Great neighborhood style brew pub with pizza joint next door. Seriously friendly and relaxed buzz with some great brews on tap. For me, it's a great place to unwind after work and enjoy a couple of pints on the way home. Hope they experiment further with the dark lagers and add a stout and a true ale... 😀 Oops!! Now with canned-to-order Porter!!

A delightful new brewery to hang out at! The beer is delicious, the staff are friendly and fun to talk to, and best of all you can bring your dog! They love dogs here and will give them treats and pets. There's an outdoor patio area, and usually food! 10/10 great place to hang out.

Nice brewery. Somewhat out in the sticks between Emeryville and West Oakland, but worth the trip. I tried the Blind corner (black lager) and the Wet bulb (double IPA) before settling on the Collapsing Waves (west coast IPA 6.3%). All were very good. Friendly too! (Menus subject to change!)

Stumbled upon this brewery while driving around during a heat wave. When you can drive 20 mi and get 29° cooler temperature, Oakland was an invite destination. The crowd on the Saturday afternoon was especially friendly and they were holding a dog adoption for a local animal shelter. I was with a friend who is not a beer drinker but he enjoyed a nice hard seltzer. I enjoy the maltier spectrum of beers and the Cantankerous Youth was uniquely malty medium bodied with notable rye flavors and very drinkable. I will definitely come back here on another Saturday afternoon. They seem to have food trucks regularly and they have both seating in the warehouse and out on a deck.

Great local brewery, every beer I tried was clean and tasty. My fave was the barrel-aged Blind Spot black lager. I'm usually an ale guy, but seriously, these lagers are spectacular!

Good beer, and nice people. The location is not great, but overall I enjoyed the experience.

Great local addition to the brewery scene in West Oakland, in addition to Ghost Town's main brewery on Adeline St. and recently opened Almanac Brewing in Prescott Food Hall. Former brewmasters from Drake's Brewing, and family run. Great selection of beers if you're looking for variety outside of IPAs. Next door to June's Pizza. Sometimes has a birria taco truck onsite. Plenty of parking and wifi.

Just stopped in here while waiting for a pizza next door and really liked the beers on tap and the staff. Nice to go to bar where the bar staff are super friendly and talkative. Not sure how long this brewery has been around, but hope it does really well.

Brix is making the best beer in the Bay Area right now. Great people, great atmosphere. June's next door makes very good pizza, and you can bring it in to Brix. Recommend highly!!

One the best brewery in Oakland, and that’s a high bar! We tried most of their beers and all were on point. Loved they had many low abv beers that were still interesting and flavorful. Ambiance was great also.

We had a great time at Brix Factory Brewing. Eric was the bartender and he was awesome with good vibes. We were looking to eat at June’s Pizza next door, but it was closed. Eric gave lots of great recs on where to eat instead. Thanks, Eric!!

I was here on a Sunday evening around 5:30p, the place had plenty of business and maybe three parties ahead of me to order, but still plenty of seating. I ordered a flight of their hoppy beers and especially enjoyed the hazy. Prices are great ($10 before tax and tip) , beer was tasty. We had ordered June’s Pizza from next door and were able to enjoy them while at Brix. Highly recommend! I especially appreciated that they refilled the water dispenser as soon as I told them the water was out. Excellent service!

Fantastic brewery with wonderful staff, great beer, and a huge open space that’s perfect for larger groups! I hosted a semi-private event here with 35 people and would gladly do so again. Eric and Kira were super accommodating, easy to communicate with, and very flexible. The range of beer here is diverse, and the crowd is pleasant. Great vibes and genuinely a wonderful experience all around!

Impressed by how many kids were hanging in this brewery! 😄 Definitely a spot for the aging hipster crowd - I'm guilty. Enjoyed the rich Splash Zone stout, and despite an unappealing name the Alvarado St. nonalcoholic Froth Water was refreshing.

Cool new brewery. I especially like the building/overall set up. It's got outdoor seating along with a lot of indoor seating, open space/air. Very spacious. You can bring food from outside, but they generally also have a food truck. Board games are available. Bathrooms are in the same building but you have to go through an extra door to access them. Their in an interesting location, a bit secluded, but they have their own parking lot and it seemed safe enough I thought the beers were just average though, but beer taste is very subjective. They make a nice variety of styles, but their all pretty light and low abv beers. Not my style but they were all drinkable. Beertenders were very friendly and let you sample before committing Overall, cool place to hangout and have beers, but more for the people who prefer light beers
