The Sunday prime rib roast, was one of the best I’ve had in the city, go on a Sunday early before they sell out, the best local home cooked meal you’ll have. Big portion, spilt one if your not hungry or take home for leftovers. 10/10 Also creamy pint of Guinness and friendly staff.

Classic neighborhood Irish pub. Went for happy hour on a Wednesday and got two rounds of drinks which were both really good. Didn’t try any of the food but definitely will next time. Do yourself a favor and check this place out

I have passed this pub many times and made a mental note to stop in, having read a diary of one of the last inhabitants of the Blaskets. I finally paid a visit today and was not disappointed. First and foremost, there was a photo of Irish Antarctic explorer, Tom Cream, on the wall, as well as a photo of the diarist I had read. One of the owners, Liam, was tending bar as the rest of the crew was out for the annual staff celebration dinner. The pub is clean and inviting and, on this Monday evening, had a diverse group of obvious regulars. The food coming out of the kitchen all looked great and the Everything Salad I ordered was absolutely fresh. It was a completely enjoyable experience.

They just brought back the original Chef here and launched a Sunday Roast with Prime rib and omg it did not disappoint! The gravy ! ask for more, I’d drink it like milk. it’s worth it, lol. Cozy little Irish bar, plenty of seating upstairs and friendly service from an all Irish staff . 10/0

This place is a gem!!! The food is great and you feel like you are taking a beer surrounded by friends and family. For a while you feel like NYC is a small town where everyone knows everyone. It is a magical feeling.

Imagine a neighborhood bar, where you can feel that servers and customers have known each other for some time and care for each other. Add to that an excellent selection of beers on tap. And then think of the best fish and chips you have ever had and make it a bit better, with some fried fish that it is perfectly crunchy outside and so soft inside it disolves in your mouth like tasty foam. That's exactly what The Blasket is. Since I first came to this place about a year ago, it has become my standard for fish and chips, and practically every other place since then is "not as good as The Blasket."

This is the best Irish pub in all of Manhattan. Cozy place with the best Irish service! A real gem of the neighborhood and a great place for everyday. I can't recommend it more.

First review in my life but this place deserve it! The owner was kind and nice to us, he turned off the ac when he saw I was putting my shirt on and always came to check how we was doing. We had cheese quesadillas, hummus and coleslaw salad and everything was absolutely amazing. Price wise it doesn’t seem you are in New York because everything was like 10$ more or less. Beer selection is awesome, you can have a sour beer for 9 bucks which is unbelievable. Great place, highly recommended!

We booked the upstairs room for a private event and could not have been happier. Niall was super easy to work with when planning, and the staff during our event were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, as was the Guinness. Thank you!!!

Great little pub with wonderful service and above average food. I got the sausage rolls and sweet potato fries - both great pairing for a pint of plain! Came in and asked if they’d put the MNF game on and they happily did so!

Very cool bar on the Eastside. It has also an upstairs. Ample space throughout and wonderfully kind bar staff. I would assume it gets busy. You can also have private events upstairs. Looks like a convenient and lovely place to meet or have a gathering. Very clean and unique pictures.

My favorite pub in NYC! Great food, drinks, and service! If you’re dining in, you can’t go wrong with the fish and chips, fish tacos or curry fries - I love them all! The bartenders are super friendly and nice, and will remember you after a few visits (yes, guilty of being a regular)! I love that it has a great neighborhood bar vibe while also welcoming anyone inside! Also the Blasket is known to be one of the best places to grab a Guinness in the city 🍻 The bar is two levels, downstairs is very social and upstairs is great for date night, a more chill evening, or private events! Last reason why I love this place is the live music - Friday’s and Saturday’s come alive when the music is playing! See y’all here, next time!

Comfortable place in a refined Irish bar style. They keep it antique but also updated for 21st century taste. Good beer list and interesting menu with quality bartenders. Not cheap but good happy hour specials.
