El Cuñao Deli Nyack Reviews
Amazing Tacos, the taste the portions all excellent, I usually get full with 4-5 tacos but this time 2 were enough. Highly recommended this place if you are in search for authentic Mexican food
After seeing and hearing so much rave about this place, I knew it was time to see what the hype was all about and I’m so glad we came to El Cuñao. While staying around Nyack I knew we had to stop here as part of our little food tour and exploration around town. After a cold day of walking around and wanting some chill and relax time, we decided to pick up some take out from them to eat at the hotel we were staying at. It was the PERFECT comfort food we needed on a cold day while we watched tv, hung out and relaxed in our room. It was basically that room servicefeeling feel but better haha because the food was INCREDIBLE and fully homemade. When you walk into this little unassuming hotspot, you know someone’s tia, abuela or mom is making some magic in the kitchen. It’s got such a cozy vibe and just feels like you walked into someone’s house and they’re ready to serve up something delicious and homemade. We ordered some soles and huarache with a delicious Jamaica (hibiscus) agua fresca. Everything was WOW but what truly wowed me was that the huarache was stuffed with black beans. It was incredibly delicious! What left us dreaming (til this very moment) is their delicious smokey spicy red sauce that is absolutely out of this world. I’ve never been to Oaxaca but it made me feel like I did - those flavors took me on an unforgettable taste bud journey that made all of the ingredients pop. Bottom line: yes, GO HERE. You’ll eat some of the most delicious simple, unassuming, authentic Mexican eats. It’s casual, chill and delicious!
Wow, wow, wow. A very small place but 5 star service. I go across the bridge to eat at this amazing place. Best tacos and best Mexican food over all. Please visit this small hidden gem. You won’t regret it.
Came in after passing by so many times & saying I’m going to try it. And I completely not going the first time I saw it because wow! Great food made to order. Super flavorful! Can’t wait to try more off of the menu! IG:Alexandra_andco #EatWithAlexandra 🍽️
Great tasting Carne Asada tacos. Huge portions. Good rice and beans. Horchata to complete my feast. Nice little place, very vibrant, and very Mexico.
Some of the best authentic tacos I’ve had. Family owned and operated, you can tell the quality and dedication that they put into their food. Go support them
So good! Everything we ordered was delicious. My husband tried the chicken mole, and I had an al pastor burrito. We also tried the elotes. We opted to dine in, and the staff was kind and took great care of us. We will be returning to try their tacos next.
Delicious, can’t wait to come back!! Loved the shrimp and chicken tacos
Small hole in the wall with great food!! Husband and I came for some Micheladas and ordered some tacos while we sat, and what a great decision! Best carnitas tacos I've had in a long time! Great little place jam packed with flavor!!
The food was delicious. Guacamole with chips super good and Cesadilla tasty! Great atmosphere and music, too!
Excellent homemade real Mexican deliciousness at fair prices. The guacamole is the best in the area. I love this place. It’s not fancy, not romantic but it is F’N awesome food.
The food here is incredible. The chicken mole was so flavorful and the sopes were crispy on the bottom. Best sopes I've ever had. EAT HERE!! You'll be so happy 😊
There tacos and burritos are best Rockland. I lived on Mexico and the food is close to what you can get in Mexico City.
*Beware of the $1 surcharge for non cash transactions. Haven’t been here in more than 3 years. Food is always delicious! 🌮🥖everything! Nice staff. Definitely worth it.
This place is awesome. Great food with very generous portions. Everything was delicious. Tacos mixtos was nice to try and bunch but the al pastor was definitely my favorite. I've never had taco plazero before but I definitely will be ordering it again. One taco plazero is very big and could easily fill up one person. I will definitely be back to try more.

Very good Mexican food
The food was awesome! Guac and chips is awesomely seasoned, maduros is pretty appetizing too, and fish tacos was very filling as well! I’d come here again. Only thing that could use some work is the customer service brought to the table being we were the only ones in there at the time. That is why the 4 star. Customer service is everything, when you go out you expect otherwise I could of made these myself at home. The atmosphere does feel like I am not at home. Otherwise, food is great!
Excellent service. Nice shop. Food was good but the chicken was a little dry. The fish tacos were great. Overall I would recommend it.
Great experience. As we came in we were welcomed by a lovely Senorita. The smell of the food made me more hungrier. I tried the chicken Cascadia 🥰🤞👏🔥. Definitely worth trying after driving pass so much times.
Meh, it was good for what it was. One of the shells were hard and the just wasn't enough flavor. The guy though helping us was really nice tho. That's why I gave the place 2 stars but the food was "meh" at best.
I’ve been coming to this taco place for years. Usually the food is great. I’ve ordered numerous party platters. I came in today on my lunch break and ordered the carne Asada tacos along with some French fries. Let me tell you that was the most saltiest taco I’ve ever tasted. I barely finished 1 taco. Proceeded to let the manager know. He told me he’d “speak to them”. No accommodation. I couldn’t even get my tacos replaced. Mind you I barely touched my plate. Horrible customer service. 20 bucks for a plate of salt! You guys have lost a loyal customer for life! Never will be returning to this restaurant.
Would give minus 0. Had the worse food poisoning. Meat was undercooked . Don't recommend if you want to live
What an arrogant woman! The lady who works there just stopped by to ask something. She didn't tell me if I was going to order anything, looked at me with a sour face, and walked away. She didn't even let me explain, so I just said, "Have a nice day." I'm not speaking for others, it's just that from my experience, when someone is that arrogant in a place, it tells me a lot about the food. It's a good thing I didn't eat anything, thank God.
Bad customer service, the lady is in a bad mood with customers, bad experience, I do not recommend it.
