Great evening and atmosphere. The location allows you to enjoy the evening air with outdoor heating furnaces that add a good vibe. It's like sitting by a campfire but with all the amenities of your living room. Nice drink selections also.

Can't beat a good rooftop bar. The place wasn't crowded so you could have a conversation with your food/drinks. Cocktails were good, albeit a bit sweet for my personal tastes (but not egregiously so). I had the Beautiful Ones Cocktail which had enough complexity to keep me interested. The food was good (its small plates so be prepared to order a couple for dinners). The stand out was the caprese salad, which I'm already excited to go back and get again. Overall a great date spot or just a place to unwind with some friends over some fancy drinks. Servers were all great, and struck a great balance of checking in, but not too often.

I LOVE this place! Not sure why some reviews seemed to have a different experience, maybe it’s just not a place for them. I’ve visited 3 times, i’m always introducing and inviting my friends to check it out and the service/cocktails is incredible. Outside area is a vibe, everyone always mingles and chats with everyone. I could say the food is ok but the service, the drinks and the whole place itself is lovely! I could agree that the outside floor could be cleaner. Had two different servers already, sweet and attentive at all times. Last night, I had a female server who tried her best to make anything and everything perfect for my guest and I. Definitely my weekend go-to! Go check it out yourself, they’re new.

Food came out okay and service was fine. Parking was tough but that's because of where it was in Oakland. I'd come back again for brunch.

The terrace is cute to go at night with friends or a date but I felt it was way overpriced. $17 for a cocktail in Oakland, the Pepsi was super watery (how hard it is to serve a Pepsi?). We also had 3 truffles that were good but could have been served differently. We had no food so I can't comment on that. Overall an interesting place to try one day.

Had a blast dancing with friends. Friendly, capable bar tenders and great atmosphere. Wish there was more house music. Be prepared to pay big bucks for mixed drinks which is why I gave 4 stars. (We didn't eat the food.)

If you're killing time before a show, this is a nice spot to catch some views of uptown Oakland - best at sunset, of course! Cocktails were pretty good, but I was surprised by how stained some of the furniture and flooring was. Not really their fault, but better materials for an outdoor bar should probably have been chosen in the first place. The brie-baked baby potatoes and cheese-covered pretzel bites were notably good and filling. Note: This visit took place in September 2024.

No food...could have been put together better...floor and tables were dirty and the lounges were disheveled..service was not good at all..and were asked to leave early while other guests were clearly staying...not sure I'll be go back but it served its purpose, outside and me and my girls left wit a cool buzz.

I made a reservation for my birthday and was shocked to see how poor the customer service was. The bar tender was trans which doesn’t matter but had an attitude when i ordered a drink. He acted annoyed that it was my birthday and was sarcastic when I was in a good mood on my special day. Very bush-league operation. Reserved on OpenTable for Valentines' Day at sunset two weeks out. Just got an email (2/10) cancelling our reservation with no explanation or apology....but they did suggest we 'try again on Open Table'. No answer on the 'High5' extension, but the Hotel (Kissel) switchboard informed me that the lounge was 'closed for the season' and management just 'hadn't gotten around to updating the OpenTable platform'. Now we're stuck for V-Day rezzies with most special venues already booked up. .Not.Cool. The switchboard at least was apologetic. She'd had experience fielding a flurry of other disappointed diners.
