Great vibe, feels like you’re in Europe. Sandwiches, pasta, and tiramisu were delicious. Sandwiches are kinda small but make for a great appetizer. Great place for lunch after walking around Central Park or the Met.

Classic upper east side: amazing food, workers with personality; potentially a long wait, and tight quarters. Whaddayagonnado, eh? But it’s a great atmosphere, feels like a different time in here. Humane. Great paninis. Don’t miss the vegetable soup that is special here. Glass of Chardonnay in the middle of the day, yes sir. And dessert was fruit tarts, made with almond flour crust, absolutely delicious. For a deli, it’s very fancy and expensive. But for a special date lunch (pair with a trip to the Frick Collection!) it’s a steal.

I recommend this Italian restaurant , it is excellent; the food is prepared with great care and is delicious, and the tiramisu is amazing. The service is also great and the staff are very patient. The manager's smile is fantastic and he's incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place! (I'm visiting from Canada.)

The pasta was fresh and quick , the bread they brought out to go with the pasta was hot an delicious, my recommendation for my favorite meal would be the bolognese, it was so tender, and the sauce was perfectly cooked melted in your mouth .. my girl friend got spaghetti and I got the bolognese.. I will definitely be returning back to this restaurant to get another plate and maybe even some to travel with as a carry on to come back with me to Florida

A perfect cozy quiet place to have a delicious meal. Tried the Seabass, chicken with pomodoro, and mustard shrimps. Peroni, Menabrea Lager, Pilsner Urquel and Amstel light available as beers, and plenty red/white wine options.

great italian comfort food. a very small place with a homey feel to it. the prosciutto was fresh and the meatballs were juicy and tender. we waited almost an hour for our main pasta dishes though. they were great, but i wish we had waited a little less. the bolognese was definitely the best. the arrabbiata was garlicky and tasty but not spicy at all.

We got the risotto, a salad, and chicken with a lemon white wine sauce- incredible. The sauce on the chicken was absolutely delicious. The service was great and the ambiance is so fun. We sat at the entrance by the sidewalk and it was great. When we were leaving, our server gave us a free little cookie of our choice! Great spot and within short walking distance of the MET.

Via Quadronno is a hidden gem in the heart of the Upper East Side that delivers an authentic slice of Milan right in New York City. From the moment you walk in, the warm, European ambiance sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The staff is attentive and genuinely welcoming, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The food is exceptional—especially the panini, which are perfectly crisped and generously filled with high-quality ingredients. The Prosciutto San Daniele with mozzarella and tomato is a standout, and the cappuccino is rich, smooth, and served with flair. Their pastries and desserts, like the tiramisu and crostata, are indulgent without being overly sweet. Whether you're stopping by for a quick espresso or settling in for a leisurely lunch, Via Quadronno offers a charming escape from the city's hustle. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and the cozy atmosphere makes it ideal for both solo visits and intimate gatherings. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Italian flavors in a relaxed, elegant setting. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again.

The food and service at Via Quadronno are both wonderful :) I went on a Wednesday for an early dinner and was seated immediately. The wait staff were very attentive and kind. The spaghetti carbonara was so good! The waiter asked if I wanted extra cheese halfway through the meal which was great.

Good Italian food. We had the Desiree sandwich with a lemon soda. The sandwich had grilled ham, fontina, and Capers sauce. It was about $16. It was delicious. The portion is just right for a meal. The lemon soda was about $6 and went well with the sandwich. It was ordinary soda. We had black coffee, it was good. Service prompt. The place has preserved its Italian-ness. People love it here and they get many customers l. So the wait time is long. Ours was 30 minutes at around 2 pm.

I recently dined at Via Quadranno and had a really enjoyable experience! Food: The lunch menu was diverse and delicious. I tried the pasta, which was cooked to perfection and paired with a flavorful sauce. Everything was fresh, though I felt some dishes could use a little extra seasoning. Service: The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Our server provided great recommendations and was quick to refill our drinks. Atmosphere: The restaurant has a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for a relaxed lunch. The decor is charming, adding to the overall experience. Overall, I highly recommend Via Quadranno for a delicious meal in a lovely setting. I look forward to returning soon!

Via Quadronno has a lovely European cafe atmosphere that feels authentic and refined — exactly the kind of place you'd hope to find tucked away in the city. The service is warm and attentive, adding to the charm of the experience. The food, however, is where it falls a little short; decent enough but not quite at the level you'd expect from a spot with such a strong reputation and elegant setting. With better execution in the kitchen, Via Quadronno would be an easy five stars.

I stumbled upon Via Quadronno during a stroll on the Upper East Side and It gives total “hidden Italian gem” vibes—small, charming, authentic, and just a few blocks from Central Park. I went for a late breakfast, and the espresso was chef’s kiss. Their paninis are lowkey iconic—I had the Panino Leonardo (prosciutto, brie, and tomato on crispy Italian bread), and it was perfection. The cappuccino is also super rich and smooth, the way Italians do it. The interior is simple but elegant—think classic European café with wood accents, a long marble bar, and little bistro tables. It’s not the place for a laptop day, but perfect for catching up with a friend or sitting solo with a cappuccino and people-watching. ✨ Good to Know: • No reservations, so it gets busy during brunch and lunch hours. • The vibe is romantic and old-school. A nice escape from loud NYC cafés. • Ideal for breakfast, brunch, or a quiet date. • They also have amazing pastries and gelato! Whether you’re in the area or planning a Central Park day, stop by Via Quadronno for a true NYC-meets-Milan moment.

Crowded during lunch hour but yummy food and great service! The meatballs were excellent. Wish we had gotten the penne with the same sauce instead of the rigatoni. The tomato sauce with the meatballs was bright and fresh. Lunch came with little garlic bread crostinis as a surprise. Delicious.

This is one of those very quaint, old restaurants in the the Upper East side of NYC. We ate prosciutto on toasted baguette, had a shot of Espresso, and an apricot cookie. The service was friendly. The sandwiches came out fast and were delicious.

Called for a reservation for 7:45PM and arrived 20 minutes early with no issue! They let us sit wherever we wanted and were attentive as soon as we sat. The food was good, nothing crazy. Big portions and not too greasy. The seasoning itself was different than most Italian restaurants, it tasted like their version of Italian food. The tap water they give tastes awful, I overheard another person complain about their water tasting weird! The gelato and the pecan tart for dessert were delicious, a nice topper for a big pasta meal. Overall can't complain about my experience, atmosphere outside was calm and warm for a Sunday night in the city. Although, it was kinda pricy $$$ considering it wasn't authentic Italian tasting in my opinion, but again, it was still delicious.

A little pricey for a simple toast. Tiramisu was great though!

Be advised if you don’t offer a proper tip you will be asked for more. Couldn’t believe they asked for more than what was given and then threatened to add a service charge that would be even more.. if you’re expecting a certain amount on the bill after my husband and I had a quick lunch there then you should always add the service fee. Good was great, service was good but completely ruined when the server insulted us by asking for more money… ask your boss, I don’t have to tip at all.. it’s a courtesy.
