We were warmly welcomed We were quickly served. I asked for my cappuccino first and it came right away, in a nice large glass, with a beautiful design and whip cream. The food was delicious and fresh and hot, the way we like it. Thank you for making our evening enjoyable. Ben Turk and family.

Had a fantastic visit at Sunflower Cafe. The Israeli panini was excellent, paired with a fresh Israeli salad and mint tea. Loved that the sauces came on the side—very thoughtful. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The sunflower decor brings a bright, uplifting energy to the space. I also really appreciated the very thoughtful application of multiple ceiling sound baffles/dampeners—it keeps the room calm, balanced, and easy to converse in. They were renovating the exterior facade during my visit, which didn’t bother customers at all. Another standout detail: an accessible hand-washing sink outside the restroom—clean, considerate, and well-designed. Great food, mindful design, and excellent service 🌻

This is a cute little kosher spot with pretty good food and the service itself is usually good as well. I'd recommend going here especially if you eat kosher.

The food here is so good,I have eaten here maybe 10 times over the past 5 years and it's always been great, the service is mediocre depending on the server but it's never great, the atmosphere is also just blah but it's not terrible, but the food is that good I don't care,my only real gripe is that's it's WAY overpriced,it's not like say fries and a salad are included everything seems like you have to order it individually making it super expensive, but regardless the food is so good I just have to mention it cos this is a review Right ....Right!!.

Amazing cafe! I was here approximately 14 years ago and had such a great experience that I always wanted to come back. I finally came back and was as impressed as I was years ago! Delicious wholesome food, generous portions, amazing service! I even mentioned an item to the manager that they didn’t carry and a few minutes he brought it to me from another store on the house!!! Very impressive! Will definitely be coming back again!

Sunflower Café is a timeless favorite! They’ve been serving flavorful kosher food with excellent service for over 25 years — and impressively, both the taste and hospitality have remained just as good as day one. At the same time, they’ve kept up with the times. They accept tap-to-pay right at your table and use iPads for their menus, offering a smooth, modern dining experience. Delicious food, consistent quality, and forward-thinking service — that’s what keeps people coming back to Sunflower Café.

Went there today with my wife for a brunch and came away very impressed. The ambiance was hectic but charming and was full of people. The waiters were nice and the food was delivered very timely despite how full it was. Very often when going to restaurants that are old like sunflower the food starts getting worse as time goes on and chef gets lazy, however I can vouch that the food was fresh and delicious, very impressed considering the restaurant is over 20 years and has still not lost there touch. Personally I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks, they came with yummy goey cheese and didn’t harden like most mozzarella sticks! The omelette with Zatar pita was also great, it had a nice blend of acidity from the tomatoes which blended well with the goat cheese topping. Highly recommend and will come back!

Right off the bat, as we walked in the place was full and was bustling which for me is always a good sign when walking into a restaurant, cuz it shows that people love this place. We sat down and the super friendly staff came over right away to make sure we had what ever we wanted, the food came out relatively quickly and tasted delicious over all this was a great experience and would highly recommend !!

Very pricey food but delicious. If you're coming here, do expect a lot taken off for taxes & tips. Staff did a good job but they weren't too friendly. If you're looking for good quality food, & wishing to spend a lot, I do recommend.

When a restaurant's menu leaves you unsure of what to order because you want to order everything, you know they do things right. While it's primarily a brunch place, they do have a full menu and are open as late as 10:30pm on Sundays for dinner. The highlight here, at least for me, are the sandwiches. They come on toasty sesame bread and are loaded with melty cheese, guac, veggies, egg, pesto, or any combination you want. The guac is great, so be sure to get it, either as an appetizer, or as part of the guac salad, or the guac sandwich. Pasta is a good one too, and so is the fish. Lemonanas are this fresh slushy minty lime drink that cannot be replicated. They've got stuffed baked potatoes, soups, and a pretty large wait staff (maybe even too many people for 6pm on a Sunday). This place gives off good vibes, despite the fact that prices seem to have gone up in recent years. You also need to ask for water and bread for the table. It's primarily a Jewish and Israeli crowd, and an Israeli wait staff. Ask for the charif (spicy sauce) and all of the dressings and sauces, they know what they are doing.

The decor is wonderful, the food was average, the service was a bit slow for not so busy venue. And felt a bit socially conservative as many orthodox Jewish / Israeli judgemental people. The waiters pretend to be friendly, and then talk behind your back, sometimes they don’t hide it. Not nice to queer folks. The bathroom was a bit dirty, with papers on the floor.

I’ve always had such wonderful memories at Sunflower as a kid.. recently I took my 3 year old daughter for a lunch date here.. we ordered a Israeli omelette and a jumping Thai salad and an iced coffee..the food was okay nothing special .. came the bill.. $80!!!! I was shocked! I knew they were pricey but $80 for scrambled eggs and a salad ??? They added $14 in tips automatically along with some other fees I wasn’t aware of .. a lunch that felt like $20 max equaled a night out at the Renaissance .. really disappointed ..

Overpriced not worth it they charged me $40 for just a soup that had no flavor. It is not worth it. Do not waste your time honestly

We were very disappointed with our order. The panini arrived completely cold, and the cheese inside was hard instead of melted and flavorful. The small salad that came with it had croutons that were burnt, making it inedible. We would appreciate if this could be addressed, as we were unable to enjoy the meal.
