We got a couple of lunch specials and its my favorite sushi place in Washington Heights
Me and a kosher keeping friend got hit by a car on the way here, we’re okay. Got over the shock over fries and sushi. Really good food, service and staff.
The sushi was fresh, delicious and presented beautifully. I will definitely order again.

The staff was amazing and sushi is delicious! They helped accommodate my party and had everything prepared before everyone got there! They even ordered a birthday cake for us! The sushi and fries were so delicious! We highly recommend!

I put on a little to much soy sauce and it ruined it

I thought I would try a new place for poke. I will not be ordering from here again. The fish was not fresh. I could not eat my order, which was especially disappointing considering the price of the item. The delivery was fast, so it's not as if the order was sitting out in the sun forever before it got to me.
NEVER KNOW WHAT YOUR GONNA GET. I’ve ordered from here a few times they’re incredibly inconsistent. The sushi is always a different size. It’s clear you have two very different sushi chefs because there is only sesame there half the time. (I don’t like sushi without sesame) The last time i ordered from here the sushi smelled terrible, definitely not fresh and I couldn’t get a refund, not gonna order from here again. Ps what kind of sushi spot charges $10 on a basic roll doesn’t provide/offer wasabi and ginger?? Save ur money.
They say they’re open, cool. So you walk there and the gates are down, lights are off. Okay…why are we stating that we’re open but we’re actually closed? I will give anyone five dollars if they can answer this. Other times, you walk in even though they clearly state closing at 9. Cool, right? WRONG. I walked in and they were still open, but now they’re closing the sushi bar early. But HEY, the poke bar is still open, the item that I definitely didn’t walk in for. Can someone please explain this phenomenon to me? Perhaps it’s my untimely luck? See what I did there (ha) The lady who manages the store isn’t very… helpful to say the least. Oh… here’s a kicker: I got food poisoning from their “fresh” salmon that totally wasn’t fresh… as my toilet could attest. If you want to conjoin your cheeks to a cold seat, please do not hesitate to go to Sushi Heights. Hey, they were once quite excellent. Especially when they had a very seasoned sushi chef working there. Seems like it all went downhill after he left. Or maybe it was another factor, hard to tell; they’re usually closed, ya know?
I ordered on Uber eats. I got a poke bowl with the "Spicy Salmon" and "Spicy Tuna" option. Typically, spicy tuna and spicy salmon are a different texture than the regular raw salmon and tuna. To me, the texture is everything. When I called to tell the restaurant that I got something I did not expect, I was told that was "my fault" and "not their problem" - terrible customer service. Restaurants will typically refund or replace something when the customer says they cannot eat it. And the confusion was fair given that they did not clarify that their version of "spicy salmon" is just slapping sauce on regular raw salmon. Obviously, it is just a poke bowl not the end of the world, but I was incredibly appalled at the way I was treated which is why I am posting this review. Would not recommend - they clearly do not care about their customers or about having any kind of good reputation.
