At Village Crêperie, we're dedicated to serving up authentic French flavors with a New York twist. Our compact counter-serve may be small, but our passion for crepes is anything but. With sweet and savory fillings, plus delicious sandwiches and breakfast bites, there's something for everyone at our cozy East Village spot. We've perfected the art of crepe-making, just like grandma used to make - think thick, fluffy batter wrapped around generous helpings of cheese, ham, and fresh fruit. Our guests rave about our warm atmosphere, where friendly service makes you feel right at home amidst vintage decor and lively chatter.

Village Crêperie New York Reviews
This was a shot in the dark and it ended up being exactly what we needed. The crepe recipe they use it definitely top of the line. Service is personable and relaxed. It’s a relaxing atmosphere. Our server Ayoub was attentive, nice, and delivered us this most delicious crepe. I highly recommend village crepe!
This is my favorite place in the city. Nicest people ever, great coffee and RIDICULOUSLY GOOD matcha, awesome food, and cozy vibes. I will choose this place every time over other cafes in the area.
I love coming here, I am a regular and the food and coffee is consistently great. Love the vibes as well!
My usual go-to spot when working in the area. Like their variety of coffees and seasonal specialties. My favorite sandwich being their chicken Cubano sandwich. The lounge music gives the place a lovely vibe. The staff have been very kind to me. I really like going there.
my bf and i got the breakfast burrito and it was amazing! he got the carrot cake matcha and i got the caramelized banana latte, both delicious. great customer service!
The entire menu delivered on its promises. The team displayed authentic friendliness. Village creperie! You clearly care about your customers. I'm already thinking about what to order next at Village creperie. The atmosphere here is distinctly its own.
Very homey. Loved their croissant and cider. I also had a lady cut in line in front of me but I waited. The result was a nice gesture by the staff, won't say what though!
The meal here achieves what all restaurants should aim for. The restaurant presents a unique visual identity. People working here: exceptional. Careful and competent. The ingredients here are clearly fresh. Village creperie offers a standard of excellence I rarely encounter now.
Mmm, mmm, mmmm sooo delicious!! They’re very nice there. Went there a few times. I always get strawberry, banana, whipped cream crepe that they did a custom order for. Delicious!!!! Today because I’m sick and can’t have sugar I decided to try their spicy Moroccan chicken crepe. It’s beyond delicious!!! Highly recommend!!! Front desk always nice to me!!
Seating is limited inside but people leave quickly and the chairs and table are comfortable to eat and people watch. Service was very accommodating and they even suggested I take my time and that I could take a photo if needed. I ordered a sweet crepe with banana and Nutella— amazing! The matcha latte is equally amazing.
I have been frequenting this lovely little creperie since lockdown- in fact came across it on the way to get my first vax. This has become my go-to for a walkabout with a delicious bite - the proprietor and staff are lovely, and they have a full breakfast menu besides the crepes! - A godsend for me, as they also do gf and vegan - and they just introduced a more robust vegan menu! **Added: Came back with dad for treats - crepes, french toast and coffee. Delicious!! ❤️🙏🏽
Great coffee for a good price! I enjoy their coffee specials and think they’re priced very fairly for being fancy drinks. Pistachio latte was my favorite! Baklava latte was also good. The egg avocado and cheese was delicious! They have cozy outdoor seating, cafe style, that’s so cute. Update: tried the number 1 wrap (egg white, avocado, cheese, and Turkey - so so good! The cream cheese pastries are also fantastic. Fave breakfast spot in east village!
I went to this creperie on a Saturday morning. I was not starving and I wanted something light and sweet before I got my day started. I ordered a lemon and sugar crepe, and after about 11 minutes it came out. It was a 2/10 crepe. It was too thick and the consistency was very chewey - it felt like a weird gyro more than a light and delicate crepe. The final thing that made the crepe disappointing was the lack of any distinct lemon flavor or sweetness. The whole thing tasted like uninspired dough and I threw the rest of it away.
Good in a pinch because they have flexible hours but the quality of ingredients is really poor. It makes sense because they have a very extensive menu, there's no way that everything can be that good. I got a mushroom cheese spinach crepe with added sliced turkey, turkey quality was poor but edible. I will come back here on the rare occasion that I need food at 7 AM in the East Village, but that is the only circumstance. The crepe batter itself is delicious so maybe something with different filling would be good
How this place has 4.8 stars is beyond me. It’s a place that tries to do too much, and does not do anything super well as a result. The breakfast burrito was not impressive - store bought tortilla, eggs didn’t taste fresh, way too much on the onion, etc. Hurt my stomach and lingered in my mouth too long. You could turn their menu into a book. Several vegan options which is a win. Good outdoor seating.
