was busy. Will certainly be back next time I visit! Toilets were immaculate and all staff were more than welcoming! Could have parked myself on the bar for a week. Thank you for a highlight of my trip.
I loved this shark themed bar. The service is good. The space is a good size. Sarah and Eric were very nice bartenders. The prices are very reasonable. There were quite a few people already there and it wasn't even 2pm yet. They open at 8am. The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. I would definitely come back.
A staple of NYC. Good beer selection. It's nice to sit outside when it's a good day, or hunker down inside with a beer during a snow storm and watch out the window. The one downside is there's one bathroom and it's kind of gross, but hey it's a dive bar. If you're out bar hopping and going to head to spring use the facilities before you leave the current location and then the place after.
This is a really great dive bar, good pours and good conversation. The staff and patrons are all very friendly people, we had a really good time. This is a super fun place to have a cool beverage and spend a little time. It reminds me a lot of the dive bars in New Orleans. The bar tender even bought me a drink!
OMG Dave and Natalie each need their own show. I was stuck in the area getting my scooter repaired after doing my covid test for set. And I could not imagine being stuck anyplace else. Dave and his timing is #Comedic perfect with a little pinch of David Cross sarcasm. #Natalie reminds me of a white #JackieHarris no minced words and her facial expressions says it all. 1) Now the place does not serve food, but who needs food when you have professional entertainment behind the bar. The bar itself is not really sports bar due to the lack of TVs but check note 1). I hate waiting and had a 3 hour wait but this is one of the few bars I'd go back to. I really hope Dave and Natalie have their dreams come true because you can't teach personality and they are #Stars ⭐ . Not gonna lie I feel like you have to be union to enter, because everyone was funny and it a competition to be the funniest. Just like on #Set . Most fun I had all year 💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️♨️🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Spring Street is a way long ago speakeasy bar that didn't 'Jump the Shark. It is a great place for an early libation where beer is more than a breakfast condiment.
Nice bar with decent music and a good selection of beer. Let down a bit though by men using the women's toilets when someone was in the men's. Hold it in lads!
Spring Lounge was fun! I came late at night, so for me and my friend, it was a laid-back and relaxed vibe. The bartender was super sweet, and I was impressed with their selection of beers and seltzers. It was much better than a lot of the other places I went to while in NYC. I also loved the sharks that they had hanging on the walls, they were so funny! All-in-all, Spring Lounge was a fun and relaxed outing, but I'd love to go back when it's more lively, upbeat, and in the midst of rush hour!
Lots of locals and completely packed inside on a Sunday. Normal NYC prices at $7-8 a beer. Plenty of open outdoor seating but it was fairly cold in early March. I only had one drink and never got to settle in/sit down considering the amount of people. Def worth a visit to experience a neighborhood bar.
Fine but overrated. Cheaper drinks in nicer places, weird crowd in day and insanely crammed at night. But at least it’s got a bustly evening vibe. Drinks meh.
Been here a few times and typically enjoy the lively energy, albeit it can get overly crowded at times. Wont be returning again after I was charged $7 for a small plastic cup of seltzer water out of the soda gun. Bartender said my beer was $5 then charged me $12 total for that plus the small cup of fizzy water. Just a shady move - as someone who’s worked in the industry, thats not how you should treat customers. Particularly those who are respectful and pay in cash…
DO NOT GO HERE!!! I was meeting friends here and walked in first alone and grabbed a drink while I was waiting. The bartender saw I was alone so then my drink was ROOFIED. The last thing I can remember is walking in and getting a drink. Never in my life have I been the way I was last night, I was UNCONSCIOUS and throwing up everywhere…
Went here on Sunday with a group of friends. The three bartenders two women ( one blonde) and another guy around 7.30pm were extremely rude across the board to everyone not just our group. I have been many times before on different days of the week and had no issues. Bad for business with staff like that. The staff that came on later for the night shift had a different attitude and more welcoming. It’s a great bar that I always recommend to people unfortunately that day the staff didn’t give a great experience.
