Yoi Ramen & Tea New York Reviews
I was expecting a small ramen bowl but what I received was a big, tasty bowl with all the toppings one could want and Boba drink. The pork was tender and the noodles were cooked really well. The lunch special is well worth it and this was a happy surprise. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere cause it could be decorated a little better but still a quaint and quiet place to eat, nothing to scoff at.
Cute little ramen shop off of 2nd Ave! Tasty ramen and Gyoza took me back to my travels in Japan. Definitely will be going back again.
I just had lunch here and it was amazing! The food was so delicious—I finished the entire bowl of rice with beef, along with a cup of milk tea from their lunch special. Everything was very clean, and the service was nice, quick and efficient. You must try it!
The most delicious ramen we've ever tried. I was surprised when they brought us the ramen — it looked like it just came out of the menu picture. Highly recommend!
Affordable lunch set with quick service. Portions could be a little bigger, but otherwise no complaints.
Pretty chill spot with great lunch set special from 11am to 3 pm, do note. That the bubble tea options are Green tea, Black tea and Brown Sugar (unless they change it.)
I got the chicken karaage and the avocado tea(sadly didn't take a picture, very aesthetically pleasing though). Both of them were really good and fresh, worth the price👍🏻. Would definitely go again. Store has nice decoration and was very clean.
Really love the cheese foam tea here; it’s become one of my go-to places for cheese foam tea (there aren’t many places to get it around Midtown East). I recommend the four seasons tea. Also tried the ramen too and it was great. Spent the afternoon here and decor is nice/clean. Staff has always been helpful.
The ramen and pork dumplings here are so delicious! I found this place because my favorite ramen place closed but this is definitely my new fav, and it taste just like it! I hope to try more items on the menu the next time I go here.
Excellent ramen and bubble tea. Very small restaurant with limited seating but the food makes up for it. We had ramen with pork and chicken and they were delicious. I had the durian mango drink and my fiance had the creme brulee one. They were fantastic. Will definitely come again if I'm in the area.

I got the lunch special that was around 15$ for an entree and boba. The ramen was not too spicy and flavorful.

Fast counter service ramen and milk tea. The katsu curry bowl was also good and they have a few other Japanese food options as well like gyudon. The lunch special is a good deal since it comes with a full dish and milk tea
I was on a ramen kick for awhile and their R4 (spicy miso ramen) always satisfied my craving. I have also had their brown sugar milk, passionfruit, strawberry and mixed fruit teas. Their mixed fruit tea is by far my favorite. There is nothing fancy about the interior, but don't let that deter you.

Date of visit 10/14/25 Went for lunch during work. It can get very busy. At the time of visit there we're only 2 workers. 1 cooking the ramen and the other guy taking orders and making bubble tea and serving dine in and take out orders. They have a lunch special you can get an entree and a drink for about $16 and change. Not bad considering Manhattan prices. Soup was a bit thick to my liking. Ramen was so so, not super great but not bad either. Good spot for lunch or just a quick place to eat. Inside is clean and there is a restroom for customers. Recommend for lunch during winter especially if you work in the area.
Cozy, family-run ramen & tea shop with a clean, warm, welcoming vibe. The ramen is flavorful, satisfying, and reasonably priced — a true hidden gem in NYC
Had the spicy miso. The broth is nice, it’s not really spicy and they don’t give you too much. I loved that it had 2 eggs. The atmosphere is not really anything just fluorescent lighting

The images draw you in and once the dishes are served, they appear almost exactly as pictured. Unfortunately, the food did not taste as good as it appeared. I am actually quite baffled by how the food’s aroma was appetizing yet so tasteless… The curry chicken katsu don had almost no flavor. The curry definitely could’ve benefited from more seasonings, and the chicken didn’t seem properly marinated. The plain breading didn’t help either, making the blandness even worse. As for the chicken karaage with rice, it was almost inedible. The grilled chicken had an overpowering, gamey chicken flavor that was unpleasant and overly poultry-forward. Grilling alone is not enough to add flavor. Overall, it wasn’t disgusting in comparison to some other spots and the staff were really friendly.
Ordered the tonkatsu ramen (mushroom was slightly bitter), its alright for a quick bite and would recommend getting it during the lunch special hour before 3pm for a cheaper price. Nothing crazy in terms of flavor.
The staff were very nice, but the ramen was just okay. Kind of mediocre flavor, with no sauces or extras around to add, and all the toppings were cold. I just got the classic so maybe that was the issue. My friend got the shoyu and her noodles were better quality.

Quick service, this was ok for a bite before catching a movie across the street. Otherwise, I’d give it a miss. Ramen wasn’t great - lacking in depth. It’s also a bit overpriced for what it is.

This place looks like it caters more for convenience/price, so I did not set high expectations. But it was a lot worse than other “street” ramen/tea places I’ve been in NY. The spicy miso ramen tastes only of sriracha and the corn was definitely from a can. The tea is pretty good but wouldn’t recommend the food.
